Really enjoyed this book. Great plot and engaging, believe characters. I was drawn right into the story. Would definitely recommend.
I couldn't get through this one, sorry.
Hopefully it will appeal to young readers.

This was a fascinating book which challenged me to think about my own relationship with stories and literature. I really enjoyed the critique of outcomes and assessment-driven modem education.
It is, however, a difficult and jarring read which you can never quite immerse yourself.
I'd recommend this to readers looking for philosophical writing in a modem context, with folktale/sci-fi sections interwoven.
This unusual book is about coming of age, teaching literature, engaging students, exclusion and many more contemporary issues. The main characters are 15-year old Harriet who lives with her grandfather Max, her classmate Zeph, and the English teacher Molly. The story unfolds in modern Australia until Harriet steps into another world where mythology takes over. It is well crafted with beautiful language and syntax which comes together in an interesting read. While I personally do not enjoy coming of age stories nor parallel mythological worlds I enjoyed reading this unusual book.
This is a difficult book to review. I am VERY certain it would be very entertaining and interest to young adults.
It has a caring teacher who cares about teaching her students.
Then there is the sci-fi feel of 3 dimensions and went into a different area. I did finish the book in a day, so it was of interest.
Thanks, Netgalley for an ARC copy to read.
