I don't want to ruin this book for everyone who still has to read it, but believe me when I say that you are in for a thrilling read!
The story is really well written and I could not put it away. Can highly recommend!
I loved this book and would highly recommend it to all. It has a great story line, brilliant main characters and is a real page turner. I couldn't put this book down.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It felt a little long but the plot had interesting twists and turns. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a free copy in exchange for review.
I love all Stephen Edger's books and cannot fault the skill of his writing.
He gets you involved in the story line straight away, holds your interest throughout and the pace of the story just 'grabbed me' and I soon got involved with all the characters.
Overall I loved this book, found it difficult to put down and I would definitely recommend. It would be interesting to see if Stephen does a sequel to this story in the future.
Thank you to Netgalley and Harper Impulse Killer Reads for giving me the opportunity to read this brilliant book.
I received an ARC of this book thanks to Net Galley and publisher Killer Reads in exchange for an honest review.
Oh dear, another thriller I absolutely love until the ending. I am so disappointed to not be able to rate this book more highly because it started off so well. This is a thriller about a woman whose husband gets arrested for murder on their wedding day and this is such a fantastic premise for a thriller in my eyes. The main character was very well-written and I really felt for her as she had to navigate the horror of having her wedding spoiled by something so out of the ordinary. The other characters varied from alright to somewhat flat but in general, the writing was compelling and I was invested in the story. Not a ton happens during the middle section admittedly but my interest in the protagonist and the situation kept me reading.
Sadly I did not find the solution a satisfying one. Without giving too much away. there are two components to the conclusion of this mystery. The first one was decent enough and I actually would have preferred it if that character was responsible for the whole thing. The second one involved a character I forgot existed which is a massive problem. I can't really be shocked by something if I have no idea who the person it involves is. I really wish the ending of this had been different as it had huge potential and I enjoyed the other 75% of the book enormously.
Overall, this isn't a bad book by any means and I would definitely be interested in checking out more from the author. He crafts an interesting situation and populates it with decent characters. It's just a shame that the payoff wasn't as good as the set-up.
Overall Rating: 3/5
It is the first book that I've read from the author and possibly won't be the last. Till Death Do Us Part certainly is a gripping read. It starts really good and I was immediately hooked. The characters are okay though I question most of Alice's decision throughout the story. There are few twists and turns that I didn't anticipate which make it more enjoyable to read. Overall, a solid mystery thriller.
Till Death Do Us Part by Stephen Edger is next up on my TO READ list. Its getting rave reviews and I am so excited to read it. Other readers have commented that its a fast-paced story, offers lots of twists and turns and is gripping from beginning to end. Sounds perfect!
Here’s what you need to know:
Alice Tandy has dreamed of her wedding since she was a little girl. The perfect venue, the perfect dress, the perfect groom. It’s all going exactly to plan.
But then her whole world comes tumbling down. Just as she and her new husband Ben are cutting their wedding cake, three policemen storm in and arrest Ben. Alice looks on in horror, unable to comprehend what is happening. Did they say murder?
The next day, Ben is released on bail, but for Alice, the nightmare is only just beginning. And as more details about the murder of Kerry Valentine emerge she starts to realise that everyone around her is keeping secrets. Can she trust anyone? And who really killed Kerry?
I love psychological thrillers with page-turning suspense!
When reviewing this one, I find myself contrasting Stupid Character Syndrome with Entertainment Value.
The book is highly entertaining. I definitely wanted to know if he did it, if he didn’t do it who did, and how it would all play out.
But, oh, our main character was horrendously, would-slap-her-in-real-life Stupid. I understood literally none of the choices she made. Hubby gets arrested at the wedding? Have the reception anyway because he’s soooooooooooooooo trustworthy they’ll surely let him out in a minute. Total randos start spilling tea on this man you trust implicitly? Yeah, sure…I’ll go chat you up in a strange place. Find out accused-of-murder hubby just might be hiding something? Let me give you some marital advice ‘cause I’ve got this down!
Oof.
But, yes, it was entertaining as could be and the who was a bit surprising – the details even more so. But even that got stupid. Entertainingly so, but stupid.
Definitely a beach read!

I love all of Stephen Edger’s books and this is no exception. A fast paced storyline that grips you from the first page and the characters of Alice and Tara are really well written. I love the way the author keeps you engaged and you just want to finish the book to see if you have guessed the ending correctly. I also didn’t want the book to end, a sign of a great book!!! I highly recommend all of Stephen’s books.
I thought this book had a good start which grabbed my attention. The pace of the story was good and it kept me guessing all the way through. I read a lot of these types of books and didn't guess who had done it even though I had several suspicions throughout.
I found it a very easy read and all of the characters were well described with enough information to create a picture in my mind.
I really enjoyed this book and the way it was written.
Till Death Do Us Part by Stephen Edger 🖤

A good thriller mystery story. I really like the main characters of Alice and Tara and felt they were written really well. A fantastic twist at the end that I would never have suspected. Great book xx
Alice Tandy is in the middle of her dream wedding when the police arrest her husband for murder. Alice can’t believe her ears or eyes. The next day Ben is released on bail, but Alice’s nightmare is just beginning. The more she learns about victim Kerry Valentine, the more confused Alice becomes. Is her husband guilty? Who can she really trust and even more importantly, is her own life in jeopardy
Read and reviewed in exchange for a free copy in exchange for a free copy from NetGalley. I *loved* this book and was gripped by the story. I really liked Alice and Tara, and was desperate to know what was happening. The book was really well written, although I'm uncertain about the ending and how the conclusion fitted with some of the description in the first chapter. However, a great book!

Til Death Do Us Part was an enjoyable read. I figured out the killer halfway. But, of course, I continued the book. Keep me engaged and would recommend this book. No blood and gore or over the top sex scenes to take away from the book.
Thanks, NetGalley for the advance copy to review.

Till Death Do Us Part by Stephen Edger is a gripping thriller that will pull the reader in from the very first page. This is an addictive, adrenaline-coursing read that successfully embodies everything I love about this genre. I could not put this one down.
Alice and Ben are madly in love as they take their marriage vows before family and friends. It is, indeed, the wedding that Alice has always dreamed of, and everything is perfect until, while the couple are cutting the cake, the police arrive to arrest Ben for the murder of one Kerry Valentine, an exotic dancer in Bournemouth. Ben denies any knowledge of the incident, but Alice's bliss, and trust, have been shattered. As a darker side of her newly minted husband emerges, Alice wonders about the man with whom she has just joined her life. How well does Alice really know her husband, and is his arrest only the beginning of a nightmare of revelations?
This is the first novel by Stephen Edger that I have had the pleasure to read, but I will be seeking out others immediately. For me, any book that can pull me in so quickly, and then keep me fully engaged until the very end is one that I will recommend most highly. Full of twists and turns, spine-tingling suspense, and jaw-dropping revelations, you will not regret time spent in the mind of this talented author.
