This was an ok read. I didn't love it, but I didn't dislike it either
I liked that Julianna and Wright are each finding their lives at a crossroads. It opens things up to the possiblity of them finding love with one another again. Parts of the story did feel a bit clunky, though. Like how the party Julianna plans for big donors in their state is a toga party. It felt a bit ridiculous and unbelievable since Wright is hoping to get back into political fundraising.
While I do like her written I'm just not enjoying it like I use to .With that said I don't think she's the author for me any more, so as as right now I'm sad to say that I'm DNF her books
Juliana returns back to the Cooper ranch after disappointments in New York to find Wright Cooper returning after a failed political run. Old feelings flame with these two being together again.
The last brother in the Brothers of Cooper ranch series finds his love.
Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks . Opinions are entirely my own.
I would like to thank Leslie North for writing a brilliant ending to the Brothers of Cooper Ranch.
Wright Cooper is a go getter in the political world, but when the man he's endorsing is caught out, he goes home to lick his wounds and finds his ex-sweetheart Julianna Norrell there. Julianna Norrell is a woman who's life was taking off in the art world, but when an article saying that she's in copyright infringement and no gallery will touch her and then finds out her mother has broken her lg, she goes back to Cooper Ranch with her tail between her legs. Can Wright Cooper and Julianna Norrell work together to help each other or will their love for each other get in the way?
All will be revealed in the final installment of Brothers of Cooper Ranch.
Sometimes your dreams are short term when you realize what you always wanted was standing right beside you. Julianna’s return to Montana brought back every feeling Wright had stored away. He has loved her for years and silently stood by while she chased her dreams. Now, she back where she belongs and while he has to shift the focus his life has taken he wants her right back where she started. Beside him for the rest of his life is the only dream that matters.
Like with all of this authors novels. This was a fun romance with cowboy's if you love cowboys or romance in general, I would highly recommend this author to you.
Dreams lost, dreams remembered and rediscovered.
Sometimes going home and what you left behind us rediscovering your true hearts desires and loves.
This is a sweet nurturing, deep love, happy ever after ending romance.
The third book in the series has two former young lovers finding each other when they are both searching for their own identity in the big fish bowls that they associate with. Julianna has come home to Montana since her mother broke her leg. This turns out to be a good time. Her photography career started and was ending almost at the same time because of copy write infringements. The person she did not want to see Wright Cooper, she sees almost immediately and the jerk actually looks better than he did when she left years ago. Now she is looking at a man who is trying to find a cause to put his money and time towards. The politics of the State wants his money but nothing else with him or anyone he backs. So now the two of them are finding each other and the way it was before she left for NYC. Will she stay though? Just when you think she will he goes and tries to fix and control her life all in one grand jester that I can only say fails horribly. Now he must get out of his own way if he wants any chance to win her heart. Read this wonderful story.
Sexy sexy Leslie North writing that I literally can NOT stop reading. I enjoyed this one. Fast and furious romance anyone can enjoy!
Leslie North sure knows hot to pack a full sexy, steamy and romantic story in this book. “The Cowboys Stubborn Sweetheart” hits it straight outta the gate, with all my favourite things wrapped up in one delicious book. Totally recommend
A big thank you to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the third book in a series, but reads well as a stand alone. I liked it but didn't love it. This is the story of Juliana a photographer and Wright who is trying to overcome a fundraiser scandal. I rate this 3.5 star. I found it to be a little different but still a fun quick read.
Cowboy! Love me a good old cowboy story. I was drawn in. Must read. This author can do no wrong. Really liked this.
This author ever fails to disappoint for a HEA and some lovely couples. Wright was an all-round good guy who’s heart is in the right place. You can’t help but love someone like that.
THE COWBOY’S STUBBORN SWEETHEART is the third story in Leslie North’s the Brothers of Cooper Ranch series… and it is a bittersweet reunion of former sweethearts who moved away from each other to their dreams only to have them fall apart and return to the ranch once again.
While both Wright and Julianna have been dealt unfair blows to their respective careers both are stubborn and determined to pull their lives together again. Wright returned home to the ranch, Julianna returned home to help out when her mother was injured and couldn’t work.
At one time they had loved each other, but their dreams took them in far different directions. Julianna to New York City to pursue her dream career as a photographer, Wright to stay in Montana and help his state by becoming a political fundraiser. When they both had their dreams ripped from them, through no fault of their own, it’s time to come home and regroup… they hadn’t expected to see each other again or for the love, they believed buried to be brought back to life.
THE COWBOY’S STUBBORN SWEETHEART is an emotional story of accepting what life tosses at you and rebuilding, even when that means changing your path. I liked both Julianna and Wright, they are both stubborn and that plays into their story quite well. If you enjoy a second chance romance with a few twists, intriguing characters and a message of hope no matter how bad life looks… then you’d enjoy this story. I’d not hesitate to recommend any story in this series.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.
The last Cooper brother finds love! Wright finds his high school girlfriend is back and taking over for his housekeeper.
It was interesting watching them struggle as they both had setbacks in their life and careers. At times it was annoying that they were so set in their thinking that they felt that they had to keep doing the same thing instead of trying to branch out in a new direction.
Also, Wright again tries to set up Julianne with a New York gallery. That was the same thing that caused their previous break up and he thought this was a good idea??
Fortunately, they both wake up and see they are not going anywhere as they are stuck in a rut and decide to try something new. After they figure out their own issues, they finally get their HEA.
The third book and final book in the Brothers Of Cooper Ranch series, The Cowboy's Stubborn Sweetheart was a fabulous conclusion to round out this series. Wright and Julianna were great characters and the story had me engaged throughout. This is definitely one I recommend you add to your read list
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This was a wonderful story. I adored Wright Cooper and Julianna Norell's story. I haven't read the other stories in this series and it wasn't necessary in order to read this one. I read this story in one sitting. The book was written in my favorite dual POV format. It really helps me as a reader to understand the characters' thoughts versus their actions.
These two were perfect for each other and were really trying to help each other but not really getting much success. I was totally enthralled in this story and recommend it to anyone.
He must really be out of things to do.
I could never work for the government.
Wish I had a generous boyfriend.
Oh-ho, she carries a lens cloth for his glasses? Someone's not over their old boyfriend.
She's good at this party thing.
Hey now, some of us are polite!
Jeez, man, have some backbone!
He doesn't get women, plain and simple.
Don't mess with soccer moms.
Julianna Norrell has returned to the Cooper Ranch to take care of her mother who is the housekeeper for the Cooper men. This was not what she planned as she had been living in New York City to promote her photography. Now due to an unforeseen disaster with her career, this was a good time to help her mother and reevaluate her life. Wright Cooper is working through the same type of issues as the candidate he was promoting for governor was found to be embezzling funds from the campaign. His world has fallen apart and he seems to be taking the blame for the candidate and has become a pariah in the political arena. Wright is back at the Cooper Ranch to reevaluate his career and is thrilled that Julianna has returned to town…and to him? Wright and Julianna have always been attracted to each other and now they will join forces to get their lives back on track. My only negative critique would be that I felt Wright spent too much time obsessing about his loss when with unlimited funds he could have moved on to something sooner. Although I enjoyed the first two books more, I thought this was a pleasant addition to the series. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to give an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)
If I can focus solely on the chemistry and love between Julianna and Wright it was sweet, romantic, hot and meant to be.
The other elements of the book (party that bomb, party that was the bomb, and the fuss over bees) she or wasn't my cup of tea with honey.
