I didn't know about Mo or his business before reading this book, but I am so glad that I did! It is an excellent example and role model for students that they can accomplish things even at a young age. As a mother and a teacher, I recommend this book.
This fresh concept in children's entrepreneurialism is in line with inspiring young people to not wait in pursuing ideas. We see this in JoJo Siwa brand as well. Multicultural children and teens may see that if one young man can find success in his gift of fashion, then they can too.
I can’t honestly say where I had seen or heard of Mo and his Bow’s but when I saw his book I knew I had and I knew I wanted to read his story. I am so glad I did! Moziah Bridges is full of enthusiasm that transfers from his personal life, to his business to his first book, Mo’s Bows: A Young Persons Guide To Start-Up Success. His book is mainly for the middle to high school grade student but if I said I did not get anything out of it I would not be telling the truth.
He measures all business aspects against his “BOWS of Business: Believe in (your)self, look for Opportunities to give back, Work Hard and to look for Support from friends and family.” Pg 148
Mo took his business from the school yard to an NBA contract all before the age of 18. He really does not only believe in all aspects of his business plan but he puts it into action and has succeeded himself. He also breaks down business plans step-by-step so that anyone on any level can get their start.
I enjoyed reading this how-to book for kids by a kid. Mo’s positive energy flowed throughout the book and made it an easy and enjoyable read.
Thank you Netgalley for the free ebook in exchange of an honest review.
