I have a tendency to collect endurance running books and then binge them, and this is exactly what happened here. It wasn't until weather in my area allowed for running again (hello, frozen North) that I even wanted to read about running. I started marathon training this spring though and suddenly I needed to read all the books I'd been collecting. I liked that it included the science itself while not getting so bogged down in it that I fell asleep. I feel like I can really use some of this information to make my second marathon stronger than my first.
