I struggled to engage with this one. I found it poorly structured - the chronology seemed pointlessly all over the place. It didn't really flow well, the action was a bit clunky and the dialogue was stilted. I also found the characters a little clichéd. The author has an annoying habit of having the character say out loud what they'd just said as internal dialogue which made certain sections quite repetitive.

A well-written plot with unexpected twists. The plot has been written with enough technical detail to make the storyline believable, but not so much that it detracts from the tale.
Definitely well worth the read as it is a great book.

An up-to-date topic, a suspense plot, nice, well developed characters, types, and yet individuals - not bad for an IT corporate manager turned into novelist, I‘d say. Maybe the epilogue is a bit long, and the end is too visibly meant to say „Go, and buy the sequel“, but all in alI enjoyed reading The Blackstone Conspiracy. Not least, because it was excellently translated into English by Andrew Baggaley. Since Netgalley provided me with the English version, I read it in addition to the French original, and loved it.

This is a well-written story with crime, politics, and AI. Interesting characters, welcomed unpredictability including twists, and good dialog made this a fun read for me. Look like there will be more from the author, which I look forward to. Recommended for fans of tech thrillers.
