I liked the premise of this story, but the delivery left me lacking. Aubrey and Cole get their second chance romance. And that was it. There was really nothing besides her showing up and him pretty much taking her back. That was it. Meh......

Love, Again is a beautiful, some what effortless second chance romance that you can't help but feel in your soul. This is one swoon worthy read. Aubrey and Cole are soulmates to the core. Even after years apart you can still feel the connection between the two of them. I love second chance romances. Aubrey is so sweet. Cole will leave you in a pile of goo. The adventure they go on is amazing and you see how it brings them closer. Sometimes going back to the start is what you need to do. I absolutely love Love, Again. L.P. Dover blew me away with her words. Go one click this one.

Aubrey was a good balance of serious yet funny, with a sweet down to earth personality I liked. However, Cole was about the same. He was also serious and funny, but I did think his adrenaline rush proclivities was a cute aspect of his personality.

But their personalities were also why I struggled.

I didn’t necessarily need or want OTT drama, but something more then easy acceptance? Um, yeah! Maybe I’m weird, but these two reminded me of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich-solid and sweet, but bland. They reverted back to how they were before they split up with minimal...actually no real fuss. I kept expecting something to happen! If I were Cole, I would have needed a therapist for anger issues over being dumped the way he was!

I liked the book...and I didn’t like the book. I liked Aubrey and Cole, but found them to be...meh. They did and said all the right things, but it came across like a habit, not true feelings. I just wasn’t invested enough for their HEA. Frankly, Aubrey’s bestie Emilia, and Cole’s brother Bennett captured my attention because they stood out more with their passionate personalities and budding romance in a way the main characters lacked.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

it was amazing

Another amazing book...
I truly loved this book from start to finish. ALL. THE. FEELS!!!
Aubrey Reynolds and Cole Haywood were high school sweethearts and were all ready for forever. BUT sometimes forever takes a bit longer to get too.
I am not going to give away any spoilers, but know there is a lot of heart break and tears will be spilled. I promise this book will be loved

Love, Again was such a fun read for me! It was a sweet, low-angst, second chance love story that gave me vibes of my FAVOURITE movie Sweet Home Alabama.
Which is so funny because a few months ago, I was BEGGING readers on a Facebook group to give me some recommendations of books that were similar to Sweet Home Alabama. As soon as I finish this review I'm going to find that post and let everyone who was following/commenting know about this gem.

Aubrey and Cole's connection was beautiful and well written. I liked all of the characters, main and secondary - I loved the interactions between them all.

I really enjoyed reading their second chance at love, although the story didn't have enough conflict for me. I'm not sure if it's a me problem or not but I felt like the story was lacking in areas. There became a point where the story just kind of stalled and I was waiting for the "bomb" to drop. Like running "what if's" in my head and then nothing happened - it just kept slowing going and just ended.

Love, Again was about Aubrey and Cole's second chance at love.

After medical misdiagnosis, director Aubrey makes and fulfill a bucket list. She ultimately also wants to try to rekindle a romance with her ex Cole who she hasn't seen 10 years.

While the story was good, i felt like the story was rushed and it was very predictible.

I read this e-arc via netgalley and random publishing house. All opinions are my own.

This book brings all the feels! I very much enjoyed this story- L.P. Dover had me in tears several times!

Aubrey is a hotshot director in Hollywood whose fame brings limited number of true friends. Back home in Oklahoma is where her heart remains- back where friends are family and love never died. When Aubrey has a health scare she reflects, reviews and rewrites her life. That takes her back to her first and only love Cole Haywood.

Cole was devastated when Bree left, but he didn't go after and he's regretted ever since. Now she's back and he's ready to fight.

This was emotionally written with love. I couldn't help feel a part of Bree and Cole's story and the love they missed, found and reignited. So sweet! The cast of characters in Dustin Valley are fun and I loved Cole's family.

Love Again was an emotional second chance romance. Aubrey and Cole were high school sweethearts and about to be married before Aubrey moved away to pursue her dreams in Hollywood. Following a medical scare she finds herself longing for what could have been and missing Cole something fierce.

Sometimes two people are just truly meant to be, and that seems to be the case with Cole and Aubrey. I loved these characters, along with Emilia and Bennett. I loved the story line of a famous lead character going back to her roots.

I read this book in one sitting. It is a fairly even read in that there isn't a lot of drama or angst, but I do not in any way feel like this took away from the story. An engaging beautiful second chance story that I definitely recommend.

Loved Cole and Aubrey! This is a second chance romance. Aubrey gets a wrong diagnosis by a doctor friend. And it makes her realize that she was missing out on life. So she leaves her Hollywood directing job behind to fulfill her bucket list. One of the main things on her list was her home back in Oklahoma and the man she almost married. Can they find their way back to each other and finally get their happily ever after? My only complaint was there was no bumps in the road, but sometimes that is refreshing.

***I was given an ARC by Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.***

This is Aubrey and Cole book, Aubrey is a big time Hollywood director and Cole is the small town fireman she left behind! They were childhood sweethearts and grew up together and were about to get married! But Aubrey made a promise to her deceased parents she would try for the big time and get out of their small town! Cole didn't want to hold her back so he let her go! When a routine blood test comes back as positive for a could be deadly outcome Aubrey is shocked to her core! She has to make amends with Cole! She has a big bucket list of things she always wanted to do and Cole ends up going with her! It was nice to see all the beautiful places that they went some sounded amazing!!! I do looked forward to this book! I just love ms Dover! But this book was very smooth going! Like nothing at all happened! It was a little boring I guess idk but if your looking for a nice nothing goes wrong light read this books definitely for you! Thank you Netgalley and penguin random house publishing for sharing this book with me!

After a false medical misdiagnosed, Aubrey is more than ready to set her life on track by creating a bucket list. Traveling to West Coast to Seattle, going to a fair to taste some of the world's best bucket of Sweet Martha’s cookies before finally heading back to a place she hasn't seen in ten years, home. The lead heroine finds the strength to fight her demons and regretting how she left her ex-fiance and first love Cole, she's back to ask for his forgiveness and to make amends with everyone she left behind.

“Love Again” is a second chance romance and as much as I love these type of series, there was little to excitement to this one. The scenes, characters, and storyline were more than boring and I had to force myself to skim a few more pages before dropping it like it's hot by chapter 14 at 47%. Not enough excitement nor was the plot developed enough to keep me intrigued. Sadly, this just wasn't my cup of tea.
