I love Lucy Kincaid! a kick-butt heroine full of compassion, fear, and strength. This story adds depth to her character as she deals with officers that don't want to work with her to solve a crime that turns out to be bigger than expected.

Lucy Kincaid is back on the case tracking a possible serial killer in Nothing to Hide, the newest Lucy Kincaid novel. With ultiple vixtims and no clear connection, Lucy must work with local law enforcement to stop a killer before he strikes again. In the midst of dealing with the case, danger strikes close to home with Sean and her stepson. Can Lucy solve the case and help Sean keep her family safe?

I have read all of Allison Brennan’s books and enjoy each new one more than the last. In this installment, Lucy seems a bit more mature and realizes the value her experience brings to the case. The books begins in the middle of the case and introduces new characters while including some old favorites.

I just really enjoyed this book. It was just really easy to get lost in this book. I just couldn’t get enough of it and didn’t want it to end. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

Great story, well developed characters. There were a lot of twists and turns and I loved the suspense of the whodunit as well as the storyline from the second plot. I have read Allison Brennan for a long time and I love her writing although I did feel that at times in this book there was too much detail given. With that being said, I can’t wait for her next book.

I received this ARC of Nothing to Hide by Allison Brennan from NetGalley in exchange for my fair and honest review. I have read quite a few of the Lucy Kincaid series but not all, this one can be read as a stand alone book, although I do feel it would be better to have read the earlier books to have a better understanding of Lucy's past. As ususal Brennan's books are well written, have good characters and she carries the storyline through to completion. In this book Lucy is in search of a serial killer, working with a police officer who from past experience doesn't have any use for the FBI. Eventually they do forge a halfway decent working relationship. This book will keep you guessing and the pacing of the storyline was well enough that I didn't lose interest. I would certainly recommend this book to any that enjoy Brennan's book, or enjoy reading books dealing with the FBI and how they work to figure out the culprit of crimes.

Action packed, edge of your seat suspense! This series just gets better with every book.Lucy is up against a serial killer and her own partner. He has been burned by the FBI before and wants her help.Sean is trying to deal with guilt he feels from not keeping his ex safe.Jesse is trying to help a friend from making a huge mistake. Just when you think you know who the killer is your thrown a curve ball and your totally wrong. Wickedly Twisted!!! Thanks to NetGalley and St Martin's Press for providing me a copy of NOTHING TO HIDE by Allison Brennan in exchange for my honest review.

As always Lucy and Sean are amazing together but this time she is going to have to work to win over a colleague. When she is called in to help in what looks to be a serial killer and his/her spree the Sheriff she has to work with doesn't appreciate the FBI's involvement and so he's not playing well with others. Lucy is going to have to keep her temper in check and make sure she changes his mind but first she has to find out what happened.

As Lucy is working her case Jesse and Sean are still learning each other and it can be difficult for them to communicate. When Jesse becomes involved in something that gets him hurt Sean must over come his fear and become the parent that Jesse needs. Lucy helps that process along. But you have to read because Jesse is now involved in something that could get him killed.

This is a great book with alot going on and it's pretty amazing. Action, mystery, and danger make an exciting read.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Nothing to Hide
By Allison Brennan
April 30, 2019

Allison Brennan offers us Lucy Kincaid, #15, in Nothing to Hide. I have only read one of the Kincaid series so I am not certain that all have two plots that are closely followed throughout. As it begins we find Lucy Kincaid investigating the murder of Julio Garcia, executive chef. The FBI has been called in by the San Antonio County Police Department. Detective Jerry Walker, is chief investigator for the department. He has put in numerous hours trying to solve the first two murders by the serial killer and feels that the FBI stepping is planning to take over and push him out. In the meantime, Kincaid’s husband Sean Rogan and his brother, Kane are working to disband a local gang trying to regroup The leader’s brother is one of the boys staying at St. Catherine’s.
This journey is filled with detail and suspense on both investigations. At times it is complex with heavy duty crime drama and filled with page-turning, edgy, tension. I thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to pick up more of the Lucy Kincaid mysteries by Allison Brennan. Nothing to HIde is due to be published on April 30, 2019. It is published by St. Martins Press of New York City. I appreciate their allowing me to read the galley copy.

This is book fifteen in the Lucy Kincaid series and can be read as a stand-alone. The beginning of the book was easy to capture attention and moved at nice, quick pace. However, somewhere in those first few chapters the pace began to slow and the reader becomes inundated with the minutia of police work. Every conversation is laid out. Every piece of evidence described, in full detail. Everything revisited just as it would be in a real investigation. As a reader, it was hard to stay invested. In addition, the parallel plot never fully tied into the main storyline, leaving the reader to question the motive behind the inclusion. All in all, this was a very long, drawn out narrative whose plot pace decidedly undercut any anticipatory feel. 2 stars.

Allison Brennan's latest novel featuring Lucy Kincaid/Sean Rogan and family was interesting and fun to read. As always there is a crime to solve and Lucy turns to her family for help. All her brothers are quite different and add a great deal to the content of the story. Lucy is asked to help a policeman solve what appears to be a serial murder case. However the policeman has had a very bad experience working with the FBI so he resents her. Much of her energy goes into working to get him to accept her. By the end of the story they work together to catch killer and everything works out well.

Another great Lucy Kincaid story. Lots of drama and difficult case for her to deal with. The characters were so real to life. This was a real page turner. You'll be guessing right up to the end.

***Thanks to NetGalley for providing me a complimentary copy of NOTHING TO HIDE by Allison Brennan in exchange for my honest review.***

Lucy Kincaid is hot on the trail of a suspected serial killer, who’s murdering seemingly loving husbands and worries her husband will be next.

My favorite procedural series are those, like NOTHING TO HIDE, which the can be read as standalones. I hadn’t read the previous fourteen Lucy Kincaid stories and now have the opportunity to go back to book one and learn how she came to be the woman she is in book fifteen.

Allison Brennan’s writing kept me interested in the story and guessing the culprit(s). Lucy Kincaid fans will be excited to grab NOTHING TO HIDE as she continues her crime solving and personal journey.

This book is part of the Lucy Kincaid series but can be read alone. Lucy has to find a serial killer who leaves no clues behind even though he has killed four guys. I love the characters especially the young boys. I also enjoy the family interaction.

Thanks to Netgalley for letting me read a copy of this book in return for an honest revies

FBI agent Lucy Kincaid is back to solve an unusual series of murders. So far all the victims have been white married men who appear to have been model citizens. Lucy can’t find anything else that links them, at least not initially. Those men were not as blameless as they appeared, and the killer appears to be “correcting” men by killing them. I have been reading Brennan for years and her style has become more sophisticated and her plotting more complex, she never disappoints
