What a really cute read!! I have never read anything by these authors but I definitely will be now. I finished this story in one sitting. Both the primary and secondary characters were so engaging you just couldn’t put the book down.

The emotions riding high throughout the series left me on the edge of my seat and pages couldn’t be turned fast enough. Jessa and Jackson journey from heartbreak to their happily ever after was utterly heartwarming.

This book is gripping and holds no bars with emotions. It’s a long journey for Jackson and Jessa. Buts it one that can’t be avoided. And thankfully we get to ride that train.

After being MIA for six years, Jackson returns to his hometown. When he arrives he gets a heck of surprise in seeing his ex-wife(or not) on his family farm, as the new owner. He decides to seduce her to not sell his family farm. But those flimsy emotions get in the way of his plan. What shall he do now?

It seems for Jessa, Jackson’s back and wanting to take everything from her. She’s bound to avoid his advances no matter what. But sometimes plans do change, right? Their new connection leads to friends and great storyline and concept. As a read I was able to connect with both of them. And decide that I will read the rest of the series, if there is one.

I received this ARC from NetGalley for an honest view. Thank you to them, the author and publisher.

Debut authors Jasmine and Arielle have delivered a fun, fast-paced romance novel that will keep you flipping, and flipping pages. Who doesn’t enjoy a second-chance romance novel especially when it deals with the kind of attraction that keeps you on your toes?

Jessa and Jackson have amazing chemistry and their story keeps you fervently reading, constantly wanting to find out what will happen next. I loved how hot headed and stubborn they both were, despite the magnetic pull they had towards each other. I really liked how kick-ass Jessa’s character was. A great mix of stubborn, sexy feistiness.

The only downside to the book was that I felt like the ending was a bit rushed. Overall, however it was a great read and Arielle and Jasmine have shown that they are talented authors who can pull you into their story... let’s hope Gigi and Hayden are next in the Fever stories (I definitely think there’s some hot sparks there!!).

ARC received from the publisher/author in exchange for an honest review.

Give Me Fever is a bit spicy, a lot sweet, and maybe just a tad...dirty. 😉 okay, so my pepper innuendo is a bit lame but this book has bite. With a sassy, spicy heroine to keep the heat up, it's no wonder the town is called Fever.

Give Me Fever checks a lot of boxes:
Second chance
First love
A bet
Enemies to....😉

Just a few of the ways to sell this book and that doesn't even include the heat. Give Me Fever is sweet, sexy, and just the perfect amount of peppers. I hope to see more of the family and townsfolk in the future even if I have to wait until next year's pepper festival.

3.5 stars

Jessa strolled down the roll pof peppers and snapping the ripe ones and put them in her apron. Endless varieties of pepper plants covered the land as far as the see could see. Jessa had grown them all. They were all hers and no one could take this farm - Twisted Flame Farm- from her. Jessa;s phone buzzed and she answered it after being asked if this was the office if Twisted Flame farm the person said she was Della McIntyre calling from Noveau Enterprises in NYC. Noveau Enterprises was Jenna’s biggest customer and belonged to her ex husband Jackson . She hadn’t talked to Jackson in six years. He had no idea she owned Twisted Flame farm which had been his parents farm. Also this farm produced the hybrid pepper s for jack’s Killer Cajun Ketchup the product that had made Jackson a very rich man. Jackson had inherited the farm from his father than turned right around and sold it to a stranger. Jenna had no interest in Jackson’s money only the farm. Jenna thought Jackson would follow her back when she had left him in N Y six years ago but he had never been back. Money and Power were important to the man Jackson now was. Jackson got tired of the no answer he kept getting when trying to talk to Jesse Watkins. So Jackson jumps on a plane and goes to Fever. Than he drove right to the farmhouse. A boy answers the door and says he works there. The boy is told by Jackson that he won’t leave Fever until he talks to Jesse Watkins. Zachariah/Zach is Jackson’s younger brother. And he now owns a bar. The hotel was full with reservations so Jackson asks of he can crash on Jack’s couch and he says he will have to help tend bar for the night. Jessa knew at seventeen Jackson would be the only guy she would ever love. Zach knew Jessa owned the farm but didn’t tell Jackson. Jackson blocked Jessa’s way as she tried to leave the storeroom and asked her is she spent a lot of time with his brother in the backroom. Jessa said your opinion must be low of us if you think we would do that. Not that Jackson wouldn’t deserve it if they did. When Jackson said he wanted to talk to her Jessa said he should have done that six years ago. The heat in Jackson’s eyes shot right through Jessa Jessa felt she wouldn’t survive another encounter with Jackson. She escaped through the delivery door. This one left her feeling like she was bleeding out. It felt like her soul had been lured from her body. If Jackson wanted Watkins she would give him Watkins. She was having her farm’s foreman-Hayden- pretend he was Watkins. Than Jackson found out he had never signed the divorce papers which met him and Jessa were still married. Jessa went to her lawyer when she found out when she got back Jackson was at the farmhouse JAckson was there and said he wouldn’t leave until she sold him the farm back. Jessa didn’t know she could feel this level of lust for Jackson still but with him so close and talking in her ear...Than Jessa touched metal on his hand and realized Jackson still wore his wedding band. Jackson had taken things too far. His plan had been to make Jessa feel uncomfortable and relent and sell to Jackson. But than he touched her and he remembered everything. How it felt to make love to her and how it felt to be loved and suddenly his emotions over toke him and he wanted that again more than anything. He never touched another woman while wearing his wedding band while in New York. He was fine alone . Jackson had worked so hard he didn’t even have time to think about needs. But now?
I loved this book. Another new favorite. This was a quick easy romantic read. I loved Jessa and Jackson together. Jessa should have talked to Jackson and maybe she wouldn't have left him. He just wanted a good life for them. I loved how Jessa stayed close to Jackson’s siblings and them to her. I loved the small town atmosphere of this book. I loved the way Jessa reacted to Jackson after six years apart after believing she hated him. I loved Jackson was willing to let go of everything for Jessa. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

The emotions riding high throughout the series left me on the edge of my seat and pages couldn’t be turned fast enough. Jessa and Jackson journey from heartbreak to their happily ever after was utterly heartwarming.

Having gonna MIA for six years, Jackson returns back home to Fever determined to purchase back his old family farm. Unbeknownst to him, the new owner is no other than his ex-wife Jessa whose not so much of an ex-wife anymore when he discovers the divorce papers that were originally sent to him were never signed.

Having less than one week to not only seduced her back onto his bed sheets but to convince her to sell him back his childhood home, conflicting emotions arise. Now that Jackson was back and determined to take everything from Jessa: her home, surrogate family and her belief that her life was full and complete, she's more than determined to fight their undying attraction and the place she calls now calls home.

The connection between the leads and the secondary characters, the fun concept and storyline we're far my favorite parts about the book. The reader is easily able to resonate with the characters and due to this, it was an instant hit for me. This was my first read from the lockhart and needless to say, I am impressed. I'm looking forward to reading their future works.
