This book has good illustrations and funny themed story line.

I liked the overall color scheme, if one wants to have this on their table they should get it.

With its title alone, "You've Guac to be Kidding",this is a fun read with great illustrations, smartly written.

'You've Guac to Be Joking: I Love Avocados!' by Cat Faulkner is a book of avocado puns.

Using words with avo, hass and pit in them, this is a collection of picture jokes like Brad Pitt drawn as an avocado, or a tyrannosaurhass rex. There are movie puns and phrase puns.

The problem, for me, was that while the drawings were kind of cute, the joke felt a bit thin to support a book of over 100 pages. I suppose if you have an avocado fan in your life, they might find this cuter than I did.

Its a book of guacamole puns... I didnt think it was possible but apparently it is. I'm more impressed with the author for being able to get this published than the actual content.

This was a hilarious book about avocados. My favorite by far was The guac and the tattoo detail was perfect! The illustrations were awesome and the captions/titles were great.
I definitely had a few good laughs while reading this punny book.

This is such a cute little book to gift somebody that is obsessed with avocados. The drawings are super cute and the little poems\puns are so much fun.

Very colorful, very funny and puny! As a older sister of 4, this is totally a book I would give to my brothers and sister to read! I really did laugh at a lot of it, so I'm sure they would enjoy as well!

YOU’VE GOT TO BE JOKING by Cat Faulkner is the perfect combination of humor and avocado’s. Each page depicts an avocado pun in the form of an illustration. I flew through it and have since gone back to enjoy the avo puns.

You know that person you need to buy a gift for, but it’s so difficult because you don’t know what they’ll like. They say they don’t want anything, but you know deep down they do. The person who has no interest or too many. The person you’re trying to impress, but in a subtle way. The millennial in your life. The person you got for secret Santa. Or maybe even your grandmother. This book is for that person. It’s fun, aesthetically pleasing, and comical. It will also make a perfect coffee table book, especially when you have guests over and must leave them for a while (hopefully to check if your avo’s are ripe).

A cute little book. I liked the puns and the drawings. A perfect gift for the ones who likes dad jokes.

Review: If you love puns and guac, "You've Guac to be Joking" is for you. This book is a quick read full of wonderful punny illustrations of avocado being various things and people. The one that stuck out to me the most is Hugh Guacman and it was a picture of an avocado with Wolverine claws. If you've had a bad day than this book has guac to cheer you up.

This book sounded really funny, I do love puns, provided they are done right. Sure, I am not a fan of avocados, but that shouldn't be in the way of enjoying this book.

And at first I was thinking this was quite funny, but after a few more pages I started getting bored, it was just so far-fetched at times, and often I didn't even see the effort. Oh look, Rolling Stones, hahaha, or Brad Pit, haha. Yes, so so funny. No. I am sorry, but I had expected some cleverer puns instead of simple ones.

I really had to drag myself through this book, by page 70 I was already so bored that I started watching some Netflix to get myself motivated. :P

The art was fun though, I really like the style. Just a shame that my review copy was a bit blurry/grainy. :(

But all in all, maybe you really need to be crazy about avocados to love this book, maybe that is why it didn't work for me. I am not sure, but sorry, this wasn't the book for me. :(

A great fun read. Pictures are very well drawn and although I had to Google hass, I now get all the jokes! I think the music ones are my favourite, queen and sitting on the Guac of the bay gull.

Guys? I'm not even sorry for loving this. I have to say that I'm probably eating too many avocados to be good. (Saying this while watching the four beauties ripe.)

This is a short and illustrated fill of puns, very easy to understand even for not a native speaker. There is not much to say about this other than that this is a funny gift for people obsessed with avocados. Also, the drawings were rather cute.

There is not much to say so I'll share my favourites.

AVOCUDDLE - I really want a cuddle with an avocado... or ten.

Avocado Emma Stone (she's wearing the Easy A corset) and Brad Pit are super funny.

The Pit of Dorian Green is absolutely hilarious, and good job on this one!

Fifty Shades of Green? I bet it's better than the original.

You've Guac to Be Joking was a wonderful and creative book! The illustrations were inventive, vivid and eye-catching. Even though young children would enjoy the pictures in the book, the target audience is definitely aimed at a more mature group. It's not because anything is inappropriate, it's just that the humor will not be understood by anyone too young. Personally, I think this book could make a fun housewarming gift for those who have most things that they truly need. It's clever and fun! What a fun little gem!

Very funny, very clever - I love me a good pun and a great illustration, and this book is full of them.
Lots of wit, lots of colour. A refreshing read. 'Avo look at it!

You've Guac to be Joking is a humorous book full of puns about what else? Avocados! As with most puns, some did come out a bit forced but some really had me laughing. There were a couple pages of this book that I would love to print and hang up as posters because they made me smile. Definitely would recommend.

Looking for a little laugh? Read this book! Its got some true LOL pages for you and some wit attached to advocados that you would never have thought of. The author did an amazing job connecting simple text to a cute illustration that makes the reader laugh, remember things from the past, and walk away from this book with a smile on their face. I read this with my children and they laughed out loud many times. They loved the illustrations. Well done!

A very fun illustrated book with avocado puns. Who would’ve thought that there could be over 100 puns to be made about an avocado? Some were very funny while others pretty mundane. Overall a good laugh and very cute and clever illustrations!
