I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

A great way to use one of Disney's most popular characters as a teaching tool. Great pictures.

This book was received as an ARC from Lerner Publishing Group in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

Myself as well as many people across America are die hard Frozen fans and are highly anticipating the wait for this book. Everything from context to illustrations was beautifully done and very humorous to read and children of all ages will seem to enjoy it. The book also describes job skills and what it takes to get your dream job and it's illustrated by how Elsa became the Snow Queen of Arendelle and what it took for her to get her job and maintain it the best she could. Such an informative and entertaining book for all ages and especially for fans of Frozen.

We will consider adding this title to our JNon-Fiction section at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

While the pictures are beautiful (of course!) I felt that this book was just another marketing ploy for Disney. Although there were a few interesting points thrown in about the making of the movie itself (the artists almost chose dark hair and blue skin for Elsa, and the career connection balloons) it really just felt like a recap of Frozen.

The book starts by talking about being a Queen. The book asks the question what’s it really like being a snow queen? This book seemed like many others with the story of Frozen. It’s essentially the story of Frozen retold, with random facts thrown in. I expected this book to give tips for leadership, or actually some sort of direction in being a snow queen. The illustrations are great—my 8 and 5 year old loved them and thought they looked just like the movie. The book has a random fact about the movie Frozen throughout, as well as connections to other movies/characters. The last page talks asks the question about what leadership skills are necessary to be a great leader. I wish the book would have touched on this, given the title.

Once again, another amazing book that turns Frozen into a great way for kids to learn. . . this time about responsibility, citizenship, and leadership. There are facts about the movie thrown in along the way. This tells more of a story while providing tools, where the gardening book is more of a "show and tell".
