Forever and Ever, Amen is a good fit for readers interested in personal stories of resilience, recovery, and the transformative power of faith in overcoming adversity.

One of my favorite country singers and this book shows how even a star has their own issues and struggle. what Randy has went through with his life and health is a renewal of faith.

This memoir was a heartbreaker for me. It was hard for me to reconcile the book as autobiographical because I know that he is disabled now and not a great communicator. I was always curious about his choices, like marrying a woman so much older than him when he was so young. I didn't realize though., that he came from an abusive household and went right into another one.. I just didn't understand how much control she exerted over him. This book was sad because Randy TRavis was clearly so damaged and so taken advantage of. He had a remarkable talent, and I hope he lives out his life in peace. I am happy this was written with his permissions, not posthumously, and the writing was goodm, but I think third person, as a biography would have been more effective for me.

Thank you Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC in exchange for my honest review. This was an enjoyable book.

I have loved Randy Travis as long as I can remember. I never knew about many of his struggles, though. I love how this book is a story of perseverance, resilience, and happiness.

I think this would be a great fit for any Randy Travis fan. While I was familiar with Travis and his music, I didn't know anything about his personal struggles and successes. He has certainly lived an eventful life.
Thanks to Harper Collins and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I have always loved country music and Randy Travis has been one of the many artist I enjoy listening to. This is his autobiography/memoir and it felt as though he was sitting beside me, telling me his story.
This is his story from growing up in North Carolina to after his stroke. While reading, I learned some new things and found out some stuff I thought I knew was just rumors and so wrong. He didn't have an easy life, but with God's Grace, he has survived.
Thanks to Netgalley for the Kindle Version of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is Randy Travis's story in his own words. I found this tale fascinating and learned a lot of things about Randy that I never knew. If you are a fan of his, then you should definitely pick this one up!

This was so fascinating to read.
Audiobook is narrated by Rory Feek and he gave excerpts as the story went on which was cool to hear his insights.
Randy Travis is a favorite artist of mine and I’ve enjoyed his music for quite a long time. He dealt with a lot in his life and it was so interesting to hear about those struggles and how they’ve made him into the man his is today. I thoroughly enjoyed this memoir.

I found this memoir to be disjointed. Through his music, you would have never guessed all that had happened to him. He takes stock of his life and in a way shows how he allowed people to take advantage of him. No one is perfect, and this book reveals that Mr. Travis accepts the facts of his life. He was able to battle back from a stroke with support of family.

I love Randy Travis. When I got a chance to read his autobiography, I jumped at it. It was an interesting book on his career, a bit of growing up and some medical issues.

I grew up with the music of Randy Travis and was beyond excited to have the opportunity to read his autobiography, which, of course, brought a welcome dose of nostalgia. I did not know much about his life prior to reading though I was certainly familiar with his music. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys country music and wants to learn more about one of the greats.

I absolutely love seeing this side of Randy Travis.
I've been a fan my entire life--quite literally as far back as I can remember--and so having this insight, well, it's more than I thought possible.
He's had an interesting life, seeing his journey, the struggles, the triumphs, it really gives a glimpse of how he became so BIG.
His music will forever take me back to those special times spent with my grandmother. Seeing him perform will Always & Forever be something I hold dear.
And Forever and Ever, Amen will always be a top song--and book--from Randy Travis.

Reading this was like listening to a Randy Travis song. A little comforting, a little heartbreaking, and highly enjoyable. I've been a Randy Travis fan for years and I loved this look into his life.

I usually don't like to read biographies but Randy Travis has had an interesting and busy life and I enjoyed reading about his life. The ups and downs. The failures and successes. He shared a lot of details of his family life and career. He was acquainted with a lot of the music artists and friends to many of them. If you like biographies.. you will like this one. It's full of details of the personal and not so personal kind. A little to detailed for me, it was easy to put down but when I finished it I was glad I had. Interesting life he's had!

I’ve alway loved Randy Travis. Growing up I would listen to his music.
I was excited to be granted the chance to be able to read and review this book.
It was heartbreaking. It made me sad to read this. I didn’t realize all the awful things he went through.
I will always be a Randy Travis fan and his music will always be some of my favorite.

This book was unbelievable, I knew randy travis for a few of his song my mom would listen to while i was growing up and a few movies my dad loved to watch. Its always awesome to find out more things about people you come to care about. This book pulled on my heart strings a couple times, almost brought me to tears, because I remember the times mentioned from music shows. I definitely recommend this book to people that what to find out more about randy.

Almost to hard to read as a fan
From a voice that seemingly could stop an entire audience to such a troubled soul behind the skin
The price of fame is often just too high
Well done story of heart ache and break

I grew up hearing the distinct sound of Randy Travis on the radio and cassette player. I truely enjoyed reading the detailed account of all the joys and heartache behind the music. I was reminded no matter how 'good' a person appears to have it, we all struggle to one degree or another.
I greatly appreciate the story ends pointing to Jesus.

Randy Travis is one of my favorite performer's. I greatly enjoyed reading his story and getting a look into the life of this country music legend.
