Shadow Warrior by Christine Feehan is definitely another great addition to the Riders series. The action packed story of Vittorio, Grace and her "brother" along with the tension that's building between the Ferraro and Saldi families kept the pages turning. I very much enjoyed this story. The Shadow Rider series is one of my favourites by Christine Feehan and Vittorio and Grace definitely delivered from the first page. I liked how the two personalities balanced each other and the way they faced their challenges head on.
There was a lot of foreshadowing for Val and Emme and Nicotta and Taviano (I think it was him, I always struggle with character names), at time a little too much for me as it took away from the main couple. I also found the feud a little heavy-handed and if the Ferraro family is supposed to be so smart why did no one see what is happening?
Still a great read and I look forward to the rest of the family.

Christine Feehan does it again. This latest installment of the Ferraro Crime Family has a great plot. This is Vittorio's story. He is gorgeous, sexy and dangerous as are all the Ferraro family. When he comes across betrayal in the family club and casino he investigates in time to see a woman being sold to the family's enemies in the back parking lot. He rescues Grace and the race is on to save her and avoid a devastating war between the families. Add a ruthless, crazy serial killer to the mix and the Ferraro's certainly have a lot to deal with. Vittorio recognizes Grace as his true mate so the serial killer must be stopped before he can get to her.
I really enjoy the way Ms. Feehan includes all the family members in her novels. She does this with all her series and it's one of the reasons I love her books so much ... no one is forgotten.
I will continue to be a loyal reader of her amazing series.... can't wait for the next one... in any of her series!

YIKES! What a wild ride of a story!! As the 4th in the Shadow Rider series, there are definitely aspects that follow the formula set up such as each of the brothers and their proclivities, the whole riding the shadows and keeping it secret, family (almost mobster-ish) mentality etc. But, those are also the aspects that keeps one coming back for more.

The thing that really sets this installment apart and makes it stand WAY out is the unique, scary and kinda creepy storyline with Grace’s “brother”. Eeek! Ms. Feehan did a bang-up job of creating a character and a situation that is both riveting and nighmare-inducing. Which made the overall story one that just can’t be put down!

The romance area was a mixed-bag depending on what one enjoys. Readers who love scorchingly steamy, borderline kinky, pages (and pages) of long sex scenes (almost to the point of overwhelmin the whole) will absolutely adore this romance. For those, like myself who are more interested in a romance that builds emotionally rather than sexually and prefer the story aspect of a book, will get a bit frustrated with all the pages that must be skimmed or skipped in order to continue the plot. Totally a personal preference.

SO... personally, as a plot-centric reader, the incredibly rich basis for the series, added to the extremely creative and creepy storyline in this book was well worth skimming the parts I didn’t need.
