This book was so fun. Presley is a fantastic character - he's fun, entertaining, does a lot of growing, and just becomes someone you have to root for. Likewise, Dixie is great -she has so much to learn about herself, does a great job of building up her confidence, and is just the sweetest. You can't help but root for these two.

It's great to read about Holiday again. I genuinely want to go down to Texas, grab a drink at the Rose, visit the pigs, and spend an evening chatting with all of the fantastic side characters in town.

I definitely recommend this one.

Plenty of charm and humor fill this small town romance. This is Dixie and Presley's story. I thought that the storyline was fun and entertaining. As this opposite's attract romance unfolds you will find yourself enveloped in these character's lives and embracing their world. The attraction and chemistry between this good girl, preacher's daughter and this heartbreaking, cowboy casanova is strong and smoky. I just loved these two and the impact they had on each other. Cute, sweet, incredibly genuine and immensely swoon worthy, I found this to be a very pleasurable read.

Cowboy charming was....where should I beginn? Amazing kind of mixture between new age Cinderella not aware of her beauty and charm who meets prince charming or better said cowboy charming, searching for truth and saving the kingdom.

As simple as it seems, the journey was anything but. The plot was nicely developing full of twists and turns wrapped up in humorous way making you chuckle all the time and investigation work every detective wouldn't be ashamed of ;)

Both main characters are total opposites but just like the saying Dixie and Presley are quite attracted to each other. They fight all the time but the investigation work brings them very close and they seem to be growing fond of the other. Anyway there is always a hook right? The trust you put into someone that leaves you crashed and heartbroken when something get wrong... yeah you got it.

I loved every second of this amazing book filled with absolutely everything you wish for. Get this book peeps. It's so well written and totally worth to read.

The Delight

A good ol’ cowboy and a good girl find themselves reluctant partners in this latest of the Holiday, Texas down home country charm romances. I’ve enjoyed the Walker family and was tickled to see that playboy Presley is now up for his turn with a preacher’s daughter, no less.
Review

Cowboy Charming is third in the Holiday, Texas series of standalone cowboy romances connected through a group of family and friends and the old Rambling Rose honky tonk.

Dixie has been a good daughter, granddaughter, student, worker. Keeping her nose clean and being dependable is what she is known for and now her friend Charlie needs her to help run things at the Rambling Rose during the first chili cook-off festival even while her parents have her keeping an eye on her precocious grandmother. But, she’s not on her own. Charlie’s idea of help was to pair up Dixie with the one man sure to make her as twitchy as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Presley Walker is a flirty, fun-loving guy who charms all the women and sticks with none. She might be secretly crushing on him, but Presley isn’t a good idea for a long-term gal, right?

Presley has a rep and he earned it, but lately he’s been thinking hard about settling down with a good woman- a woman like Dixie if he can get her to unwind and learn to get a bit of balance in her life of no-fun. They might antagonize each other but when the big bad business developers start sniffing around, he’s there forming a solid front with Dixie. He’ll show her there’s more than meets the eye if she’ll just take a chance.

This series has been one of those that make me take the load off, let out a sigh of relief and curl up in the backyard with an easy-going good book type. There’s family, small town, fun antics, flirty dialogue, heartwarming sweet and spicy romance, and it all comes together to leave me smiling and happy.

Dixie and Presley are the fun sort of opposites. They get on each other’s nerves a bit, but also get under each other’s skin. Neither of them lie to themselves about it even though Dixie, in particular, doesn’t think its a good idea. But, they are so busy trying to keep the Rambling Rose running, make the festival a success, and fight off the developers that they slide into friends and more before they know it. Dixie learns to not sweat the small stuff and that enjoying life doesn’t mean ignoring responsibilities while Presley settles down and proves he’s a solid, loving man she can believe in.

Naturally, family has to get involved and the quirky small town characters so that I was chuckling a lot at the antics that ensued. Dixie’s gran is a hoot and my favorite character in the story.

All in all, it was just summer sunshine and spiked lemonade in this one. I’m totally in love with the town and people of Holiday, Texas, and wish it were real so I could go for a visit. Those who enjoy light, small town romance set in Texas ranch country with a circle of quirky characters and a humorous with a pinch of spice romance should give these a go.

3.75/5 stars.

This is book 3 of the Holiday Texas series. It is also the third book that I have read from this author and I enjoyed the story as much as the other two books This story can be read as a standalone so you won’t lose anything if you haven’t read the first 2 books. Dixie and Presley were great characters and had some great chemistry once they gave in to it. It was a good read and will have you laughing as you are reading it. I do recommend this book as well as the entire series.

I’ve loved the Holiday, Texas series so much – and I’ve been waiting for Dixie’s story because I knew it was going to be explosive with her personality and one unique honky-tonk that takes on a life of its own. I was not wrong, I adored COWBOY CHARMING and it was everything I’d hoped for and then some. Dixie and Presley may seem like total opposites on the surface, but it’s in the heart where that silliness never exists that they finally come together for a lifetime kind of love.

When Presley, the town flirt and all-around charmer finally falls it’s for a woman who shies away from giving him any more than his drink order at the Rambling Rose honky-tonk. But fate works magic in odd ways when she’s asking him for tips on catching a realtor’s eye with the plan to keep him away from gobbling up the town. Overseeing the newly established Chili Cook-Off that has to be tended to when Charlie heads out of town on an emergency will also put them together more than Dixie is used to or comfortable with. Add to the mix a bit of a shove from well-meaning family and you’ll find two people working together for a common cause, and maybe letting down barriers, and letting someone in along the way.

I had fun watching these two people fall. In a town full of quirky, adorable, and sometimes prickly characters this is one of those let loose, lean back and enjoy the ride kind of Romances. If you love when opposites attract, a smoldering slow burn that turns reluctant friends into something so much more inticing – then you’ll love COWBOY CHARMING. I’d definitely recommend this one to any reader who craves a good love story, interesting characters, the feel of a small town with all its quirks and two people who simply work well as a couple.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

COWBOY CHARMING releases on July 30, 2019.

This was my first Dylann Crush read, so I wasn't familiar with any of the characters going into this book. I'll admit, there are A LOT to keep up with, so it was a bit overwhelming at times, but can still be read as a standalone.

I'm not sure what it was about the book though, but I didn't find the romance aspect to be well-developed and I wasn't falling for either of the main characters. Maybe it's because the whole villain part took the focus for most of the book and the romance just took a back seat. I liked Presley, he seemed like a player in his 'former' life but was trying to reinvent himself. Dixie acted like she was better than Presley and too good for him at times, which was incredibly annoying. She was way too judgmental, both of Presley and herself. She wasn't a very likable character, at least to me.

I wish the author had dedicated more time to developing their relationship. The "I love you's" came way too soon when they had just begun to give things a try and I wasn't buying it, not after the rocky first half of the book for them. And then Dixie goes and blows a gasket over something that shouldn't have been anyone's fault, except the villain.

Their intimate moment(s) was hot, nothing that would stand out, but it still added some intimacy and believability to their feelings for one another.

I think the grandmother was the best character of them all and she added some much-needed humor. The plot wasn't bad in this book, I thoroughly enjoyed the 'what are they up to' mystery and kept reading just to see what would happen with it. I just wish the romance wasn't an afterthought. Cowboy romances are one of my favorite genres, so I'll probably still read another book by the author. In this case, it was probably a 'it's me, not you' thing.

Dixie is the preacher’s daughter who follow the rules, while Presley is the local playboy, When Charlie, the bar’s owner has an emergency and needs to leave town to help her husband, she asks both Presley (her brother) and Dixie to run the bar but also take care of the Chili Cook-off taking place while she's gone.

While this books started slow for me, once it picked up it picked up. Dixie is a hoot, along with her grandmother and Presley has more depth that people realize. I now have to go back and read the prior books in the series.

Well, that wasn't what I expected. This story was slow and quite boring. Besides me being bored, my main issue relied upon the characters. They were one dimensional, bland, and I kept waiting for some sort of chemistry to happen between these two.

While I didn't enjoy the southern charm and humor here, it just didn't make up for my issues with it.

This was a cute small town fun story. We have your good girl Dixie whom you can count on and know she will always do what is right, her friend Charlie gets her help to run the Rambling Rose in the name of playboy Presley Walker, the guy who loves all woman but sticks to no woman, and she might a have a little just a little crush on..enjoy!

Dixie is a good girl, Preston is a bad boy. She had crush on him when she was young, now she doesn't like him anymore. Both of them must work together takin care of bar and festival while her boss/ his sister is away.
Besides taking care of bar and festival they have to work together to save bar, doing everything to keep some company from buying land next to bar.
Loved both characters, storyline is great, funny. LOVED IT.

Very cute and funny small-town story about strait-laced preacher's daughter Dixie and ladies man Presley (love the name as I'm a big Elvis fan!).

Dixie always seems to be trying to do what's right for everyone, even to her detriment. Her parents are busy and so it falls to Dixie to move in with and (try!) and look after her grandmother, who is one of the best characters in the story, she's a little terror and determined to enjoy her life which was great!

Dixie works for Presley's sister (Charlie) in her bar and when Charlie is unexpectedly called away Dixie steps into her shoes to help run their new chilli cook-off festival, with Presley organising the bands etc. Dixie has had a crush on Presley for years, but feels he's definitely no good for her as he's a real charming love 'em and leave 'em sort of guy. But Presley is feeling it's time for him to settle down these days and he has definitely got a soft spot for Dixie, and as they are thrown together in organising the festival they get closer and closer.

There is also a spanner thrown in the works when there are rumors of someone buying the land next to The Rambling Rose and turning it into a big country music venue, which of course would ruin The Rose's business and change the town of Holiday. So Presley and Dixie (reluctantly!) start investigating and try to stop it before it even starts.

An enjoyable story set around a town festival with very amusing characters, and some cute animals. Dixie was definitely too straight and narrow to start with, but Presley managed to loosen her up by the end of the book. Great fun with a happy ending. I do enjoy the town of Holiday. This is the third in this series, I've read the second book (Cowboy Christmas Jubilee) and really enjoyed it too.

Dylann Crush has done it again!!
I have laughed so hard while reading Cowboy Charming.

Presley has always intrigued me and I knew his book would be quite entertaining, but Dylann Crush truly has taken it to another level.
Presley and Dixie’s sparring is perfect. Sweet, sexy, and down right superb!

Then she went and threw in Gram, she’s a hoot and a half, my kind of lady.

So I raise a toast to Ms. Crush on surpassing my favorite book by her, All-Around Cowboy, with this new amazingly entertaining book, Charming Cowboy!

Everyone one go grab this one and be entertained.
My favorite summer romance this year!

Cowboy Charming was one of the cute, endearing, hometown reads that you can really sink into. I was really enjoying it until almost the ending when the characters go to the bank and the character's reactions were just way over the top and is why I'm giving it 3.5 stars.

This is the third book in the Holiday, Texas series. I read the first two books and loved them, so when I received an invitation from the publisher, via Net-Galley, I eagerly agreed to read and review. My opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.

Cowboy Charming is a delightful, light-hearted romance with endearing characters and a laugh-out-loud plot. From the pot belly pigs, to the eccentric citizens of Holiday, this book will have you giggling and laughing. The pacing is excellent, so I became engaged from the first page until the last.

Dixie King’s character is a bit uptight since her father is a preacher and made sure she stayed on the right path. Fortunately, her grandmother builds her up so that balances the negativity she receives from her father. Dixie does have a fiery side to her and isn’t afraid to fight for her beliefs. I really enjoyed her character a great deal.

Presley Walker is a fantastic hero. I enjoyed his fun-loving personality. He’s known as the cowboy Casanova, but he’s now ready to settle down with the right girl. He’s known Dixie most of her life, but never spent much time with her until his sister asks him to help run things while she’s out of town. I loved how he dives right in and is willing to do whatever is needed for the chili festival. He’s blown away by Dixie and wants her more than he’s ever wanted any other woman.

Although Presley and Dixie start out at odds with each other, the chemistry between cannot be denied. The sparks that fly are amazing. The banter between them is lively and fun. I really wanted this cowboy to win his girl!

If you enjoy light-hearted romances with a great cast of characters and a humorous plot, then you will love Cowboy Charming as much as I did. I have thoroughly enjoyed the books set in Holiday, Texas and hope to read many more. Happy reading!

Cute story. Not a super deep book in plot line but then we don’t ask every book to be. It’s one you can get lost in for an afternoon.

Book three is this series centers around Dixie King and Presley Walker.
Dixie is the preacher’s daughter, always doing the right thing ,following the rules and not a one night stand girl. She currently is working at local bar, Rambling Rose, keeping the “handy men” at arms length. But that doesn’t mean that she isn’t attracted to Presley.
Presley is the local playboy and brother of the owner of the bar. When Charlie, the bar’s owner has an emergency and needs to leave town to help her husband, she asks both Presley and Dixie not only to run the bar but also take care of the Chili Cook-off taking place in her establishment.
That’s when the fun and action start . These two opposites are like magnets in their attraction. Don’t they say opposites attract???
An entertaining plot , filled with the townspeople, some humor, family and of course romance.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Sourcebooks. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I thought that she added so much action and drama to the book and didn’t have it center on the budding relationship between Presley and Dixie.

About halfway through the story I started wondering if I was really going to want to finish it, but I held on and was very pleased with where the story took me. There is so much going on in Holiday Texas, I may just have to go back and visit again in the future!

Good girl, Dixie King is left in charge of the Rambling Rose during the chili cook off with her childhood crush, the town's cowboy Casanova, Presley Walker. Things can't go well. Throw in caring for her rowdy grandmother, and trying to get reacquainted with a guy who's showed up back in town and Dixie has no time to deal with Presley's mistakes.

Presley wants to finally prove he can be responsible. He just didn't plan on having to teach the preacher's daughter, Dixie, how to flirt and kiss with her date. He also didn't plan on investor's swooping in to buy land right next to the Rambling Rose for a new honky tonk.

I can't get enough of the Holiday, Texas series. They are fun, laugh out loud funny, sweet and spicy romances with some of my favorite characters ever. Which I can now add Dixie's sassy grandmother, Eugenia to that list. Add in the big Walker family, small town setting and it just adds up to some great stories.
Cowboy Charming is book 3 in the series but any of the books can be read as stand alones.
