Confession number one....I love smut! If you love smut too then this will be an excellent read for you! lol The title alone lets you know what you are in for! Hello sexy doctor. Who would be more perfect than your nurse! It's a fun read full of sexy smutty passion!

Judging from the title and cover, I really didn’t expect much from this book, but honestly it was SO GOOD. I loved how fast paced and STEAMY this was the entire time. This is the perfect read during the summer/a vacation bc you will just have so much fun from start to finish and the main characters have amazing chemistry together. I definitely need to read more of Andrews’ works soon!!

This was a good, quick read. The writing flowed well, but there's not a whole to the story. Owen is staying with Stefanie, his best friend's sister, until his apartment is ready. After that, it's pretty much all sexy times. Not that I'm complaining ;) this is just not an in depth read. Over all, I liked it, and I would read this author again.

Dilf is one hot read! The author defiantly has a way for words and created one hot story between Owen and Stefanie.
Amy Andrews used so many romance cliches that I thought this could never work but I loved it. Between the age gap , best friends sister, insta love my heart was in heaven.
Owen wouldn't let a little age gap deter his love for Stef. He was committed in making a relationship work by showing off his skills. I don't think I read a hotter solo scene before.

Wow this one is quite the steamy read. Owen has had a thing for his best friends older sister since he was a kid and now they are sharing an apartment temporarily for a couple of weeks. You know where this is heading but it was so exciting and a guaranteed HEA.

read this one in a day. the characters were captivating, the story line was fun, and the book told the entire story without leaving anyone wondering at the end. Can't wait to read more from this author.

At first I thought the D stood for divorcee, but no such luck. It’s doctor, and in this case a newly minted male doctor in love with his best friend’s sister, who’s ten years older. She’s a nurse and they end up working at the same hospital, and he’s staying with her.
There’s some witty banter, but her inner thoughts are even better. The erotic scenes are top notch, moving from solo to shower quickie to a playing out a fantasy involving a giant dildo.
Worst part: seemingly requisite bad ex screws things up even without showing up. The angst was over the top. Too many changes of mind, considering it was a short book. Had a chance to get a higher score.

This was a very short and very steamy read. As with a lot of novellas, this one felt a bit rushed to me. And it was annoying that the main female character just couldn’t seem to make up her mind about the guy. One minute she thinks hooking up is a terrible idea, and the next she’s dragging him into a closet at work. I like Amy Amdrew’s writing, but this one was just okay to me. It felt like what it was, a quick erotic story.

4 1/2**** Stefanie and Owen HEAT up the pages. Really, this is a sweet story of a guy who has crushed on his best friend's older sister for 10 years. All he wants is a chance to make it a reality.

Owen was the awkward, nerdy teen boy who has turned into a hot doctor. Loads more confidence and ready to take on the challenge on showing Stefanie the man he is now.

Stefanie never paid much mind to Owen. Being 10 years older than her brother & Owen, she was a grown up for a long time. Now that her brother has asked if Owen can stay with her for a couple of weeks waiting for his apartment to be ready, Stefanie is getting a dose of grown up Owen. And, wow, how he has grown!

Great story, great characters and hot chemistry!

Watching the evolution of the relationship between these two was a treat.
This steamy romance is a roller coaster ride that will make you laugh, make you hot, and even make you shed a few tears.
This is a book about true love, making mistakes and fighting for what you want.

I received The D.I.L.F. for free through netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I found the book to be enjoyable. It was my first by this author. As someone who works in the medical field, I did not really find it completely realistic, but I will definitely check out more of her books in the future if given the chance.

An entertaining piece of escapist fantasy between a nurse and her younger brother's best friend who has just gotten a job as a doctor at her hospital. Although it was a brief novella, I felt connected to the protagonists, and it was definitely a steamy read.

I'm generally a huge fan of Amy Andrews, so even thought this isn't my favorite of her titles, it was still an okay read for me. The heroine is Stefanie, a 35 year old nurse who went through a really bad break up a year earlier. Her younger brother's best friend, Owen, is a freshly minted doctor and is about to start a rotation at her hospital. She offers to let Owen crash with her for a few weeks until his new place is ready. As it turns out, Owen has had a crush on her for 10 years---since he was 15 years old. Now he's 25 and is not going to miss his golden opportunity to get with Stefanie.

Mostly this book is just super hot. There's lots of inventive sex scenes, and so that was fine. But I'm not sure that their development to a couple is as convincing if you don't think that sex alone can make a couple what they are. It's written in 1st person present, which I personally find super choppy and hard to read, and I'm sad to say that it true for this book, too. They're just rushing around DOING things (mostly each other, heh) but the sense of contemplation, or them thinking about what their doing is mostly loss.

It's a very quick, very sexy read. But I think I prefer more character development than what I got here.

Stefanie has had enough of arrogant doctors but when she sees her younger brother’s friend again, sparks fly. This is a hot read with plenty of drama and loads of steamy. Owen and Stefanie have great chemistry and the story is entertaining. I liked it.

I really enjoyed this fun and very sexy read. I'd like an Owen for myself thank you very much. The scenes were hot and the growing relationship between Stef and Owen was really quite romantic. I was definitely hoping they'd work things out, especially Stef's hangup about being older than Owen.

This is a book that you cozy up to on a really cold night (well honestly any night) because it will warm you up!! Owen and Stefanie have a history but it is the present that is about to get way more interesting when they become roommates. Let’s just say the female population of the hospital is about to get very jealous of her.
Love the hot and sexy writing, just an overall great read.

I love with authors throw in humor in their books and Amy Andrews is very good at it! I hadn't read anything by this author before, but The D.I.L.F was not only funny, but it was cute, sweet and sexy.

I liked that the woman in this book was older than the man. I know some people have a problem with age difference, but I don't mind it. Plus I feel like when it is the reverse, and we get an older woman- it is a different dynamic than the other books out there.

I can't wait to read more from this author.

A sexy, fun falling-for-your-best-friend's-older-sister read! Stefanie may not care for the term "cougar" but this was a great, breezy cougar read.

Most older woman-younger guy reads tend to have the woman fixated on how old she is and it becomes a dull, angsty time. Stefanie totally owned her sexually. The sex positivity and honesty between Stef and Owen was refreshing and fantastic.
"Don’t worry, I haven’t been celibate. There are quite a few men in this town who’ve benefitted from me being exceedingly pissed at my ex.”

I like that she’s not ashamed to admit she went on a sex binge. I like that she’s comfortable with her appetites.
In fact, Owen likes just about everything about Stefanie. Despite Stef's personal pact against dating doctors, much less one that is her little brother's best friend, their relationship soon became a ping-pong match where Stef and Owen traded at speed whiplash sexual chemistry and innuendos.
"I want you to dial it down a notch. Maybe just use the shower, yeah?”

“If I used the shower every time I fantasize about you, your water bill is going to be astronomical.”
I liked both characters and I liked that they acted their ages. Stef may be trying to be serious about her future but Owen was acting just like a young guy in lust and love. His underhanded pursuit of Stef was so transparent and adorable.

Amy Andrews' rugby romances have been a favorite of mine, and now I'm glad to see her branching into new areas. Maybe more doctors and nurses?

What a fun hot sexy story. Owen is Stephanie’s younger brother best friend, he is also ten years younger. She has not seen him since one summer when she thinks all he did was stay inside and play video games. Now working as a nurse at St. Bart’s she is listening to the other nurses’ talk about the D.I.LF. When the Owen’s named is mentioned she just reply’s no big deal he is staying with me for a few weeks, and is my little brother’s best friend. She is also not wanting to date doctor’s since her last one cheated on her. Meeting Owen that night at the door is not the Owen she remembers, the man standing before her can have any girl, woman he wants. Owen’s problem is that he wants her and tells her that she shots him down from the start. Owen does not go down quietly and continually does things to rile her. It is not though until she sees him handle a code before other doctor’s get there that she decides to give in to his temptations. There were some out scenes before but now it really gets turned up especially when he comes out one morning and she is doing yoga, (downward dog). Now Owen is working on her and her issue with the age for he wants to be together forever, kids, house the works. She on the other hand thinks their age difference is too much. Read this good story to find out what happens.
