The author did a brilliant job of capturing the time period in this novel. The characters and plot were also well written. This was a great piece of historical fiction!

Terrific historical fiction and...wait for it...love story. I enjoyed this very much. Note that it's received lots of reviews and thus I have little to add except to recommend it to fans of the genre.

Wow, what a story,loved the way the book had a separate chapter for the main characters,helped to show there views about the events.
Good plot,lovely storyline,nice and easy read.
Will not spoil it for you just well worth getting the book,must be on your reading list,also a good read for a book club..
