An insightful work that will bring new perspectives for people interested in the wonder of the human mind.
This felt as though it was written for the very beginners and the ones who do not know anything. I didn't enjoy reading it so I didn't finish. I didn't enjoy the tone of the writing. I liked the design though. And the rituals doesn't sound like rituals...
I wanted to like this book, but it just didn't do anything for me. I get that the 21 rituals are to be followed and then you'll achieve some enlightenment, but I was rather bored by the whole thing. I wish it was a little more in-depth, or actionable.
I love reading about intuition. This is something I really need to build on. Good tips. Thanks NetGalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review!
This little book is intense! As you read it, the 21 small things that you can do seem obvious and so powerful. I didn't expect such a reaction of out reading this, but I was impressed with its power!
I always hear about intuition and I am always curious to learn how to develop mine. Theresa presents easy to understand rituals that really do help put you in the mindset of feeling more intuitive. If you are skeptical about intuition this is a good book to start your journey with.
I enjoyed this book and it was written in an easy format, I think it would have been better as a hardcopy rather than as an e-book though.
Some of the ideas I had heard before others not and they had some good suggestions. However some of them I felt may not help for example having the coin to flip for decisions could cause people to become too reliant on it and may exacerbate issues. However this book is about forming habits and on the whole I thought they were good.
Thank you to netgalley for an advanced reader copy.
I'm coming up to a sabbatical at the end of May. I have skimmed this book and worked out that it's going to be so helpful to me during this time. The first, and most important is the detachment from technology. Tricky when I read on an iPad and do so much screen time - will be a great way to detach and bring back some control into my life. The rest will then follow. Thank you - this book has arrived in my inbox at the most perfect time.
This book was too simplistic and full of common sense ideas for me. Nothing really new or earth shattering in this book.
This was a thinking title. I enjoyed the amount of research that had to have gone into creating such an interesting read. As I struggle with creative blocks and actually listening to myself, it was a study in what I need to change and put into practice.
I really enjoyed this book. It made it easy for someone beginning their journey of harnessing their intuition. The rituals themselves are simple and powerful, without feeling overwhelming or complicated. I would recommend this to anyone looking to further their spiritual practice and learn to listen to that voice inside them.
This book was OK. A lot of these things are common sense. I'm sure this would help people who are in different stages of their life though.
I don't think I'm the target audience for this book. As a highly empathetic person who is already tuned into my intuition, I found the tone of writing a bit condescending. The author is anticipating a reader who is skeptical about these techniques, which I find odd. If someone is reading this book, why not assume they are ready to jump into this journey and address them as such?
There is a lot of information and content in each section. There were a few helpful tidbits, but they were almost lost in unnecessary anecdotes.
I will add that part of my dislike of this reading experience was related to the formatting, which would hopefully change before publication.
Great self-help book written is an easy format. I could transfer a lot of advices to my calendar and create great plan for 21 days. I like recaps on the end of every section. Some of the ideas are simple and fun but some not so much. I like challenges, so I will definitely start the 21 rituals to ignite my intuition.
Really enjoying the simple yet clever rituals to include every day. Each night I read the next ritual and add it to the next day. One would think it would get cumbersome to tack on 21 new things to your life, but some of them are also eliminating other things. These activities will sort out some of the fluff so that your internal world is clearer and you can tune into your own inner voice. I look forward to each new excerpt - doing a new little thing every day feels like achieving bigger goals with minimal effort.
The book was full of good information about intuition and learning to use it, and I quite enjoyed the stories and quotes. Although I did find the rituals a bit disappointing and uninspiring. I was hoping to feel really motivated after reading it but it just didn't speak to me. It will probably be perfect for many other people and the rituals will resonate with them too. It is well written with a nice warmth and honesty. Thank you
