This book has sat on my shelf for a very long time, but I am so glad that I finally read it. Riley Sager is a genius at writing creepy books that leave me on the edge of my seat. This was no exception. I was surprised by the ending, which always is something I am looking for in thriller books. Jules and Ingrid’s characters were well developed without making the ending too predictable

Awesome read, I didn’t want to put this one down I was so invested! I had to know what happened next. I love Riley Sager’s books.

After taking a couple months off from thrillers due to feeling let down by them, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this one! I've enjoyed this author's other books and once again it was a creepy, creative story.

Sometimes I struggle with thrillers because they go at such a slow pace. However, this one had me invested all throughout. I was officially creeped out by all the creaks and mysteriousness of the Bartholomew. My old home creaks didn't help either.

I thought the plot was so interesting. I felt like I was right along side Jules trying to solve the mystery. (In reality though, I would have bounced out night one. ) I thought she was a great main character. Honestly, I've been broke enough that I'm pretty sure I'd be tempted by a swanky apartment too.

I absolutely loved that I couldn't figure out what was really going on. I did have some wild theories too. Only one thing seemed predictable and it made up for it with all the other surprises. My heart was racing and I couldn't put it down. The end was great!

I've read all three of this author's books and I have to say this might be my favorite. It felt more fast paced. Although, the ending of Final Girls might win for me because it blew me away! I love that you can always count on there to be a major creepy factor. I'm already looking forward to his next novel!!!

My favorite Riley Sager book, and coincidentally my introduction to his writing! This kept me engaged the entire time and the reveal was shocking

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC! I was previously very intrigued by this title and author but find myself less interested in thrillers and the premise of this

Riley Sager has really created a name for himself in the suspense genre. I've enjoyed the books I've read by Sager so far and appreciate that each of them have had different settings, but Lock Every Door was the most atmospheric. A creepy old apartment building in NYC with rich and/or famous residents? How mysterious and intriguing! I'd recommend to those looking for a fast-paced, suspenseful read.

Thank you to the publisher for providing an ARC via NetGalley.

I tend to have a love/hate relationship with Riley Sager's books. Some I have really liked, some i finish and just feel kind of meh about them. But I really liked Lock Every Door! Talk about a creepy, completely relevant subject! Jules answers an ad about an apartment sitter at the Bartholomew, a mysterious apartment building in Manhattan that everyone is trying to get an inside look at. The apartment is beautiful, huge...and completely weird. As are the rules she must follow to stay there, like absolutely no visitors, no staying the night away from the apartment, and more. When Jules meets Ingrid, another apartment sitter, things get even weirder--and then Ingrid disappears. Jules is on a mission to figure out what happened to Ingrid, and learns more than she bargained for about the Bartholomew and its residents.

This book creeped me out because, let's be honest, things like what happened in the book have happened in real life, although maybe not in that capacity. This book reminded me some of the movie Get Out, especially with the taking what doesn't belong to someone simply because they can. This book was crazy, and I loved it!

Riley Sager is one of my favorite authors. I love his writing, the plot, and the characters. I really enjoyed the friendships that were made in this.

I read this book a few years back and it was a typical "Haunted house" trope. I was never scared and the "twist" really wasn't all that surprising. Still waiting on Sager to (wow) me like he did with Last Time I Lied. Now that was a thriller!

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager is a little over the top at times, but overall a really fun read with plenty of twists and turns!

Riley Sager is one of my favorites. I really enjoyed this book. Just the right amount of spooky! I devoured this in one sitting….per the usual with his books. I will always be excited for his books.

Riley Sager knows how to scare, and now I trust no one in my apartment building. So I think 5 stars is appropriate. Thanks to NetGalley for a free copy in exchange for an unbiased review.

Absolutely not what I thought the plot line was going to be and was beyond what I would’ve imagined. Messed up but that’s what makes a good thriller, right?

This thriller started a bit slow for my taste, but I really liked the setting, the characters and the short chapters set in the present that made me curious of what would happen. I thought it was too predictable (I guessed the major element of the ending), that's why I rate it 3.5 stars rounded up and not 4 stars, but I was really entertained.

Quick read - it was very enjoyable and somewhat creepy. Just what I was looking for as we go into spooky season.

4.5 stars. Every time I picked this up to read, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, but nothing ever gave me the urgency to get back to it quickly. That is until Season 2 of Only Murders In The Building ended and I was still in the mood for those creepy New York apartment building vibes. When I tell you it was finally the right time for me to read this book -- I couldn't finish it fast enough. This was a fun and wild ride. I was right there with Jules putting the pieces together and learning and discovering in sync with her. This is not my typical genre, but I truly enjoyed this reading experience and want to read more from this author.

I had been waiting for this book to be published for so long! It got me out of my reading slump. Amazingly written, beautiful and creepy AF details. This book creeped me out so much but it was SO. GOOD. Suspense from beginning to the end with “Just one more page!” in my mind.
The characters were well described and I enjoyed the development of each of them. The reveal was a bit weird in my opinion...I didn’t expect that at all but I think it added more to the story. Needless to say that from now on I will triple check if all my doors are locked!!!

Sager writes books that are almost always a fun ride, and this one took great twists that I was happy to not see coming. The building becomes a character of its own and the overall development of all the characters was great. Quick and twisty read!
