I had mixed feelings reading this. Adam meets Remy on a blind date and instantly feels a connection. As the date progresses she gets drunk and throws up on him at the end. While this might not sound like the ideal date to Adam their connection is undeniable but he doesn't see her again until his sister invites Remy to a cabin so she can hook her up with her other brother Henry. And this is where it gets crazy. Remy feels nothing for Henry but leads him along. She figures out who Adam is but keeps this knowledge from everyone else.
Her drinking and her friend's insistance that she hook up with Henry although she mentions several time she's not interested shows big signs of immaturity. I couldn't gauge if they were adults or young adults.
Although the ending was sweet all of the misunderstanding and drinking turned me off.
This was a fun quick read. I enjoyed the storyline and characters although it was short and sometimes felt the story was a bit rushed. This book is part of a series and ends making me want to read the next one.
Really interesting concept. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could have used a little more since this is really a short story but hey, they tells you a lot. Good, very quick, read!
Even though this book is part of The Whiskey Saga series, it can easily be read as a standalone.
It was a nice, easy & flirty read. It was a bit on the short side, and light on the character development, but it was an entertaining and fun filled romantic adventure that was hard not to like.
So overall, I enjoyed passing a couple of hours in the company with the "Whiskey Chick", and had some very cute LOL moments with it.
Whiskey Chick is a book about Remi and Adam.
Remi and Adam had a disastrous date that involved to much whiskey and a disastrous ending. The only thing that wasn’t a disaster was the chemistry between them.
Thus starting the story of the whiskey chick that Adam now tells everything, but he has changed the girls name.
Everything changes when Remi ends up at Adams family cabin. No one knows she is Whiskey Girl. Adam is gentleman and doesn’t tell anyone it is her. Remi and Adam still have chemistry but Remi is at the cabin to spend time with Adams brother.
Whiskey Chick is a great read. It is an entertaining and an easy and quick read. The confusion, mix ups and fix ups make way for some hilariously funny situations. Ryan Ringbloom is a new author for me and I can’t wait to read more by the author.
This was a fun, quick story! I love how it starts with Adam telling his story about whiskey chick remi.
This story is packed with heat and humor. I couldn’t put it down
Whiskey Chick is entertaining, funny and romantic from beginning to end. Replete with comical, laugh out loud moments as well as hot and sexy scenes between characters and the story is absolutely perfect. Looking forward to more books by this author. Becoming a new favourite of mine for romance comedy stories to read as he has had me come back for this book after Whiskey D*ck. totally recommend

WHISKEY CHICK by Ryan Ringbloom is a second book in Whiskey Dick series. I think that it can be read as a standalone, as I haven’t read the first book yet and didn’t feel any confusion with this story. But after this fun time, I should get to previous one as well.
When I requested this book, I thought that it could be an OK read, something light and funny. But NO! I was so wrong. This was a GREAT and very entertaining 4 star read.
Remi getting all drunk on a first date was fun to read about. However, the scene where Remi and Jen got silly drunk was just so ridiculously stupid that I couldn’t stop laughing. What’s wrong with me? I was actually crying from laughing. I don’t remember when was the last time I had so much fun reading a book. And that was not all, there were sparks flying, steamy moments mixed with some disastrous moments, misunderstandings and the legend of the whiskey chick.
This was definitely a funny, enjoyable story and a wild ride. It was light on drama. It was kind of a sweet second chance romance, as their first date was a disaster. Then after a couple of years, some mix-ups and set-ups, they get a chance at a second date, which doesn’t turn out that well. However, giving up is not in their cards, so maybe HEA is still possible for them ;) This book saved me from the doom of reading slump for the time being.
If you are looking for a quick, light and entertaining read then this short and funny Romantic Comedy is for you. Just a perfect RomCom book. I can’t wait for Jen and even Henry’s stories. I liked Jen, Remi and Adam, hopefully, Henry will grow on me as well.
Every had a date with your soulmate that went soo wrong? It was so terrible that it's officially the traditional story for family and friends?
Well for Remi shes the infamous Whiskey Chick in Adams family. But luckily for her no one besides Adam knows.
This book was very hilarious and very cute! It was a very qucik read, but so worth it!
I really want to know the story with Henry and Lori by the way!
A big thank you to NetGalley and the author. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I truly enjoyed this book!! It was funny and fun to read. I enjoyed the main characters Adam and Remi. It was a fairly quick read but on so fun. I give it 4 stars.
4.5 stars!
I loved this book and I love this author!
I never knew that I could find a new favorite author and not realize it! Ryan Ringbloom writes books that I love! She is funny and smart and a brilliant story teller!!
I liked this book more than the first one in the series, but even so, "Whiskey Chick" felt very short and the characters seemed underdeveloped to me. Remi (the female lead) kept saying how surprised she was that her friend Jenn set her up with her brother Henry when she had so much more in common with Jenn's other brother Adam (the male lead), but I still haven't figured out exactly what those commonalities are. I don't feel like I learned much about Adam at all. I don't remember his job ever being mentioned, and I'm pretty sure the first time I heard his last name was in the final chapter. Basically, the only two things I remember about Adam are that he likes to ride carnival rides and that he spends his free time at the gym. As for Remi, we know that she's a twin, is in school to become a cosmetologist, has a reputation for being "unfiltered," and also likes carnival rides. So I guess there's one thing they have in common after all!
On the bright side, there were definitely some LOL moments in this book. For example, I enjoyed the striptease scene very much and couldn't help laughing at the idea of Adam's relatives wondering what was going on in his room when they saw that.
Overall, reading "Whiskey Chick" was an OK way to pass a couple of hours on a snowy afternoon, but I doubt I will continue with the series or seek out any more of Ringbloom's books in the future. I love romantic comedies, but I need more character development in order to really enjoy them.

I thought this was going to be pretty good based on the summary, but it really hit for me. Wish it had been better fleshed out. Seemed very short.
well to begin with this story is absolutely hilarious, I simply cant imagine the horror knowing you are the infamous whiskey chick within the family. Love it, recommend it for mature readers !
Everyone in the Barclay family has heard about the infamous Whiskey Chick. The blind date who ended up getting drunk after non-stop shots of whiskey before ultimately vomiting on him at the front door of her parents house.
This novel is a laugh out loud rom-com with great lead and secondary characters, good storyline and best of all filled with hilarious banter and witty scenes. It was a quick and fun read. After two years of what-ifs and regrets of finding the one that got away, this is the perfect second chance romance novel everyone needs to read.
This was HILARIOUS! A lot of books say they are rom coms, but the most they'll do for me is an occasional "heh." A book that actually makes me laugh? Rare. So rare. But this one did. To the point where the people around me were giving me weird looks. A rare beast indeed...
This was my first introduction to Ringbloom, but I would definitely be willing and happy to read more. The story was great, the laughs were real, and the couple was memorable. I would recommend this book to others.
Loved it!
Ryan Ringbloom is one of my go-to authors.
What I liked:
The writing style
The characters
The humor...snort laughing funny
Dual POVs
Part of a series: The Whiskey Saga
Standalone
HEA
I look forward to reading more from this author and the other books in this series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from NetGalley.
A short but entertaining read. The story of Remi, who unknown to her is Whiskey Chick, and Adam.
Thrown back together 2 years after a blind date went wrong, what will happen this time?
Looking froward to reading more from this author.
Okay this was the first book by this author ive read. Im so sad i missed Whiskey Dick before i read this one but let me tell you i am going to go look it and other books by author up asap because this book caught me off guard. I loved this book. I usually read darker books and i can honestly say this book might change that. I really wasn't sure where this story was going to lead when i was reading chapter one. Before you know it you will have whole book read. I couldnt out it down. Both Remy and Adam are very likeable. I loved how things might have not started to well for them because first dates rarely go as good as they are perceived in romances. They both blame theirselves and think they totally blew it but sometimes fate gives you a second chance in the most unlikely places. I don't want to say too much and spoil it because you truly need to read this if you love comedy romances. I will tell you there is a part in book when Remy and her best friend get drunk and they are texting one of their brothers and it cracked me up because the guy texts one thing but their drunk minds see it differently. It cracked me up. This book will leave you feeling lighter and a smile upon your face. And what girl would not totally fall for Adam(i kinda wanted to be the one who punched Henry haha). Okay i know this review is probably confusing but i i don't want to give anything away. Just know that this is a fun read. Makes you wanna believe in second chances.
