#DreamingOfTuscany #NetGalley Romance, sunshine, Hollywood glamour, beautiful Tuscan scenery (although personally I prefer Umbria!) and a big soppy dog - what's not to like, in fact I didn't like it - I loved it!! I was taking a break from reading my usual crime/phycological thrillers whilst I was on my own (!) and this book really ticked all my boxes. Light hearted, funny and extremely sad in places (I needed my tissues!) this was a lovely book to read from start to finish. I have never read any books by this author before but I will certainly look for more in the future.

When I have a new novel from author T. A. Williams' in my tbr list, I know I'm in for a sumptuous treat - and I'm never disappointed.

Beatrice wakes up in a hospital with no memory of why she is there; discovering she's been out of it for several days comes almost as big a shock as the injuries she has sustained. When the film company she has been working for offers a summer of convalescence in a secluded villa in the Tuscan countryside, with a top Hollywood star for company, Bee realises it will give her the time and space she needs to recover. It's not until she gets there that she realises the people will play it's part too.

This is a delicious read; I doubt anyone could read it and not dream of spending a summer in these wonderful surroundings! Of course, it would have to include this author's trademark black labrador - in this novel, Romeo, who exhibits every single trait of this wonderful breed. The story has lots happening and is a delightful read. The setting is idyllic and the luscious food descriptions make me want to rush out to my nearest Italian restaurant. The complete package is, as always, a wonderfully written novel which left me with a sigh of contentment and a warm glow. I must mention the book cover which gives a hint of what's to come inside; beautifully created and makes me long for summer to arrive. I'm already looking forward to the next offering from one of my favourite authors! No less than five plump, shiny stars will do.

My thanks to publishers Canelo for my copy via NetGalley. This is my honest, original and unbiased review.

The glamour of Hollywood. The magic of the Tuscan countryside. One big decision...

I love T.A. Williams books and I generally pick them up in between psychological thrillers for a bit of light relief. Usually, there is sunshine (apart from Dreaming of Christmas which is self explanatory!) and that's what makes Williams books even more addictive. Sun, sea, beautiful locations and a great main character or two.

What can I say about this book? It's perfect for a light hearted read. The descriptions of Italy in general were fantastic, the Tuscan Villa just beautiful and the hot summer walks really transport you to the time of a heatwave.

Publication day is tomorrow! (11th February 2019). It looks like this book is only going to be available on Kindle (according to Amazon) similar to his previous books, and at the moment and it's just £1.99.

I have loved every book that this author has written. Fantastic storys, real romances, and doesnt feel the need to litter the books with sex scenes just for the sake of it.

This is about Beatrice who is an historian working on a film and she is involved in a serious accident on set. The film makers send her to a remote villa in Tuscany for 3 months to recover as long as she agrees to go with Mimi, the lead actress in the film who was also injured in the accident.

Over time they form a loving friendship and both women fall in love.

A genuinely lovely story that i would happily read again.

I liked this sweet, heart warming and entertaining book.
I already read other by this writer and I was looking forward to reading this one.
I'm happy i required it because it was a good reading experience.
The cast of characters was interesting and relatable (I loved the dog), the setting was amazing and described without too much tourist-brochure style as it often happens with Tuscany.
I like the style of writing and it was very good in this book.
I look forward to reading the next book by this author.
Recommended!
Many thanks to Canelo and Netgalley for this ARC

A charming read, with much more depth than I expected. Bee and Mimi end up in a Tuscan villa, seeking anonymity after an accident. Mimi seems to be an anti social celebrity and Bee initially spends much time on her own. The author paints a glorious picture of Tuscany and easily transports you there. Bee revels in the countryside and the companionship of Romeo a dog that she befriends. She really finds herself, makes lasting friendships and a meaningful relationship. A very enjoyable book, will look out for more by this author.

I requested this book to read and review. I loved this book Dreaming of Tuscany by author T.A. Williams. This is the first I have read by this author but will definitely look for their work again. I thought this book was going to be completely about romance. Their was that in the book but it was much more about happy with who you are. Self confidence was a big part of this story and it was great. It had mystery in there as well. And friendship from someone you may have never thought you could be with. And how sometimes the most unlikely friendship ends up being long lasting!! You will love the characters Bee, Mimi, Umberto, Luke, Romeo, Ines and a few more that you won't want to miss meeting! I recommend this book to any type of adult reader!!

ometimes, you need to read a certain book that transports to a certain time and place and makes you feel calm. I wish the villa at the centre of this story was real as I would be on the next flight out. If it made me feel as happy and relaxed as it did in the novel ,imagine its healing qualities in real life!

The setting is always the strong point in TA Williams's novels but the stories are equally captivating and the characters heartwarming too. I enjoyed reading about the ill-tempered celebrity and the good in a crisis Gayle. Bree and Mimi start to have a good relationship and it was nice to be part of that.

The villa where they end up is remote and in the middle of nowhere. Fictional, yet TA Williams brings the scenery and the setting to life with his luscious words. He evokes the sights, sounds and aromas of that region well and I could feel the sun on my face as I imagined i was there too. Bree has to adapt to country living, well they both do. They go walking and explore the area which is when I slowed down myself and took time to imagine I could see what they could.

I'm even tempted to get a dog now that I've met Romeo. A dog brings people together and makes for some funny moments and I wasn't disappointed in the slightest.

It's charming, war-hearted and just the kind of book I needed when I started it. Characters are fun and well written, Very clear to see as they come alive from the page. I had a lovely time in Tuscany and would love to return!

I wonder where TA Williams will take me next!

I have to start by saying that this book has a very different base storyline than others I reviewed recently. Bee has had an accident and she is having to come to terms with it and recuperate. She is ushered into seclusion in order to achieve that sole purpose. The intricacies of this are better left for the pages to expand on.

The tale is about Bee and the friendships she forms, and the new-found joy in life and the summer she spends in Tuscany. I think there was so much content in this story that I would have actually liked a slightly scarred representation of the woman in the cover to suit the tempo of the tale. The place that Bee is hiding in has a dog, two interesting men who supposedly do not talk to each other and one of them doesn't talk to anyone at all. Then there is the other person sharing Bee's seclusion who turns out to be very different from what she imagines her to be. All in all, it has the best ingredients for a book of this genre. It gives us the highs and lows and the general growth of the lead character as well as all the people we get to know in the process. The problem though was the narration  itself felt a little abrupt for me and I did not get as involved as I would have with the people. This usually is just a personal problem and it has happened before. I do recommend this to people who like this genre because of some of the more unique twists in the tale.

Bee was on a shoot when she was injured along with the main star in a freak accident on set. Left with scarring on her face and loss of all her hair she is off balance and undecided what to do next. An offer of a secluded villa in Tuscany for as long as she wants chaperoning the film star who was also injured looks ideal and spot on. The star in question is reserved and moody but Bee takes on the challenge.

In Tuscany the villa is idyllic, the setting amongst Tuscan forests far removed from the imagery of Tuscany promoted for the tourists and Bee settles in very well. There are very few inhabitants in this remote part of Tuscany except for a manager of the estate and a few others.

How friendship develops between the off hand star and Bee and how romance develops resulting in a complete change for Bee is this story. A light hearted fun read in a beautiful setting which is very descriptive, makes you want to get to Tuscany at the first available opportunity.

Personal Review:
When I saw that TA Williams had a new book coming out, I really wanted to read it. Thankfully someone at NetGalley/the publisher fulfilled my need. This book was super cute, and can I mention Romeo the dog? (**Heart eyes!)

I loved the setting for this book and the characters. The book kept me flipping pages throughout wanting to know what would happen next. I was really grateful for the opportunity to go on this journey with Bee and read this book. Thank you for the opportunity.

Disclaimer: I was awarded this book on NetGalley from the Publisher. Though I did not pay for the book, the opinions are strictly my own.

A sweet novel about two women healing in glorious Tuscany. Bee and Mimi could not be more different- in age, experience, life style- but they both find themselves injured and coping with changes in their lives. What better place to do this but a villa where things just seem nicer. There's a romance, of course, with Luca, who has his own issues to deal with. And, there's a dog- Romeo (of course!). Thanks to net galley for the ARC. Perfect for beach, a rainy afternoon, or travel.

5 Stars
This is a sweet, easy to read, romantic book. It is such a happy relaxing, sit by the fire or lounge on the beach, kind of read.
Bee (Beatrice) and her colleague Mimi are set to an isolated villa in Italy after being involved in an accident at work. This accident has left them both scarred and injured. However, help from the staff and a certain estate manager, Bee's confidence begins to come back. She learns about the troubles and secrets within the villa, also learning about peoples past, and how it can hold them back, if they let it.
Really enjoyable, easy read.

This was such an entertaining, romantic read! Thank you to the publisher for the eArc via net galley. This book made me want to travel to Tuscany immediately, and perhaps just as much to have a unique roommate like Mimi. Williams depicts a swoon worthy romance with lovely characters amidst a dreamy backdrop — this is the perfect summer/vacation read. Looking forward to more from Williams!

It is always a pleasure to sit down and be absorbed into a new T. A. Williams book and I'm delighted to say that this was no exception.

i loved every moment of this well written book, from its amazing descriptions of the Tuscan villa, the surrounding area, Italian food, a gorgeous man, beautiful scenery, to the fledgling friendship between Bree and Mimi.

Bree is a history specialist, and Mimi is a famous film star, and with the exception of the film they had both just been working on, the only other thing they have in common is that they were both injured in a freak accident on the film set. Which leads to them recuperating together in a remote Tuscan Villa.

I loved seeing how Bree adapted to life in the countryside, and the scenery on her many walks was really vividly described. And her regular companion while walking around the huge grounds, is Romeo.

Romeo is adorable, handsome, loyal, a huge fan of Italian food, and a fabulous companion for Bree, as he knows his way around really well. Of course Luca his owner has all those same qualities too and he and Bree seem to be on the same wave length about most things. Oh and Romeo is in fact the trademark of a T. A. Williams book, a black Labrador!

I really enjoyed every moment of this book, and would have loved the story to continue for longer, as i wasn't ready to leave these characters behind.

Thank you to Netgalley and Canelo for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

This is the second book written by T. A. Williams which I've read, and it won't be the last! Dreaming of Tuscany is a wonderful story. The description of the Tuscan countryside is amazing. I loved all the characters, the story moved along at a good pace, and the ending was more than satisfactory. The friendship between Bee and Mimi was nicely done, as was the romance between Bee and Luke. Romeo's antics made me smile (Romeo's a dog by the way). Add in the historical facts, Bee's ex-boyfriend re-appearing, the troubles between Luke and his father, Bee's accident and the fallout from that, well . . . Do you know? I was going to give this four stars, but I think I have to give it the full five.

With thanks to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I can't tell you how much I absolutely fell in love with this book. It was heartwarming, an easy and very enjoyable read. I fell for the cover as soon as I saw it, the picture even looks hot! I love the beautiful flowers, the villa in the background and of course the really cute labrador at the front of the cover. This cover screams summer and will instantly make you want to go on holiday. I absolutely adore it.

For the story, I really loved it. And I mean, really, really loved it. I really enjoyed Bee's character, she seemed sensible but very easy to relate to and I adored her relationship with the famous Mimi by the end of the novel. Another character I found myself warming too was the brilliant Riccardo, I really felt for him - he had been through so much in his life and I was happy with how his life turned out in the end. And of course, I loved Luke (or Luca) and his dog Romeo (who was possibly my favourite character ever), every character was just lovely and I very much enjoyed reading about their blossoming relationships.

The storyline was fantastic, Bee woke up in an Italian hospital after she was involved in an accident on the film set she was working on, as compensation the company invited her to spend a few months recuperating in a beautiful Tuscan villa in the middle of nowhere. Bee automatically falls in love with the place and the people who love there, and with one more than the others - Luke the estate manager. As the days get hotter, Bee realises that she doesn't want to get into any sort of relationship, leaving her heart breaking at the prospect of leaving Luke in Italy.

The storyline gets better and better as the pages go on, and whilst nothing huge nor significant happens, it's still just a beautifully written novel and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Thank you to Netgalley for a chance to read this novel, which I have reviewed honestly.

A 'feel good' read from T.A. Williams, set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, a gentle tale full of empathy and humour. This, and indeed any book from this author's series of books, is guaranteed to leave the reader smiling. A genuinely lovely read.
