DNF I could not get into this book. I just didn’t liked it, lots of inner dialogue. I didn’t really like any of the characters and the plot didn’t seem to go anywhere.

I loved this book! Not only is it well written with great characters and a nice pace but the story is fun and completely entertaining. It's a wonderful friends to lovers (well boss and employee) story with a nice slow burn to the romance. There's lots of witty banter and flirty fun making it a great relaxing read. I highly recommend this one.

Loving this series and this book did not disappoint! There is a hint of suspense, worry, doubt and sexual attraction. Great story line, grabs you from the start and holds you tight. The characters have wonderful connections and interactions throughout. A must read!

Charming, engaging, and fun!

Nothing But Trouble is a passionate, workplace romance that introduces the hardworking, fiery CC, a young woman dedicated to her job but ready to head out on her own and start anew, and the confident, magnetic Wade, whose past has left him wary of the idea of forever and not too eager to risk his heart once again.

The writing is amusing and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are gregarious, spirited and lovable. And the plot sweeps you away into an original, irresistible, push-pull storyline filled with witty banter, honest emotion, shameless flirting, palpable chemistry, light drama, swoon-worthy romance, family, friendship, and community.

Overall, Nothing But Trouble is a fabulous, entertaining read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It has a wonderful cast of characters, a unique and steamy storyline, and a happy-ever-after ending that will not only leave you smiling but anxious to read what will happen in Credence, Colorado next.

Nothing But Trouble is trouble for any beating heart. Amy Andrews made that sure with her powerful writing. It engaged me hundred percent from the first page. It was sweet and sexy with just the right kind of heat and heartbreak. It put a smile on my face and ache in my heart!

Wade Carter, the superstar ball player is back to Credence, his home town to help his family after his father had a heart attack. And his loyal and dependable PA , CC has to tag along him on a last journey before she quits. Before the confines and meddling of the quintessential small town, they were content with their Boss-PA-friend role. And now the chemistry is hitting them on face. And things are about to become very very complicated.

I love Credence with all it's quirks and crazy personality. It is a character itself and I loved meeting all the distinguished citizens. Wade is the perfect combination of a bad boy ladykiller and a true gentleman. It sounds hard but this man with body of a beast and a golden heart surely pulled it off. And I am girl crushing hard on CC. She learnt her lessons in hard way and she is the sassiest, smartest and softest woman you can imagine. She is lethal in her no nonsense attitude. And their chemistry is burning hole in the pages. It was intense, sweet, mindblowing amazing! I loved each and every second.

Amy Andrews has scored a big win in Nothing But Trouble. It was funny and witty. It was sexy and intense. It was wrapped in all the small town goodness. The story soothed me like a relaxing perfume and excited me like an adventure.

It was cute...but fairly predictable.

I enjoyed reading how Wade completely changed when he went home, especially seeing how much he cared for his family.

A few things I didn't like...it was very repetitive. Some of it was beyond boring. It didn't really pick up until the last 25% and then I couldn't put it down. The side romance with Wade's brother felt very out of place. We have entire chapters from his POV in which our main characters aren't even mentioned. It felt like a last ditch effort to throw some additional content (i.e. pages) into the book for additional payment.

Overall, not bad.

CC has been the assistant to Wade a former NFL quarterback for five and a half years, being at his beck and call 24 hours a day. She is at her breaking point after listening to another girl crying over him. She turns in her notice, but then he gets a call that his father is in the hospital. She agrees to help him for 3 months just till his father is back on his feet, and he finishes writing his memoir.

Moving back to his hometown provides a lot of changes, the way CC sees Wade in a more state, sets something in motion. They bicker and fight but also can't seem to stop thinking about each other. The town also seems to be lacking in women, so they decide to set-up a committee to bring women to the town. This part could have been really cheesy but it was actually pretty funny, and I wanted to read more about the newcomers. Just a good cast of quirky, fun characters!

I absolutely loved this book! This is my first time reading an Amy Andrews book and I can say without a doubt that I’ll be binging on her other books.

I loved the banter and humor. I loved the side story with Wade’s brother. I freaking loved the romance! But most important, I loved the writing style. Such a feel good book.

A must read!

Nothing but Trouble is the first book in the new Credence, Colorado Series by Amy Andrews, and this book gives me all the Two Weeks Notice vibes, but SO much better than the movie! Sorry to all those who love Hugh Grant, but he gets on my nerves in this movie, and being British, I'm allowed to say that!

But I digress; In this book, our long-suffering PA is CC (aka Cecilia Morgan), now only is she fantastic at her job, but she manages to deal with the man-whore of a boss, ex-NFL player Wade Carter. Now Wade is not a bad guy, he just likes women but isn't cruel or hateful of them, and he is also a really big family guy, so when his father was rushed in the hospital with a heart attack, he was right there! And when he decided to move to his Gone with the Wind monstrosity of a house for a few weeks to help on the hog farm that is father and brother run, he was also there! But he was surprised when CC handed in her notice and tried to get out of going to Credence with him! But as in all things with women, Wade got his way, but CC has a lot to hide, and she just hopes she can survive her notice, without spilling her secrets.

This book is awesome! It is seriously one of the best light-hearted romances I have read in a LONG time! I love the chemistry that all of the characters have with each other, and I spent half my time laughing and half my time crying! It is the perfect romance for all seasons and I'm truly looking forward to the next book in this series by Amy Andrews.

My first book by Amy Andrews, but not my last. Not only do you enjoy the main characters, but what a great cast of supporting characters. She truly takes you through all the emotions and in the middle of this love story are just great characters. I loved how CC wouldn't take Wade's macho BS and got to really know who he could be. A great read of small towns romance.

CC has been Wade's personal assistant for over 5 years. She is there for whatever he needs, whenever he needs it. Just when she's ready to leave, Wade convinces her to spend a few months in his hometown of Credence, CO while he finishes his book.

The book and characters are charming and I loved the small town. Both Wade and CC have very distinct voices which works well with the dual narration.

Approximately a third of the way through the book the story changed and added a plot point that threw me a bit. It involves the town of Credence and their efforts to keep from dying out. I liked the humorous moments it added, but there are a couple characters I wish had gotten their own book instead of being occasionally added as a second story here.

The author did a really nice job introducing a number of characters who live in Credence, and I am looking forward to seeing how their stories play out next.

This was a good slow burn story. CC has been Wade's PA practically catering to his every whim, including moving with him to his home town of Credence so that he could finish writing his memoir. Somehow from Denver to Credence, CC and Wade's relationship takes a turn. As they start to view each other differently his home town embraces CC and she begins to think of Credence as home.

This story was cute, very realistic and totally chuckle worthy. The shenanigans of Wades friends and family will bring a smile to your face and the ending is very feel good. I will be keeping a lookout to see how the rest of the Credence men make out.

This is my first book by Amy Andrews and the blrub sounded promising. I actually liked most of the book Wade and CC were an interesting pair. This had a boss employee romance going on. Wade a famous ex pro NFL player had to go back to his small hometown. He brings his PA to go with for the summer then she can resign. Funny thing is Wade relies on CC alot, CC knows him well attuned to him. They have a lot of chemistry as their working relationship.

Being in a small town they grew closer in other ways than work. There was a lot going on the the small town, they want to grow the town's female population so they invented this ad. So thia segways into Wade's brother Wyatt's love life and the other bachelors in town. Here's where it gets iffy for me lots go on in between CC and Wade external stufff. Then suddenly all that tension turns into physical that they brush off. The physical stuff is hot but emotionally not feeling it, they kept denying it.

I get the point CC wants nothing like her parents dependent relationship and all but I just don't get them. They can't seem to be honest and spit it out I got so frustrated. Wade seemed clueless about it all and CC is confusing and stubbornly set in her mind. Then suddenly mWade realizes his feelings right attm the end which didn't make for believability. Itjust went downhill for me. This had promise and I would probably read the other books in the future.

I can’t wait for the next books in the series!

Personal assistant Cecelia (CC) Morgan is nearing the end of her six year contract with her boss, former quarterback Wade Carter and trying a to find away so that he would let her out of her contract early so she could move to California when she left. Wade was attempting to write his memoirs and when he needed to move to his hometown of Credence, Colorado to help his brother with the family hog farm while his dad recovered from receiving a pacemaker so he told CC that he would let her out of the contract if she went with him.

CC and Wade take a long time with their relationship from working together and when CC has to go to Nebraska for a funeral, Wade realizes that she means a lot more but Wade still screws it up until he uses his memoir to make her believe him.

I love how Amy Andrews wrote about Credence, Colorado because there aren’t many authors that can show a small town and make you really feel like you are there in person even though the fictional Credence is a lot larger than area that I grew up in. I can’t wait for the other books in the series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Amy Andrews is a new author to me but after reading Nothing But Trouble I will certainly be checking out her previous books.
CC Morgan has focused on her job and the man she works for former NFL quarterback Wade Carter for the last 5 and a bit years but it’s coming to the end of her six year contract and she can’t wait, she is looking forward to new beginnings and she certainly won’t miss the sending of flowers and explaining to woman why it’s Wade and not them ....... her boss is not looking to settle down and up till now he has left it all to CC to explain once he has loved them and left them.
Wade needs to head home to Credence and he insists CC needs to go as well and that’s when the fun and games really begin, this is when Wade realises he can’t be without CC and where CC falls in love with an untrainable puppy and a piglet.....
This book has it all. I laughed or should I say snorted out loud (Sorry piglet), I swooned and I loved the residents of the small town of Credence. The characters have depth, the banter flows and I can’t wait to read Wade’s family members and the other residents stories because I’m sure they all have a tale to tell. I really enjoyed this funny read and I recommend it to all lovers of small town romance as well as romantic comedy lovers.

It was good quick read but it just wasn't for me.
I liked the small town setting but I think Wade was way to dependent on CC and there was somethings that even a PA shouldn't have to do. I did like the humor in the story too

Light, entertaining, fast moving, heart-melting small town romance. Wade is an ex- quarterback who has built a life after. CC is his overworked PA. She is tired of 24/7 everything especially ending his latest hottie. He's trying to write his memoir. She wants to retire to California. Wade decides to go home to Credence, CO, population 2000+, very few young, single women, and where he is treated like just an ordinary citizen. He's going to work on the farm in the mornings and write in the afternoon. CC is must and talks her into going with him. His mother and the town decide they need to advertise for young women to move to Credence. CC gets involved. The town advertises and busloads of women come for a weekend in Credence.
Amy Andrews writes a fascinating read of small town feeling, family love, family heartbreak and much more. Nothing But Trouble is well worth your time. You will get caught up in the story quickly and want to put it down. Find out if Wade and CC work out that that they are more than just employer-employee and does the town of Credence get new blood.

Filled with quips of hilarity and wit. Wade and CC take the the long build up to a relationship. There are great characters in the story that add extra layers of flair and depth to the plot. Looking at romance from the perspective of the different generations was interesting and sometimes funny. Both CC and Wade had to learn a lot about who they were and what they wanted before they could see that what they needed was each other.

I have been on a roll lately, finding some excellent romances that have interesting characters and well thought-out plots. Nothing But Trouble is the latest that fits the bill. Wade is a former pro quarterback; CC has been his PA for the past five+ years. It’s a trope that has been used many times (the boss finally realizes feelings for employee), but this story seemed different to me. One thing that made this book stand out is that the romance doesn’t take center stage; it almost occurs in the background as other events occur – I loved this aspect because it allowed me to get involved with the plot and other characters, which made the story more interesting. I especially enjoyed the plan for Wade's hometown. The counterpoint sub-story of Wade’s brother Wyatt was well done and touching. All motivations and character actions seemed natural, and the events were enjoyable to read. I highly recommend this book. Please see my blog at firefliesandfreekicks.com for a more detailed review.
