Really fun! While I didn't like the first book that much, I'm excited for this one and I can't wait to read more.

Her Royal Highness so far has captivated me. I'm really excited, especially for the sapphic twist on a story that straight people have got to have forever. Millie seems like a really fun character, and the teenagers are all like real teenagers (and I love the use of "the tea is that __" in a book). I'm definitely looking forwards to reading the full book!

I’m so excited about this book! I loved Royals so I was probably going to read this anyhow, but this sneak peek made me all that more excited about it.

Based on an excerpt, this book will likely be full of the same American Ignorant Abroad as Royals--mostly fun teenagers with money and titles.

The sneak peek of Her Royal Highness had me so enthralled that I forgot I was reading a sneak peek and was very upset when I reached the end! Millie is a cute, relatable character and I can’t wait to see all of her adventures in Scotland. The story is fast paced and a quick, fun read. I can’t wait until I get the chance to finish the story.

Every once in a while a sample of a book comes along that actually manages to leave me wanting to read more. Her Royal Highness is one of those. While I will freely admit that this book does appear to fall under a more of a guilty pleasure read for me, but even so it's definitely a book that I will have on my radar to pick up in the future as I very much enjoyed reading the beginning of this novel.

Her Royal Highness begins with Millie Quint giving up her dream school in order to continue a relationship with one of her best friends, a girl called Jude, during her Senior year of high school. But when Jude suddenly gets back together with her ex-boyfriend, cheats on and ghosts Millie, she decides it's time to get out of her hometown and pursue the dream that she was mistakenly willing to put on hold for so long. Soon, with a full scholarship, she arrives at a private school in Scotland that has accepted female students for the first time ever. Lo and behold there's more than just an amazing school to this adventure as Millie soon learns her roommate is an actual princess.

There's definitely a feeling of cliche-ness to the story, but it's well written thus far and definitely leaves you wanting to know more. I wish that there had been a little bit more insight into Princess Flora than just her posh attitude and annoyance at being treated like a normal person rather than a princess, however, I'm sure the book will give a lot more of that. As it stands now, though, I don't feel like I see her as a viable love interest for Millie just yet and it is that piece that makes me a tiny bit reluctant to read the rest of the book, the fear that I won't like who Flora turns out to be. But then, I suppose I'll just have to read the book to find out.

I always worry about the second book in a series being disappointing, but so far this one is even better than I expected. I love Millie already and can't wait to see her adjust to being in a new school and a new country. What she called Flora had me cracking up and I'm dying to see how their relationship progresses.

This preview was fun and I look forward to the whole book. Good characters, loved the concept, and I'm sure it will be good for some laughs and sympathetic chuckles.

I read book one of the Royals series and at first thought this didn’t feel like a spin off. But then Prince Sebastian’s sister makes an appearance.

Milllie has been dreaming of going to school in Scotland. She found the perfect school but if she can’t get a scholarship, it’s way too expensive.
She’s also dragging her feet in applying because her crush on her best friend Jude seems like it’s finally reciprocated.
But when she catches Jude kissing her ex boyfriend, she realizes that her relationship with Jude has come to an end.

She applies to the prestigious school in Scotland and gets a full scholarship.
This excerpt ends shortly after Millie meets her new roommate, who just happens to be Princess Flora.

The beginning of this book is already so promising! It was hard to get so many pages of the book and not get to continue. The premise of the book is exactly the kind of book I would enjoy and I was right so far. It's very well written with some awesome characters so far. Excited to read the rest!

I can not WAIT to read this entire book! I LOVED the first one but this one is even better!! Millie seems like such a real character, funny real and totally clashes with Princess Flora so far in the sneak peak. I am so looking forward to reading the rest of this book! Can't wait for it to come out. Thanks so much for the Sneak Peak!!!!

I am SO incredibly excited for this book. I didn't even realize I blew through the first seven or eight chapters in about an hour while I was home sick yesterday. While I always love Rachel Hawkins' writing, I especially loved the slow-burn trope inversion she's doing in this book in the interstitial gossip pieces-- "Oh, look, the prince from the last book is going to the school in Scotland that our main character is interested in!" A few chapters later "Never mind, he's not going and our heroine is into girls anyway." Finally, "Oh wait, but his sister is going!" I'm preordering the hardcover for sure.

Fun sneak peek! I really can't wait to read the rest. It looks like it'll be a fun pick for fans of royalty and romcoms! I enjoyed the characters and dialogue so far.

This peek into Her Royal Highness was great. Millie has escaped to school in Scotland where she is trying to heal her wounded heart. Her long-time best friend and recent crush recently got back together with her boyfriend and Millie did not expect that to happen. Now that she's in Scotland, she is rooming with pampered princess Flora who she can barely tolerate but just might end up being her next love interest.... This was definitely a fun little teaser!

Her Royal Highness is one of my most anticipated 2019 reads, and this sneak peek made me want the book even more! I'm so excited to follow Millie and her adventures in Scotland. Also, her being a STEM girl and being bi . . . and being in a hate-to-love relationship with her roommate, an actual princess . . . Everything about this book screams "YOU'LL LOVE IT" to me!
