Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.

I havent read all the books in this series, but Stone Bridges
was interestind read I did however, find the begining of the book with the dpread sheet a bit confusing there was too much information to take in,but once passed this initial stage the book was a pleasant and relaxing read, you could follow it at your own pace.

Excellent addition to the Swift River Valley series! This is a story with plenty of emotion, chemistry, friends and family relations, love. Adrienne and Adam are strong characters with an obvious attraction to each other. Both are weary of that connection and getting involved. Reading previous books in the series isn’t necessary (the author does a good job of explaining who’s who), but it’s a series worth reading!

Adrienne us writing to Vic stating she is a innkeeper at carriage Hill farm.vic makes a cheat sheet of the people in knights bridge for Adrienne.I liked the cheat sheet but it was overwhelming with the details and amount of people. The inn is booked for birthdays, weddings etc.Adrienne is drinking coffee outside in her nightgown when she sees Adam Sloane. There are six Sloane siblings althoughter.Maggie Sloane is a business partner for the inn.Adrienne has a connection to knights bridge to her bio father.Adrienne has a connection to winery jobs this is her first job at an inn. There was a character that was a pirate expert and treaure Hunter. I love pirates of the Caribbean and I have a full back pirate ship tattoo Adrienne sees and talks to Adam at the inn.I thought the pacing in some parts was slow . The dialogue in some parts were boring.

Stone Bridges (Swift River Valley #9) by Carla Neggers ...Fantastic book by Carla Neggers..I haven't read all the books in this series but I plan to go back and read them.. Thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for turning me on to this book. This is Adam and Adrienne's story (he is a stone mason and also part of his family business...she is a wine blogger who is now an innkeeper). This story is also about the small town a lot like Knights Bridge and I enjoyed all the people and intrigue of a small town.. The journey and how Adam and Adrienne come together is filled with laughs, some drama, lots of wonderful family and friendships, and of course a very HEA. I can't wait to find out who falls in love next.

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Entertaining Witty Happily Ever After Realistic Informative Romantic Page-turner Wonderful characters Funny Easy-to-read Steamy Great world building

Continuing with this series I have read most of her previous books, but found this one to be just okay. No real mystery as with previous books, just a contemporary romance. All in all a pleasant little read. I received an e-book from NetGalley in returned for an unbiased review.

Another great story in the Swift River Valley. Living in Western MA this series has always been one of my favorites. Every time I read a story it's like coming home. This one didn't disappoint. Although 9th in the series you don't have to read the previous books to understand this one. The author refers to characters from previous stories and they're interwoven into the current story,

Adam and Adrienne met in a previous story but it wasn't until Adrienne moved to Kinightsbridge to act as innkeeper that they interact on a daily basis. Adam is part of a large family and a stonemason who is repairing the wall at the inn Adrienne is responsible for. Additionally, he's renting the guest house from her birth father, whom she recently connected with.

They move slowly in their relationship as they feel the repurcussions for their families could be life altering in this small town. They come to understand that hiding their feelings isn't fooling anyone and are getting impossible to ignore. I appreciate the respect they show each other and that they don't just jump into bed without becoming friends first.

A free ARC eBook was provided by NetGalley and the publisher for my honest review.

This book is part of a series but can be read alone. I like the small town setting and returning to previous characters. It did have a lot of history about stone walls and bridges which could be why this one had a slow start. It was a nice romance

Adam isn't what Adrienne was expecting. Certainly he's different from other men she dated before arriving in Knight's Bridge to confront and get to know her father. She's working as an innkeeper in this delightful small town - and I read this as a standalone so I think I might have missed a few smiles others would have at some of the relationships but it's still a place I know I'd like to visit. These two move into a relationship slowly but don't worry, there's a good payoff. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. I'm now a Neggers fan!

If you’ve read any of Carla Neggers’ other Knights Bridge books, you know what you’re getting - a leisurely paced romance taking place in an interesting small town where everyone knows everyone else and most of them are related to each other. But fear not about keeping people straight in your head even if this is your first novel in the series. The author provides a “cheat sheet” to help the heroine, Adrienne, who is relatively new to town keep everyone straight. I have read all the other books and enjoyed them very much and I was surprised at how much I remembered about each character and his/her romance. Usually, the plots of series books all seem to melt together in my mind.

I just really like the setting of this town in western Massachusetts. There is a real sense of place and I always finish reading these books and wishing I could travel there.

Adrienne and the stone mason, Adam Sloan, seem like an unlikely match, but I enjoyed how their attraction builds. Soon Adrienne will realize that there is a lot more for here in this small town than a temporary stop in her rambling life.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Stone Bridges is a lovely, slow paced read that allows you to absorb all the events and thoughts that happen when two unlikely people are falling in love. There are a lot of characters to place but Ms. Neggers gives you a list of whom they are and where they fit in the series. It’s a nice touch.

Interesting story with history about stone walls and bridges. The characters are amazing and so small town and family originated. You'll learn if a person that has wonder lust can adapt to small town life and find love.

I'm two minds about this book because I liked the plot but it was too slow paced and it took ages before the plot started being engaging.
I liked the well written characters and the style of writing.
Many thanks to Harlequin Mira and Netgalley for this ARC. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book, all opinions are mine.

This is the first book in the series that I have read. I was able to learn who was who pretty easily. This was a slow read for me. It was a sweet and rather boring romance.

Adrienne Portale has settled into Knights bridge, NH. She originally came to the town to connect with her Father she just learned about. She is working as an Innkeeper.

This is part of the Swift River Valley series but could be read as a stand alone. It is a romance in a small town setting. It is a good addition to the series. The romance is slow to develop and along the way you get to know the people and experience life in a small town. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
