Just getting a taste of Meet Cute is torture! I’m so excited to read the rest. Helena Hunting is an instant read for me every time. She’s an amazing storyteller and I can’t wait for Meet Cute to be shared with the world.

Okay I just read the first 4 chapters of this book through here... So far, it’s probably a 4ish star book, but I’m definitely down to continue this story. I love hate-to-love romance and the law firm setting is so fascinating. I love mega-smart ladies. I’m also so excited for smart, family oriented male MCs. Let’s go!

After reading this extended preview I need to find out what happens between Daxton and Kailyn - because I just know something will! I love romance novels with a little bit of drama in them and this one fits the bill. Daxton and Kailyn meet in law school and quickly become rivals. Daxton throws her under the bus to get ahead in class and Kailyn never forgives him. Five years later they meet again in Kailyn's law office after tragedy strikes Daxton's family. I'll definitely be picking this book up so I can find out whether Kayilyn helps Daxton , whether she ever forgives him, and whether they both give in to their attraction for each other. I just need to know!

What started with an embarrassing “Meet Cute” in college turned into a not always friendly rivalry between Kailyn & Daxton in law school. Some five years later they awkwardly meet again when she is hired to draw up a trust fund for his sister Emme. Interesting characters, dubious intentions & flickers of romance made for an intriguing & amusing introduction to the story. I wasn’t ready for the preview to end & will be finishing the book when it’s published.

I really enjoyed this preview!! Can't wait to read the entire book! I hope it continues to be as excellent as this part I read. Funny set up , awesome characters.

This preview was great! I am intrigued by the characters and what will happen with Daxton. I am also interested to see how him becoming a guardian will go. I cannot wait to read the rest when it comes out!

I was given an extended preview and I devoured it. I enjoy Helena Hunting's writing and this story from the little I read has me completely hooked and eagerly awaiting it's release. She always manages to capture you from the first page. This is going to be an anticipated read for sure!

The extended preview is enough for me to be upset when it cut off! Kailyn is a trust lawyer with a connection to the once adored actor Daxton Hughes; they went to law school together, and Daxton screwed over Kailyn to get to the top of the class. Now Daxton needs Kailyn to help with a custody issue regarding his 13 year old sister.

Kailyn is a complete goof when it comes to Daxton. Their "meet cute" is incredibly embarrassing for her and she can't seem to help but be embarrassing every time they run into each other.

I cannot wait to finish this book!!

As soon as I saw the adorable cover and intriguing synopsis for Meet Cute it was on my radar and added to my to-be-read list. While I only had the opportunity to read the extended preview of the book, this little teaser accomplished the job that it set out to do: it made me want to read the whole book. I knew that Helena Hunting would be able to pique my interest from the get-go and leave me wanting more. I am looking forward to delving deeper into Kailyn and Daxton’s relationship.

I don't understand why I put my self through this preview. I cannot wait to read the rest of Meet Cute. Those first 4 chapters told me that I'm am going to love this. I'm so disappointed in myself because I knew better! I can't wait to find out and see how Dax is going to be at being a father to a 13 year old. I can already tell that Kailyn is going to be awesome as well. Patiently waiting on April to arrive so I can finish this gem.

The premise is really cute! A sort of enemies to lovers with a dash of teenage superstar crush - which I love. It seems a little weird that Kailyn has all this distrust toward Daxton built up from the past eight years, yet she still is just as obsessed with his old TV show to the point that she is drinking out of a coffee mug with his face on it and having regular binge-watching date nights with her friend.

The aunt is up to no good and wants access to the trust fund which is what frustrates me about Kailyn's immediate conclusion that Daxton must want his sister's trust fund. All stemming from the fact that he seemingly sabotaged her chance at being top of the class. Little bit far fetched for me, but I like Helena Hunting's books so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and wait to make my final judgements until reading the entire book.

This extended preview was soooo good!!! I can't wait to read the full book. I always love Helena's romantic comedies, and I also love when she throws in some more serious storylines. which she has definitely done here. I'm excited read the full book and get to see what happens next for Kaitlyn and Daxton!

I just quickly finished reading the extended preview of Meet Cute. I am interested in the storyline and will definitely want to read the rest of the book when it comes out. However, there is very little detail on the characters. It seems like a lot has happened in these first few chapters and i don’t feel as though I know the characters too well. Obviously I expect that to change with the rest of the book. Sad I have to wait to finish it!

Interesting start to story, was a little difficult to elicit any romantic spark except for some fandom between the protagonists when they first met.As the book goes on though you see a change in emotions and now I'm anxious to finish the novel.Good read so far.

I only got a preview of this book, but I will definitely be finishing it once it comes out. My only disappointment is that I have to wait two months to finish. If you like romcom books, this is definitely for you!

In the preview Dax experiences some major life changes, and hopefully they cause him grow up a bit. Kailyn is a nervous fan-girl that's trying to let go of a grudge while keeping it all together. I can't wait to see how these two characters develop through the story and where they end up. I will will update my review once I've read the entire book.

Thank You Netgalley for a preview of this book

I read the extended preview of Meet Cute. Meet Cute is a romantic comedy about a former childhood actor, Daxton Hughes and a former fan girl, Kailyn Flowers. The two share an embarrassing moment - well embarrassing moment for the fan girl - their first day of law school. Soon the two become friends and rivals until one betrays the other. Eight years later, Daxton needs legal help from Kailyn. He has become legal guardian of his teenage sister and is in over his head. Can Kailyn put her bias aside to help her former friend?

I must confess that this is the first time reading the author’s work and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I went in with a clear mind and was pleasantly surprised when I began reading the Prologue. It was brilliant. I didn’t expect to laugh out loud so quickly. I had tears in my eyes! The rest of the preview has me really intrigued....a childhood actor who becomes a guardian of a teenager, a fan girl with a reluctant crush, an aunt who is acting suspicious and a conniving boss.....There’s so many ways this could play out. A definite three star rating with potential to be way more. I look forward to reading the rest when Meet Cute releases.

Helena Hunting can always be trusted to write sweet and funny reads, and Meet Cute is no exception. Kailyn, an attorney, met Daxton back in law school. An actor in his youth, Daxton has been the star of many of Kailyn’s daydreams, and she embarasses herself fangirling over him when they meet. Over time, they become friendly rivals in law school, competing for grades. But when Daxton betrays Kailyn’s trust, she closes her heart to him.

When Kailyn and Daxton unexpectedly reconnect 5 years later, sparks fly. Can these two work through past issues to create a future together? Meet Cute has a great friends to enemies to lovers feel to it, and while there are some heavy topics addressed in the book, there is also a lot of humor and a light-hearted feel.

The prologue didn’t especially grab me, but I like the prospect of a friendly rivals history - I’d like to read more of that if there are flashbacks. The extended preview seemed to suggest there wouldn't be much more of that unless Daxton does end up moving to Kailyn's firm.

Felix's discussion with Daxton about the accident seemed really forced. Why would he be the one to do it? Wouldn't the police call first and say they needed to speak to him? How would they know to go to his work?

I did find it odd that everyone thinks Daxton's not going to be able to take care of his sister — he is her brother, and he is 17 years older than her, it’s not like he’d be completely incapable. Linda is obviously in it for the money - that's obvious from the start, but good hinting that she's weird in the writing.

I had no other criticisms, it was an enjoyable read and great writing, I look forward to reading the book when it's out.

I need to read Meet cute! Like, right now!!
For someone who hasn't read the book, I adored this extended preview. Daxton and Kailyn are gonna have an awesome chemistry. I can feel it. Counting days till I get to read the whole book!

I'm beginning to have a thing for extended previews because color me intrigued and this short snippet had me asking questions of what next? Would Dax step up? Would Kailyn let go of the grudge she's been holding and what next for both of them?
Thanks Netgalley for the snippet, now, for hopeless romantics like me, can we have the full story please?
