Sexy, intense, real and addicting characters. I LOVED this book with all of my being. I wasn’t expecting to feel so many feels, but I don’t regret it for a second. Dana Mason is a new to me author, but she’s suddenly become a new to me favorite. I highly recommend this story when it hits shelves next month.

I liked this book but I feel like the author could have developed the characters better. I wanted to know more backstory. And Kelley is a dancer but she is never dancing in tne book. Otherwise I did enjoy it. Thank you for the arc.

Mac is a radio show host. While he is having a coffee he meets Kelley, a beautiful girl who is living a hard situation.
They start to speak and they see that they share a very strong attraction.
Mac needs to travel to Reno because of his job and he invites Kelley to go with him. Just as a casual couple. Because although it's true that they have chemistry between them, Kelley has just finished a relationship in not very good terms. Amd Mac is allergic to commitment.
So, after having too many drinks, you can imagine their surprise when they wake up being married. After their initial shock, it's the moment to take decisions.
I liked the story. It's fun and fresh. And I adore Mac. He is just perfect. And he doesn't know it. Which makes him even more perfect.

Accidental Groom was a beautiful story of love, loss, and hurt in varying forms. Mackensey and Kelley had an instant connection that they tried to deny but were forced into a situation that left it undeniable. Both with pasts of heartache, they learn to love together. Each character had a role to play and never felt unnecessary to the story. Wonderfully written.

This book was heavier than I expected. I was really enjoying the story. At the beginning of a few chapters, I knew I'm going to love this book. And yes, I loved it!

I liked the plot and this book I thought this book was well written. I have some little issue with Mac's character, I wasn't feel like he is a playboy. In some chapters I felt like he is committed person and has an adorable manner. If he is a playboy, his character should be like one and he is really funny. Anyway, Mac is one if the characters I fell in love with.

This story has a fast pace and I really enjoyed it. Seriously I was really shook when Mac suddenly became a groom. Accidental groom. What happened to Mac and Kelley was really messed up.

Kelley is a main female character and I really liked her character. I can relate with her and I kind of understand her. She has this humor which I always laughed at throughout the story.

This book was really good and I really enjoyed it. This book will make you laugh, cry and feel all the feels. Can't wait for the next book. It also left me with this warm and fuzzy feeling. Highly recommended.

This was definitely an unexpected read for me. Based on the blurb, cover, title, and sizzler alert, I expected a fun, crazy story. Accidental Groom had a lot of intense moments and tough subjects which I was not at all expecting. The sizzler alert might have been a bit of an exaggeration. While there were passionate moments, they were few and not overly explicit or long.

I need to say the name Mac...Mackensey...confused me. I have never heard of a male with that name. The female lead was named Kelley, which I tend to know can be male or female. So for me, that took some getting used to as I kept getting their gender confused.

Despite their names, I really liked the main characters. They were likeable and relatable. Both had intense histories which dramatically impacted their relationship.

I was not nearly as fond of the side characters. Kelley's (the h) bff was, in my opinion, not realistic. I will say I hate weak females and her bff was beyond weak....and either a complete idiot or played that portrayal up so was horribly manipulative. Plus I cannot fathom the h and her bff reconciling as they did given what happened between them. I also did not care for Mac's (the H) sister. She had serious problems overstepping being nasty and causing all sorts of trouble. But then completely changed her tune and helped the h out. Wait, what? It was a little whiplashy.

The story was a bit insta love but they really did take awhile to get to the acceptance of it. I did not feel it was so absurd becauseof their pace after meeting. There was the miscommunication aspect which always causes angst and keeps the reader turning pages. The H and h both had serious baggage which slowed their insta love as well as helped to fuel their miscommunication.

Overall, I enjoyed this novel. I also liked the author's writing style. I am not sure I will want to continue this series as there was only one side character which I liked. But this one is worth the read and can be read as a standalone.

Don’t believe it even for a second that Mac is a playboy. He might be a commitment-phobe, but I have never seen a man freak out in such a sexy and adorable manner.

Kelly and Mac’s story is a straight outta Vegas kinda story but their chemistry is mesmerizing right from the start. While Mac feels a genuine connection with this ‘green-eyed’ girl, Kelly is all-in, even if its just a phase or a one night stand.

Mac is a heartthrob, and Kelley is the poster girl for bad fate. They accidentally get married in an all-night wedding church in Reno and regret it right away. But Mac isn’t ready to let go, even if it was a terrible mistake on both their parts.

I do have a problem with Mac’s character, especially in the initial chapters. Mac doesn’t feel like a playboy, or a no commitments person. A couple of chapters to show this aspect of his character was necessary. I think Mac is one of those characters I fell in love with, especially his dialogues which were so thoughtful and funny.

Rest assured, this is such a comforting piece of Romance. I anticipated the worst and the best, and this book left me with warm, fuzzy feelings.

Mac is a radio DJ and a local celebrity, who is a known womaniser and an ex-alcoholic. He tends to love them and leave them as he won’t get close to anyone.

One day while getting a coffee at his local coffee shop he looks through the window and notices a woman sitting at the bus stop. She is talking on her phone and crying her eyes out. He is torn about going to her to ask if she’s ok, but he doesn’t want to come off as creepy so does nothing.

The following week he’s back at his local coffee shop hoping that he may see the woman from last week. After he’s picked up his coffee he turns to survey the shop and notices that the woman is actually sat at a table working on her laptop. He hurries to the last empty seat near her and tries to strike up a conversation. As she’s about leave he asks her to go to lunch with him.

Kelley has been having a really tough time of it recently. She’s doing everything she can to prolong going home. When she does go home she spends all of her time in her room studying for her finals, in hopes of avoiding her room mate and he ex boyfriend.

Unsure about going to lunch with Mac, Kelley decides to take the risk. After all he is a celebrity and with people knowing who he is she should be safe enough. Besides anything is better than having to go home. Mac is surprised to learn that she has no clue to who he is and has never listened to his radio show. She must be the only person in Sacramento who doesn’t know who he is.

While at lunch Mac persuades Kelley to go away with him over the weekend as he’s working at a comedy fest. While at the comedy fest things get out of hand. Mac breaks his sobriety and wakes up the next to find that he’s married to Kelley.

What will they do? Get an annulment or stay married?

This is such a fun and enjoyable read with sizzle. I couldn’t put it down. It’s a HEA that has real issues and believable characters. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Mac and Kelley meet one day and try to become friends. Mac is a popular face and voice in town, but she doesn't know who he is. But they have some chemistry, and they spend the weekend together. He notices that she's a little sad, and wants her to smile more. She's had some pretty bad luck lately with men, friends, and she could use some fun. That fun turns into an accidental marriage, but he's got some major baggage and so does she.

They navigate through some issues and getting to know each other, but some people in their corners are not happy with the news, and seem like they are trying to make Kelley to be the bad person. They really do care for each other and want to try to make their relationship work. I enjoyed this story, it was a more serious book than happy/fun but overall I enjoyed it.

Wow a time.

Honestly, I am a sucker for accidental marriages but this one didn't do it for me folks. Off the bat we are hit with this blinding insta-love attraction where our Hero invites our heroine to a comedy festival to take her mind off her recent breakup and betrayal--and because he can't stand to be away from her. Not even after an hour of meeting him, she agrees and off they go. I got to 42% before I decided to DNF this novel as the writing and dialogue were super cheesy and I felt like the relationship between our main characters Mac and Kelley was never real or felt real. Every single scene felt rushed like we were on fast forward to get to the big plot points, making each transition (if you can call them that) and scene feel not worth my time.

This is quite a fun book with good characters you can get into, the sizzler alert on the title in NetGalley got me all excited however it didn't quite live up to expectations. the writing style is very promising and I am keen to read more from the author to see how they develop.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this advance copy in exchange for a honest review.

I've never read Dana Mason's books before Accidental Groom, but I'm a fan now! I love this genre and she nailed every single aspect that I love about this type of romantic comedy -- chemistry between Mac and Kelley from the first page; a little bit of angst; a whole lot of steam; and all the "feels" that make this a winner for me! I enjoyed how their interaction and banter with each other was written--the storyline had an effortless, easy flow. I became invested in Mac and Kelley's characters immediately which is a sign of an excellent read! I'll definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author in the future. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Mac wakes up most of the early morning commuters in Sacramento. Women fantasize about him. Kelley rides light rail and never heard of him. But, he has seen her and her mesmerizing green eyes flowing with tears and he can’t get her out of his mind.

Accidental Groom is the story of Mac and Kelley, two strangers meeting in a Starbucks who end up married in Reno the next day. He’s a commitment phobe and a known womanizer. She’s couch-surfing among friends because her ex is doing her bff in their apartment. Two disasters waiting to happen. Together.

This book has got it all. Drama, angst, a real, honest love story. Once you start to it, you will not want to put it down to the last page. Dana Mason writes a darn good book!

I really enjoyed this book, the story had a nice flow to it . Dana made you want to see what would happen between Mac and Kelley. This book had some humor, lots of sizzle and some deep emotion.

It was a great story and I want to thank Dana and netgalley for the chance to read this advanced copy

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I found it to be really enjoyable. There was so much chemistry between Mac and Kelley. They both decide on a fun no strings weekend together but somehow they end up accidently married. Dana Mason does a really good job telling their story. It was so much fun to read. The characters were really well developed and I loved the interaction that the main characters had together but also had with side characters. I cannot wait to see who gets to be the focus of the second book. Thanks Net Galley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

Accidental Groom tells the story of radio personality, Mac and kinesiology and dance student, Kelley. Mac had seen Kelley’s distress the day she broke up with her boyfriend and at his next opportunity introduces himself and before the day is over he invites her to attend a function in Reno, where several things happen...one of which is waking up married. I usually enjoy this trope, but just couldn’t buy into the instant attraction between these two as written. The author has a good command of English and grammar, but the continuing story failed to engage my interest to the point that the story became more important than the other things going on in my life. These two have conflicts to overcome (no spoilers) but this reader really didn’t care because I never could relate to the characters. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

This was a romance with a little drama, a little heart, and a whole lot of sexy. I love when a character makes up their mind and sticks to it! Mac is the difference between an asshole and a guy just having fun. Even when you’re just having fun your actions still impact others, and he seems to recognize this, but his on-air persona is another story. It’s really enjoyable getting to know him throughout the book. Kelley has dealt with so much and it’s interesting to see her on this journey towards her goals despite all of the barriers and set backs. I can see some of the situations in this book are problematic, but overall I think this is an enjoyable romance read.

Kelley and Mac are two people who have been working through their issues for years. She's a late-start student trying to finish her degree and he's a famous, morning radio personality with a reputation with the ladies. They meet at a Starbucks and, after only a few hours, they're driving to Reno together to a comedy event that Mac is hosting. After a night out drinking and partying, they wake up married. Sometimes, what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay there.

Back home, they now have to deal with his radio personality, their marriage, her ex-boyfriend and ex-bff and his sister. They both have a lot of baggage that they've been dealing with and are just trying to figure out how their new marital status fits in with their everyday lives.

I liked Mac and Kelley for the most part. The book dealt with some serious topics without being preachy. The bff/boyfriend parts were a little cliche and Mac's sister was a little over the top. I would read the next story in the series by Ms Mason.

3 1/2 Star review.....

Accidental Groom is my first read by Dana Mason and I must admit I was expecting something light and humorous, but the story had some deep and confrontational moments which showcased the authors ability to mix it up. I enjoyed the plot, the world building was believable, and the characters kept my interest throughout the entire story. I look forward to reading more from Ms Mason.
