Oh my.....This was another great one by this author. Who doesn't love a boss/worker romance. Add in the evil stepsister and the rest of the supporting characters and you have a recipe for a great read.

Enticing the Boss is an entertaining piece of erotica. As is typical in Novella format, the balance of story/passion/and character development is a little off. The story itself is entertaining, a little friends to lovers with the addition of a villain. I actually thought the most developed character was the villain. The hero and heroine dont need much back story, as they have been coworkers for a long time. That makes it easier to launch right into the story. All in all it was a quick, sexy read, and I will read more from Lily Bly.

A charming sweet romance book that will make you fall in love with the characters. Steamy sexy smoking hot romance book. I couldn't put it down.

Meandering plot, annoying characters with no motivation, and no emotional investment. The hero was an oblivious jerk and the heroine was a doormat.

This was a pleasant quick read and I found myself rooting for Jean and her boss who was engaged to her very horrible step sister. The story built up very nicely and the ending was satisfactory.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read the book in exchange for a honest review.

Jean Price has been in love with her boss David Shep for six years, there’s just one problem, he’s engaged with her evil step-sister. Jean has scheduled a vacation to coincide with the happy couple’s engagement party. As she is about to leave she finds David in his office scrambling to come up with a pitch for a prospective client who will save the failing company. Jean reluctantly agrees to help and is overjoyed when she finds out the engagement is over.

Things heat up over a long weekend and David finally sees what’s been right in front of him. The new relationship is tested when Jean’s step-sister makes her presence known.

This book suffered for its length. There is too much going on in a short space of time and everything is rushed. Its saving grace is the steamy sex scenes which are a scorching read.

I received an arc of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Great start to a new series. Jean has been in love with her boss for years but he has been engaged to her evil step-sister until now. As they begin working together on a project, sparks fly, but can he trust her? Fast-paced read with lots of drama and emotion. I really liked it and look forward to more in the series.

Enticing the Boss by Lily Bly is book One in the Passion's Price Series. This is the story of David Shep and Jean Price. Jean has been in love with her boss David for several years but her evil step-sister is the one that was engaged to him. When she finds him down and out due to a job issue and that her step-sister has broken up with him, Jean goes to help him. Which leads to a hot encounter for them..but is it enough for a future. This was a quick hot read.

A very entertaining book about work, family and love. Mix Misunderstandings with medaling family members and you have a fun book to read. Add in a few steamy scenes and you have a good story.

If you are looking for a quick and entertaining novella, this is it!

Jean has worked for David for years. She is always there to support and help him. Too bad he ended up engaged to Jean's evil stepsister.

As David is dumped and his wedding is no longer to be, Jean makes her move during one weekend when they are working on an emergency presentation. This is when the "fun" really begins. Fasten your seat belts and get out your sage smudge sticks to divert all evil from her stepsister!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the publisher for sharing a copy with me.

Jean checked the backup software running on her computer and switched off the monitor. She told herself Shep and Son will survive without her. She had never taken a vacation since she had started there six years ago but she is now. Her vacation was an act of vacation not an act of avoidance. The awesome ski package and flight deal just happened to coincide with david’s and Beth’s engagement party. She would have went and done all the right things if the vacation package hadn’t popped up. She would be leaving Monday morning with her brother George and her niece. Jean had been infatuated with David who was her boss for a long time. Jean had grown up with her step sister beth who was really mean on the inside. Beth was also engaged to the man Jean wanted and she wondered if that was to hurt her. But David was taken now. Jean worked at Shep and Son and it was struggling. The publishing house had catered to the new and different from it’s start thirty years ago and they had managed to head off most of the digital market troubles, but this past year had been rough. That could change Monday with the pitch to Frederick Donelson . a billionaire lately come reality tv star who wanted to publish a series of books about his wild life experiences. He liked them and they were in the running to sign him to a seven book dealJean noticed the light on under David’s door when she was going to leave. She was going in to turn off the light but instead saw a devastated David in there. He said Beth had broken the engagement. He was all work no play and boring. David added after his father’s stroke he took on so much more- he’d been having trouble handling it all. He thought Beth had understood David’s father Edgar had been kind and a mentor to her , for all of them at Shep and Son. david admitted he hadn’t got very far into Donelson’s manuscript. The needed this man to sign with them. Than Jean took off her coat to get to work. She texted her brother she wouldn’t be going but gave him the trip information. George emailed back not to do this to herself . But jean didn’t see any other choice. David had originally wanted to be a carpenter - his grandfather had taught him . But his father demanded he come into the family publishing business. After working all day and night they had a presentation for Donelson .demanded they go to breakfast.. David said he loved her and Jean blew up about loving him for six years and having to help the office plan his engagement party to her stepsister. David ended her tirade with a kiss and they had sex in the restaurants bathroom. Than david took her to his place to have anap. She thought about all the times Jean had saved his butt. Jean was smarter than him and far fiercer at the conference table. Than while Jean and David were getting out of the shower Beth showed up to tell Davis his father had died.
I liked this book n=but things went way to fast. David’s engaged to Jeans step sister than they end up having sex after a hard long weekend of work and than he declares his love for Jean. He tells beth he ex fiance he was with jean now. Just didn’t make sense to me as far as the time frame went. I did like the plot but this should have been a lot more spread out. So as you can see I had mixed feeling about this book.

I did enjoy reading this book, but the plot wasn't too original. Personally, I think the plot was really predictable and some occurrences felt really unrealistic. Also, the character introduction could have been a little bit more elaborate. At first I really was struggling with figuring out who was who, and who was in the relationship with David. The ending was absolutely enjoyable, I genuinely laughed out loud. Also, the epilogue was really cute.

Jean had been in love with her boss David for six years, who just so happens to be engaged to her wicked evil stepsister, Beth. When the wedding is called off, David finally realizes he had fallen for the wrong sister after spending the weekend with Jean to meet a deadline of a major business deal
The lead heroine decides to jump, heart first, to showcase her feelings and win him over. But once Beth catches win of what's transpiring behind her back with her ex-fiance and the sister she never wanted, will their love be enough to stop her wicked ways?

With that being said, let's roll this in with some of that oh so instant loooooove! There was nothing much to brag about the over content. This series was a quick, easy read filled with some juicy scenes. If you're just looking for something quick to past the time, this is the series for you
