This was a fun and sweet story and I loved it. It was well written and developed with excellent characters. Everything flowed well and the pace was well done. I loved the idea of them being snowed in together and romance blooming. Such a good book!!

Snowed in at a cabin in the woods. You kind of know where this is going before it even happens.

This was my first time reading Gillian Archer, it wasn't bad.

A story where two people end up stuck in a cabin in Lake Tahoe. Rachel is cleaning the cabin as she works for a cleaning company and Austin gets some news he is not prepared for and takes off to his friends’ cabin. When he wakes after drinking she is there and she is stuck because of a blizzard has come through. At first, he is a jerk and then he mellows and then while still and the cabin when she thinks everything is going good he becomes a jerk again. She is finally able to leave when he finds out that the person she has been referring to is her son he feels like a jerk and looks her up when he gets back. Once back his brothers has it out with him for running off and leaving them to handle everything. They also tell him they knew what was happening. Once he finds Rachel things start to heat up but after she explains to him about what happened in her past he understands. That is until he runs away again, now she has a good idea where he went will she go after him? Read this good book to find out.

This is the first book in the Burns Brothers Series. I always enjoy Gillian Archer’s books. I always find the characters are well written and her the storylines well thought out. This book was no exception. Another great read!!!

Austin and Rachel get snowed in at a cabin in which he is staying at and she shows us to clean it. Not expecting anyone to be there, Rachel gets a big surprise when she finds she isn’t alone in the cabin.

I love Gillian Archers stories but this one was a hard on to like. The hero was hard to see as a hero. It was well written, full of drama and bad boy craziness. Even though it was hard to like eventually the entertainment caught up with and I couldnt wait to finish it

Austin was a poop from the first book for quite a while. It took me a while to consider liking him. His life has been tough and he has a lot of responsibility. I loved reading and learning about Austin's brothers. The book is a standalone and we get an insight into the next book...at least with Austin and his brothers' father being released from prison. Rachel has a lot of responsibility too, taking care of her young son and her disabled mom. These two need each other!

Sweet....sexy...and just enough action and even groveling :)

Gillian Archer is ago to for me. I can always get lost in one of her books and fall in love with the characters. This one doesn't disappoint and I can't wait to read more of the series.

This is the 4th book I've read by this author, but the least I liked.

As another reviewer stated, it was really hard to like Austin. I found him to be incredibly immature throughout most of the book. Which is in direct contrast to what I expected of him based on his past. Rachel was great...until she blew something way out of proportion. Let's face, she was waiting for him to screw up and the moment he made a mistake she jumped on it. Even towards the end I found her to be very selfish even if she used her son as the excuse for her behavior.

Side note, in today's day it wouldn't have been possible for Austin to pick up Wyatt at school. There was no mention of Rachel listing him on the pick up approval list and their relationship wasn't there yet so it wouldn't have made sense for her to do that. Trish would have had to jump through some pretty major hoops to have this going on for days on end yet it was never discussed. As a parent I know the lengths the school makes you jump through before they'll release your child to someone other than a parent. This was a red flag for me.

And hello! Where was the closure with the dad? We have an epilogue three months later which fits when something major should have been happening but it's not mentioned again?

“Build” is brimming with deep emotion, complex relationships, and steamy romance and passion. A sexy bad boy romance with smokin hot chemistry between the main characters, great secondary characters and a storyline that will keep you turning the pages. Definitely be looking for more books by this author. Totally recommend

A great start to a new series of Burns brothers. The oldest brother Austin runs in his friend cottage which Rachel has to clean. But they got snow in and spend two days together. They know eachother on more levels. So, of course, Austin persuades Rachel and they start a relationship which Austin ruins because Rachel is too afraid to trust him after his mistake. I liked the story and both characters are well developed and likable. I liked that we see so many different layers of Austin and he is a really great person. The story is full of family drama, family love and I really enjoyed reading it. I hope that the next one will be great as well.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I was fortunate enough to get a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for a review, which I am happy to provide. First off I am a big fan of Gillian Archer, and her previous True Brothers MC Series is one I love to re-read all the time, so I had pretty high hopes for this new series. I so wanted to like it more than I did, but I just did not care for Austin and Rachel very much at the beginning and I did not loose myself in the story like I usually do. The chemistry between them just wasn't there for me, but Gillian turned it around in the end and I liked the rest of the storyline. I am enough of a fan of her work that I am looking forward to the next book in the series and hope this book was just a minor hiccup.

Rachel and Austin end up stranded in a cabin together and sparks fly. What will happen when they are no longer stranded will they go their separate ways or try to turn it into more. Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and emotion. I really liked the characters as well as the story. A good read.

Motorcyclist and mechanic extraordinaire, Austin Burns, owns a motorcycle shop that caters to some of the most extravagant and expensive custom bikes owners around. His three brothers work with him in the shop. All four Burns brothers have bachelorhood down to a “t” and celebrate their independence almost every night with drinking and carousing. Austin has never been in love or ever plans to be so! He’s never met the woman of his dreams, that is until he meets single mom, Rachel Tennenbaum. Gillian Archer once again writes a smoothly crafted story about a motorcycle bad boy and the the woman he loves! I love Gillian Archer so this is a big five stars for me!

This book is now available from Gillian Archer. An egalley of this book was made available by the publisher in exchange for a honest review.

Austin gets the bad news that his father is being paroled, so he heads up to Lake Tahoe so he can drown his sorrows in peace. What he doesn’t expect is to be snowed In with the mousy house cleaner. If Rachel didn’t have bad luck, she’d have no luck at all. But when she meets Austin, just maybe that luck will change.

I really didn’t like Austin ... what a jerk! Up at Lake Tahoe he treated Rachel like crap. But as the story went on, I warmed up to him ... a bit. I did like Rachel ... she was a hard working single mom and tired her best. She was just dealt a really shitty hand. I found the relationship between the Brothers realistic and will be interested to read their stories.

I received an ARC courtesy of the author through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

Almost a 3.5 star read for me. I liked the families. Austin's complicated relationships with his brothers made for interesting reading and I kept turning the page to read more about their turbulent dynamic. Rachel's son and mother were great secondary characters, adding humor and depth in appropriate amounts. I liked the final conflict and resolution. It felt real for the characters and counteracted the major impediment to the relationship, which made the HEA very satisfying. Plus it expanded on the family ties and made me curious about the subsequent books in the series.

Austin's default response to stress was running away and I just rolled my eyes at him after the third or fourth time. Rachel responded by emotionally withdrawing and/or citing her other responsibilities, which felt a bit more valid but still got a little frustrating.
