Yes, he cusses a lot. If that's a deal breaker for you then find something softer to read. If not, buy the book. Listen on Audible. Buy the CD. Whichever format works for you.
I am not an author, book critic, or social worker. I am a woman tired of repeating patterns that eat away at my well being. GJB speaks in a language that resonates with my logistician mind.
Solid 3.5 stars. Written with the same in your face brashness as the first one, this book doesn’t cover new territory, but it’s nice for those that are sick of the “love and light” rainbow farts that ignore the darkness and deep foundation of our being.

In the spirit of "You Are A Badass" and other self-help/motivation books that want to give you a KICK in the right direction, this book delivers. I like that the author is unforgiving and is not timid in letting the reader know that if THEY do not make the change they want to see, it's not going to happen. It was a bit repetitive in the beginning, so it wouldn't be bad if that were shortened. I found myself wanting to get to the "meat" of the book. To the HOW, instead of hearing about the WHAT for quite a few pages, if you catch my drift. Overall, I enjoyed the book and I think the author has a lot of wisdom to share with readers who are willing to listen and don't get easily offended.
I am enjoying the way this book is written. I have many things in my life that I feel that I self sabotage....Saving money....losing weight. I am finding that this book really speaks to me and I hope i can break the cycle. I will probably purchase this book for the library and hope that it can help others too..
