I sure do love a ranch setting, and this one featured a cowboy and the cook to boot! They are both charismatic and their chemistry is undeniable, but what to do when they have far different goals in life? Turns out they just need to work through their individual relationship issues in order to see that love is worth making some compromises and realize what the truly important things are. I felt like these characters were both genuine and had great personalities. It was fun to read their journey to a happily ever after.

This is my first Cathy McDavid read, and it certainly will not be my last. From start to finish, she had me hooked! I quickly fell in love with her characters. They are charming and witty, and so full of life that I felt as if they were right beside me, their story playing out in front of me. I don't know if I loved Ryan more or Bridget, but I do know that both characters were chiseled beautifully and left me cheering them on! Seeing them try to overcome their obstacles, watching them come to terms with their feelings was fun and I couldn't get enough. The plot line Ms. McDavid creates is captivating and worthy of 4 stars for sure! I definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading more of Ms. McDavid's work.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.

This was a wonderful story. There were some funny moments as well as poignant ones as well. I was completely charmed by the Sweetheart Ranch and the people who owned and operated it. Ryan comes to the ranch to try and get a job to help with his living expenses. His capitol is tied up in his fourth renovation project of flipping homes. He meets Bridget who is the chef of Sweetheart Ranch and the granddaughter of the owner. There are instant sparks between these two. Ryan was to be more financially secure before settling down. Bridget has a list of 12 non-negotiable requirements for her future husband. Ryan doesn't make the list in any way shape or form. This journey to the HEAs is filled with many ups and downs (more downs than ups actually.)

I adored this book. It really shows the everyday person and the struggles that they face and how they overcome to find their HEA. It was a true joy to read as the characters and the plot were so realistic. Having a dual POV really helped me to understand both of the characters and their stand on what they wanted. Without that, I don't think I would have been able to identify with either. This was so enchanting that I was sad to see the book come to an end.

I highly recommend this book to anyone.

Ryan enjoys flipping houses and while working on the house he's helping out at the Sweetheart Ranch as a wrangler. Bridget has standards when it comes to relationships and has a list shes going to stick to until she finds the right guy she's not going to bother but can't help but find herself attracted to Ryan. He doesn't match what her list requires but that doesn't stop the obvious attraction that's going on.

This was such a cute contemporary romance. I thought it was interesting seeing how far Bridget was letting her list mess with her love life, she made it for a good reason but rather then let it be an open suggestion she wanted to follow it to a T and it became a hinderance. I liked seeing that romance blooming between Ryan and Bridget both really liked eachother but had their own things going on and you can't help but root for them to be together. It really was a cute book and I really enjoyed it.

Sweet, heartwarming, and smile inducing! These three words pretty much sum up this book. I adored it! The Cowboys Perfect Match is everything I needed in a cowboy romance. A tough cowboy with bad boy tendencies and a heart of gold, a strong woman who is willing to take a chance (even if it takes her a little while to warm up to the idea) and an adorable and swoony romance!
