I am sorry for the inconvenience but I had technical difficulties in accessing this book. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
I didn’t read the prior volumes and would have been better able to judge this one with the background.
I really enjoyed the artwork. It is what initially attracted me to this title.
The story is compelling but I think I would have been more invested in the characters if I had read the prior volumes.
All in all, I still enjoyed this and would recommend it if you like graphic novels with a manga style to them. This one has a lot to offer.

Writing a love story where hero and heroine don't manage to make it work in the end is an unconventional choice, but a brave one. And I am convinced that a cold shower of reality is needed from time to time, especially one that is so thoughtfully well plotted. The romance is slowly stifled by the differences in race, status, social expectations and life challenges but it ultimately cannot win against the desire to live life in completely different ways.
I congratulate the authors for a a story every couple should read to understand where they could go wrong or where may have already gone wrong in the past.
Simple drawings to complement complex subjects. Social unrest, feminism and personal angst. The characters are quite likable though they are living through relationship problems as well as idealogical differences.

I really enjoyed this, the story was lovely, I enjoyed the trials their relationship went through. Such likeable characters and well written, you could relate to the difficult decisions. The art work is beautiful and I’m a big fan of manga. I would definitely recommend this one to new and experienced readers.
