A book that has the one-time daughter of a motorcycle President growing up to become a cop. Once you get into the story you find that she has moved to a different town yet she has been discovered by one of the guys she grew up with who is with the club as a cop. Neither tells anyone because she ends up falling for her partner and they begin to date. The story takes a turn when her partner is shot and you find out that her mother has been working with the FBI at times as well, there is also a dirty cop in the force. Turns out to be a lot going on in this story. Good characters, and an easy read fast read.
As is obvious based on how long it’s been since this title was published, I have decided not to review this title.
I apologize for the delay is sending the feedback, as well as for potentially clogging up an inbox with reports that are not timely…
Thanks again!
So the Wind Dragons MC and family has come full circle and ends with the story of the princess of the original couple and how she finds herself split between family loyalty and what she sees as her life’s calling. I have been a fan of this series since I stumbled into it and then went back to the beginning to learn the full greatness of this club. Ms. Fernando has an intense and sensual writing style that drags readers into the lives of her characters that makes us hungry for more with each installment in a series and new series we are gifted with. This series ends with Clover, the oldest daughter of the original club president and his wife, trying to find her way in her new chosen profession as a police officer, but with her family and past, things are inevitably going to become complicated. Clover’s new partner Felix is instantly attracted to the spitfire rookie, but as he learn more about her, the attraction goes deeper, and they begin to build a relationship that could become so much more. When Clover’s true identity and past begin to bleed into her job and her present, she and Felix have to decide how they will handle it both professionally and personally, because there is something rotten in their world and they can’t leave it as is. I enjoyed seeing Clover find her footing as a woman and a police officer, though there were a few moment where I questioned her naiveté and wanted to give her a firm slap upside the head. She is obviously a loyal, sweet, and fierce woman that will always stand up for what’s right even at the expense of what is “correct” even if it puts her in danger. Felix was a beast in the best way, and despite him being a cop, he fit right into the perfect mold for a mate for Clover, alpha to the core and loving and strong as he stood for his woman and what he knows is the right thing to do. The passion between these two, even when they were arguing and times were rough, was off-the-chart hot and I enjoyed every second of that. I was sad to see the series ending, even knowing there was more coming in the form of spin-offs, but all in off Clover’s story was the best ending I could have thought of for this long running series about the greatness of an MC dedicated to family, freedom, and fighting for the underdog. Chantal has done it again and I for one will cherish every moment.
Chantal Fernando is a superstar- I loved this series and can't wait to read more by this great romance author!
The Story in 4 Sentences or Less: As the Princess of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, Clover Black has had an unusual life, but with that life comes expectations that she rebels against. By becoming a cop without her family knowing. Now she’s working with fellow cop Felix Banks and begins to fall for him but keeping her two lives separate doesn’t last for long and when the truth comes out, Clover finds herself having to choose between her family and her past, and her love for Felix and her future.
Like It? Hate it? Love it? Why? Maybe MC Romance isn’t my thing, I don’t know but I couldn’t get into Fallen Princess. I didn’t care for the heroine one bit and there were some moments that were just too far into the realm of impossibility for me.
The book is told entirely from Clover’s POV which isn’t my thing. I really wish books would have some kind of label or something in the synopsis to let readers know if they’re told in first person or not. It would have saved me a lot of irritation in a case like this where I just couldn’t find anything in the heroine to like. It’s difficult to get through a book when you’re stuck seeing things through the eyes of a character you don’t like. I thought Clover was full of herself with her constant reminders of how intelligent and awesome she is yet it never crossed her mind that the police academy would do a full and thorough background on her and find out that she was born into a notorious MC. If something that simple didn’t occur to her then that puts in doubt the whole intelligence claim doesn’t it?
In reality I found Clover to be naïve, ridiculous, rebellious, immature, and whiny. She had a complete disregard for chain of command when it came to her first partner who was also her T.O. (Training Officer). I mean what did she think, that she was going to graduate the academy a full blown police officer without any on the job training? Come on. Then she gets a new partner, Felix and all of a sudden she’s doing what she’s told? Is it because she has the hots for her new partner? Yep.
Felix wasn’t much better with him blurring the lines because technically he’s her superior. Talk about unequal footing. And you know what? Zero chemistry between them. Everything happens so fast, there’s no angst, no longing, no tension, nothing. These two go from zero to sixty in a second. I found the whole execution of the plot rather silly and had a hard time finishing the book.
Click It or Skip It? Skip It. I’m willing to give the MC Romance genre another go but it might be a while before I do.
I enjoyed this one. A favorite author of mine indeed! Clever title and characters came to life in a brilliant way!
If you've read the rest of the Wind Dragons MC you'll want to read Fallen Princess because it brings back all of your favorite characters. Sadly, aside from nostalgia, it just didn't work for me. Insta-love and a rushed story line.
So the daughter of a Wind Dragon is a cop. *insert gasp* and they dont know *insert double gasp*!!
I loved Clover. She is strong, feisty and can certainly handle herself. Even at a young age she knew what she wanted......
Then there is Felix. The new partner. Former jock. Up and coming cop. Sex on a stick. And he is also the sweetest guy who stands for everything good. I loved him!
A friendship forms, sparks fly, undies fall off and then there is The Wind Dragons to contend with.....oh and a police force who are out to use Clover......
I loved being back in the WD world and I so want in on that that message group!
I fell in love with the Wind Dragons MC when I read Faye and Dex’s story, which made me incredibly eager to read their daughter Clover’s story in Fallen Princess. As with the previous additions to the series, Clover and Felix’s story is full of intrigue, suspense, action and steam.
Clover grew up the princess of the Wind Dragons MC, and she’s the perfect blend of her strong, independent, driven, intelligent and defiant parents.
Felix is her perfect match, a loving, strong, alpha male.
The attraction and connection between Felix and Clover is undeniable, yet also quite realistic, and I loved the witty banter they share.
Being a fan of both the Wind Dragons MC and the Cursed Ravens MC series, I was pleased to see several past characters make cameo appearances within the story line.
I highly recommend this title to anyone who loves an mc romance with strong themes of family, friendship and loyalty, and I look forward to seeing more of this generation of the Wind Dragons MC.
I cannot get enough of Chantal Fernando's writing and her MC series have been some of my favorites. Fallen Princess was everything I hoped for, catching up with old favorites, meeting the new generation and getting more of Chantal's trademark sassy heroines and alpha men. Clover Black was always destined to carve her own path and Fallen Princess did not disappoint. I laughed, I swooned, and I fanned myself a few times while Clover found her place in the world and the love her life. I especially enjoyed catching up with Arrow, Sin and the guys as they dealt with Clover growing up. Or at least tried to. lol I'm crossing my fingers we're going to get more of the next generation in the future!
I enjoyed this book. It was a little slow in the beginning but i enjoyed following up on the children from the series. I hope that more books are coming soon.
4 star
I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

Arrow's Hell (Wind Dragons MC, #2)
Tracker's End (Wind Dragons MC #3)
Dirty Ride (Wind Dragons MC #3.5)
Rake's Redemption (Wind Dragons MC #4)
Wild Ride (Wind Dragons MC #4.5)
Wolf's Mate (Wind Dragons MC #5)
Last Ride (Wind Dragons MC #5.5)
Crossroads (Wind Dragons MC #6)
This is Clover and Felix’s story. Clover became a cop as that is what she wanted but her family is not happy about it. They are member of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club and have a certain way of life. But she wants to form her own path. When she gets a partner, they hit it off. He becomes her friend but is he really her friend or is he taking advantage as he knows what she comes from. Can she trust him to put her first and not taking down her family? Or is everyone out to get only what they want from her?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
Clover is the daughter of the characters from the fist book in the series. She was brought up surrounded by the MC and was viewed upon as the “princess” since her father was the president of the club for a long time. However, Clover is all grown up now and she’s decided to take a different path in life. Instead of becoming an account, like she tells her family, she joins the police academy and starts working as a cop. She tries to keep her private life with the MC a secret from her employers, and her career fro mher family. Obviously, things don’t go as planned.
I really liked this story. I liked that over the course of the series (the printed books, at least) we’ve seen Clover as a child. She’s grown up throughout the books, but this was the first time I got to see her as an adult. While she does make some questionable choices and acts as if she’s the best thing on the force, it’s kind of understandable given her upbringing. She was a treasured and spoiled as a kid by the whole MC, not just her parents. So, of course she’s going to have a certain mentality like her crap don’t stink. She’s always been told she is good at whatever she sets her mind at, and she feels like she deserves more in life. I also really liked that her character didn’t take anything laying down. She fought for what she wanted, and she never gave up or backed down.
Another huge part of this story is Felix, her new partner and academy’s “golden child.” Felix’s father was a cop and so Felix is sort of following in his father’s footsteps. He prides himself on being the best that he can. So, when he’s paired with the loud-mouthed rookie as his new partner, he’s less than thrilled. The last thing he wants to do is babysit and train someone. However, he soon learns that there’s a lot more to Clover than the force is giving her credit for. He takes the time to train her, listen to her, and really gets to know her. While he still had a strong male presence, he wasn’t some hot-headed alpha male you see all too often. He wasn’t afraid to let Clover take the reigns and I really liked that.
Obviously these two strike up a relationship and that causes a lot of issues across the board. Between Clover’s family not knowing what her job really is, let alone that she’s dating a cop, the force would probably have a lot to say about the two of the dating. Not only is that looming over their heads the entire time, they are on this case to take down a drug dealer who’s handing out free drugs to people in order to get them hooked. Oh yeah, and also the force knows who Clover really is and might possibly be trying to manipulate her into being an informant on other MC’s. So yeah… there’s a lot that goes on in this story.
I’m so glad we got Fallen Princess. We’ve seen Clover slowly grow from the very first book and I’m so happy that she got her own story. Not to mention I am thrilled that she forged her own path in life. She didn’t become some biker chick. She didn’t run off to live a different life and separate herself from her family. She was able to work through the problems, find love, keep her family, and find happiness. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this story.
I have been waiting for a story featuring Clover for a while now. This spinoff standalone was more than worth the wait.
Clover Black becomes a police officer. Now that isn’t really a big deal for most. In fact, most parents would be proud. The problem is Clover’s father is the former president of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club and her mother is Faye Black the notorious club lawyer. I mean her family is the the who’s-who of the MC world. You can see where this would be a problem.
There is so much to love about this book. First is the story behind why Clover became a cop. It is one of the sweetest childhood memories I have had the pleasure of reading in a while. She knew in a moment what she wanted to be and why. I think it is great but that she did go about it in the wrong way.
She kept it hidden leading two lives until the day those two lives crash right into one another. I think she had a bit of tunnel vision because she didn’t think about why she was even allowed to enter the police academy. It should have never happened with her ties.
Her partner, Felix, has his own set of issues with motorcycle clubs since his father was killed by one. At first I didn’t think I would like Felix but as the action picks up he starts to grow on me. I didn’t know if he was going to stick it out. I love when he meets the entire MC. I also love the glimpse of all of the characters from the Wind Dragons MC.
What a fantastic read from the next generation of Wind Dragons Motorcycle club. Truly enjoyable read in the author's signature writing style which draws the reader in. The only issue I have with this book was starting it at 10pm....I couldn't put it down which lead to a very tired next day! Highly recommended!
2014 is the year I first picked up one of Chantal's stories and it just so happened to be the book that lead us to this point now. Dragons lair is where this all began and for me, is still one of my all time favourites. 5 years on and that sweet fiesty little MC princess whom changed so many lives with her presence is now a big girl all grown up and on the right side of the tracks. Though I'm sure her family wouldn't agree.
MC princess turns cop?. Yup you read that right. She's a freaking COP!!.
Clover was everything I knew she had the potential to be. She always had a different path in life. Her story much like that of her parents took a turn no one could have anticipated. Not only did she grow up and decide she was going to be a cop.. something that her family has spent their lives avoiding. She did it all by herself with only one person from her family knowing.
Banks is exactly what Clover needed. He much like her is out to prove himself and rise up to the legacy his father created. What you see is what you get with him. There is no airs and graces nor is there any bullshit denial. I like that he took his time trusting but once he did, he trusted completely. It's a rare and endearing quality.
I feel like both Clover and Banks are very well rounded character. With so many layers I felt like every chapter revealed something new about the both of them. Kind of like the gift that keeps giving. They matched perfectly and all things considered became a solid couple very early on. Both dominant, super stubborn and quick witted. It worked even when you'd think is shouldn't. Also it takes hella balls to take on what he did because in all fairness he basically married into the MC when he got with her.
I loved that element of suspense. It hummed beneath the surface like a whisper and I was just waiting for the ball to drop and the secrets to start rolling out. I really enjoyed that Clover got time with her man without the MC first!. I feel like I really got a good feel for them. It was more believable having that build up, exploring different sides to their personalities and really seeing that foundation building towards something special. The connection was fire from the start!. That disgruntled partnership at the beginning set everything off. The chemistry was on point!. I just loved them hard.
The story is seamless in its build up with just enough angst/action and suspense to keep things interesting. It also has that sweet forbidden element that gets you hooked from the first page. The sweet, sassy and funny. The betrayal, lies and secrets. Everything's just flowed perfectly. Expect the unexpected. Understand that her story is hers and not her parents. But live for those family get togethers and hilariously dysfunctional shenanigans. There's a few of them.
Also sneak peaks into the future and getting see where everyone is now!. Fuck yes. Chantal got this so spot on. She managed to keep the light on the hero and heroine without neglecting the legacy in which they came from. The time line felt just perfect and it also made me love the Wind Dragons all over again. The loyal, the friendships and the love. It's there as clear as day.
I'm so fucking glad this story is here and I cannot wait for what's to come in the future.
I have been following this series since DAY ONE! It's my absolute favorite. I may not be into the "romance" genre much right now, but these books will always have room on my shelf (or kindle-you know what I mean).
It's a bit emotional seeing this series make a full circle. As in book one was about her parents, and here we are with this book all about her. So, a bit emotional I think. Knowing who her family is and what they do, she goes outside their MC and joins the police academy. (like WHAT!?) Girl, I didn't want you to have beef with your family, I love your family. But spoiler free, its all okay.
Unputdownable is an understatement. I read Arrow's Hell in less than 24 hours. This took me LESS THAN THAT.
This series by Chantal Fernando will always be placed on my top 10, Top 5, everything. She is absolutely amazing in how she can convey these characters to her readers.
Loved it. Love This Series.
I 5 Star everything I read from Chantal for a reason. BECAUSE they are THAT good. Ok, they are more than that but I can only say so much in a review.
OMG! Chantal Fernando has released Clover story in Fallen Princess. And I am so excited! I was absolutely waiting for Clover story forever and we finally have it. And Chantal Fernando has not disappointed at all.
Fallen Princess is the right title for Clover because after all she is the MC Princess. Clover has not changed at all when we read about in Ace in Hearts. She is still sassy than ever and ballsy than ever too. She has accomplished something so much more but it can be problematic for her MC family. She has become police officer. It is kinda irony if you think about it. She is becoming something that all MC despise. But she wants to help people no matter what that becoming a police officer is what she wants for her. There will be some challenges for her because she is hiding a big part of her from family and coworker especially Felix Brown.
Clover will struggle how to balances her lives that it will kinda explode. But she can definitely count on her parents to support her no matter what. They always love for her that they do kind at all. They understand why she did it. They just wish she would have cake to them first but the police officers are looking for something sine everyone knows
Clover is the MC princes.
While she has her parents support, things get a little complicated with Felix. Felix is her trainer and boss but they get closer as they spend more time with each other. I think Felix is right for her because he never push expectation of her, he just support her no matter. That’s the man that Clover needs. She should never change. Plus, they have hot chemistry with each other that it makes the story much more hotter. I enjoy their scenes together.
Fallen Princess will bring Clover story full force than before. Five stars.
Fallen Princess is the seventh installment of the Wind Dragon MC series by Chantal Fernando.
If you have NOT read the previous Wind Dragon MC installments then you need to stop reading this review right now! If you have, please continue.
Chantal Fernando has created a tight-knit family through the Wind Dragon MC series both fictional characters and avid readers. I have loved reading this series! I was ecstatic and surprised when I heard about Clover getting her very own story.
Clover Black is the niece of the President of the Wind Dragon MC and is loved strongly by everyone associated with the club. As a person who’s considered from the “wrong side of the tracks”, she’s ready to become the one thing bikers can’t trust. Police.
As Clover goes into the police force, she’ll have to fight ten times as hard to prove she’s worth becoming a policewoman. For she’s being discriminated for not only her gender but where she came from. Though, the real challenge is Felix Banks who she’s currently partnered up with.
He’s hot and then cold towards her, but he’s about to get a dose of his own medicine.
WOWZER! The hostility and uphill battle are real! Chantal Fernando certainly puts a whole new twist on defiance as Clover becomes a policewoman. Her family in the MC doesn’t have the best history when it comes to cops. But with Clover becoming one, their ties are at a crossroad. But her partner, Felix. Whoo.
He’s hot, in a uniform and hates Clover for who she represents. But the attraction will not be denied! Chantal Fernando made that certain and very much real as we watch them battle…in the cruiser and between the bed sheets.
Highly recommend reading the Wind Dragon MC series if you haven’t. Though be warned, I'm slightly biased for I love MC stories.
Rhetta , Cara and Clover have grown up together in the "Wind Dragons" but ever since she was little girl Coiver wanted to be a policewoman and I'm sure that didn't sit well with the MC....
Clover follows her dream and the only person who knows her secret is Cara , well she was the only one for a long time ....
I must say I admire Clover, the guys in force gave her a hard time and she doesn't let them to to her and when she's assigned a new partner she learns alot form Felix in more ways than one .....
Her real life collides with "under cover life " and she has to choose between the 2......
I enjoyed Felix and Clover, he taught her alot about being a part of law and order but he also taught her about life and love and his love for her is real and unconditional, something Cara said to her really hit the nail on the head about character " Because you go after what you want , Clover . Without rules or boundaries , you always follow your heart , and I love that about you ."
My heart crumbled when Felix opened up to Clover about about his dad 😪💔 I felt for his loss and I felt for her guilt. Clover is proud of her "heritage" and the Wind Dragons made her who she is and she's not afraid to admit it but at the same time she doesn't want people judging her because if it, so she hides it from both sides and I think it must've been tough to keep it from them and I'm grateful when everything comes to light and Felix accepts her wholeheartedly ❤
