A cute story about Addison "Addie" "Murph" Murphy and Tucker Crawford. She was one of the guys, Tucker never saw her as anything but a buddy, Now he is back and seeing Addison in a different light. I love friends to lover stories. This one was cute. I enjoyed it!

My first Condi Madden book to read. I was hooked by the premise of “friends forever to romance.” I loved this book! Loved the characters, the witty banter of the guy friends, the heroine’s struggle with fitting in and especially Tucker. And the ending....swoon! This is a must read!

This book was pure perfection of a friends to lover's story.

Addison "Murph" Murphy spent her teenage years hanging with a group of guys who are still her best friends. Even though she loves all of her guys the same, Addie was always closest to Tucker Crawford. When the group get summoned together by Shep to tell them he is getting married to his girlfriend, Lexi, he informs the "guys" that he wants them all as his groomsmen....well technically Murph will be a groomsmen but she will have to wear a dress and stand by the other girls. Murph isn't thrilled with the whole girly thing, especially the dress part, but she will do it for one of her best friends.

When Tuck ends up quitting his big city lawyer job to move back to his home town, Addie and him start spending a lot more time together and start to see each other in a different light. Both of them want to throw caution to the wind and see if what they are each feeling is real, but they also don't want to ruin the best friendship they have. When they finally give in to their feelings, their world explodes....who knew it could be so right. Just when it looks like things are ending up perfect, their world implodes. It will take a huge leap of faith to get these two back on track to their perfect ending but they finally do get it.

I just adored this book. Addie was such a fun, non-girly girl. Tuck was just a perfect balance for Addie and together they were perfect. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this story....I laughed, cried and swooned.

I loved Addie and Tucker! They've been friends since they were kids but haven't kept in touch as much because he moved to the big city to be a lawyer. After a night back in their small town when the whole group of friends (all guys except Addie) gets together, Tucker realizes he hates his job and wants to go back home. The book was lighthearted and fun. I loved the slow burn of the two of them trying to figure out if the feelings were mutual and whether it was worth risking something that might impact their whole group of friends. Great summer read, and I am looking forward to more books in this series.

I loved this book so much! It was such a fun, sweet Friends-to-More story and I couldn’t get enough of it.

I don’t really like to use words like “swoony” or “feels”, but Addie and Tucker made my cold, black heart feel all the feelings. I loved their friendship and I loved how it turned into more. The friendship lines aren’t really crossed until about halfway through the book and the slow burn was everything. I actually maybe enjoyed the first half of the book a teensy bit more because of it.

I also really loved their group of friends. It made me nostalgic for my high school days where I had a great group of guy friends and I was often the only girl hanging out and they definitely sometimes forgot I was, in fact, a girl. I really enjoyed when they were all together and how they joked around with each other. I could have used a lot more of that, actually. I don’t feel like we got to know all of the guys as much as I liked to. I would love for this to be a series so that could be rectified.

The only thing I didn’t really like was that there were a few too many sex scenes once Addie and Tucker got together. I could’ve done with a few less of the graphic scenes, with more focus on the relationship instead.

Overall, I loved Just One of the Groomsmen. It was fun and romantic and everything I hope for when I pick up a Contemporary Romance. I definitely recommend this one to fans of the genre.

I will definitely be looking for more in this new series by Cindi Madsen. I just loved this small town, friends to lovers romance. Addie and Tucker just felt so comfortable I almost felt like I knew them. They have a fantastic group of friends and the relationship building was fantastic.

Just One of the Groomsmen might be the first in the series but I wondered over and over while reading it if I had missed a book somewhere because I kept feeling like I should know these characters, especially Shep and Lexi, our wedding couple. I mean, that's a great story right there!

I loved the small town vibe and how everyone was all up in everyone else's business. I loved how family was supportive but also obnoxious and I loved how things got difficult and messy and it was still ok.

Tucker and Addie were dynamite together. Their shared history and their encyclopedic knowledge of each other really made for a deeper emotional story. There's plenty of angst here, but there is also plenty of laughter and fun too, not to mention plenty of steam. With puppies, jealous brides, hateful bosses, and job offers of a lifetime, the book is pretty packed. And it still made time for fishing in the dark, poker and football games, and puppy kisses.

Sweet and savory, some spice, and a whole lot of feel good: that's what Just One of the Groomsmen is made of. Now I need to make sure I read the next books in this series!

I was drawn to this book based on the blurb because I love the friends-to-lovers genre and then mix in small town romance and I figured it would be a winner and I wasn't wrong. I loved Addie and Tucker's personalities and their banter, not to mention their slow burn chemistry. I enjoyed everything about this read, most especially the connection and enduring friendship among this group of friends of which Addison is the only female -- makes for interesting conversations to say the least! Definitely recommend if you like small town romances with intriguing secondary characters as well. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Growing up together, Addison "Addie" "Murph" Murphy and Tucker Crawford were just two of a large group of friends. Addison was the only girl in the group but the feeling among the friends was more sibling than romantic. Now one of their group, Shep, is getting married so that means Tucker is home for the first time in two years. And that means that Addie is going to have to wear a dress. Since her normal wear is either yoga pants and a T-shirt or jeans and a sweatshirt, that is going to be a pretty big deal. The next time Tucker sees Addie, she is under a car and he only sees her legs -- that's when he starts to realize that his best buddy might be female. And Addison isn't immune herself. But the move from friendship to relationship is one that is going to be fraught. Especially when both Addie and Tucker are also trying to figure out some other pretty big decisions related to the rest of their lives.
This was a pretty good book. There is a "big production" to get Addie back at the end after Tucker realizes that he messed up and I'm not a huge fan of those. However, the characters were well built, the romance was solid, and there were some nice openings left for more books in the series.

I thought this was a cute story of Addison the tomboy in a group of guys, who is picked to be a groomsmen in her friends wedding.

Tucker who is her best friend of all the guys is finally heading home after being away for years. He doesn't realize all that his has missed. Addison is all grown up and he can't help notice her legs when he sees her in a dress. So many awkward situations, lots of heat, and a small town gossip chain that makes you wonder if any secrets are safe!

This was a nice, fluffy read about one woman and her four best friends from childhood...who happen to be guys...one of whom she begins to have deeper feelings for.

There were definitely some parts that were a bit silly and juvenile for a group of 27-year-olds, and the heroine could be irritating at times (sometimes a strong, confident woman...sometimes an insecure, childish girl), but overall it told a rather sweet, loyal tale of friendships and love...both platonic and romantic.

I read this book while we were traveling to the midwestern states. My husband and I shared the driving and the navigating so I couldn’t read all the time. This book was just what I needed for this trip- not complicated, not intense just a rather sweet love story. There’s ups and downs, breakups and makeup’s. It’s an interesting storyline and the characters relatable. Good book. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advance copy for my honest opinion.

What a great feel story. Tucker and Addie are best friends who are starting to see each other in a different light. This was my first Cindi Madsen book and I really enjoyed it. I love how all the characters were friends and got along. I loved the dynamics of a bunch of guys and one girl all being best friends and not treating each other differently due to gender. This group is fiercely protective of each other and will do anything for each other. A really fun romance book.

Addie and Tucker fit the best friends into lovers role perfectly. The story was sweet, brought tears to my eyes a couple times and it was understandable. It started with the ball rolling and continued to the end.

However, I was getting tired of hearing how this could "ruin the friendship". I understand it was a big part of the plot but it got old being constantly brought up.

All in all, a good book to read.

This was a super adorable friends to lovers romance story. From the very first interaction, I knew I was going to enjoy it. I wasn’t wrong.

Addie reminded me so much of myself. A total tomboy...from the way she dressed to her love of sports. I could identify with her 100%. I mean, hell, even some of how her family acted was similar to my own. While not a necessity for me to enjoy a book, in this case, it only added to it.

But she and Tucker were so perfect for each other. It was obvious from the beginning. While the entire group of friends were close, they had a special, closer bond that shone through. I was rooting for them before they realized it themselves.

I have to say though I loved the romance element, the actual plot was fun and adorable too! I loved all the characters (especially Nonna) in the town. I loved Lexie. I loved the wedding planning. The secrecy. The puppy. And yes, there are cliches present, but I didn’t even mind them in this case.

And oh em gee. What an adorable ending! The rehearsal dinner scene was just the culmination of everything we’d learned about these characters. So damn cute!! Love, love, love.

My one complaint was the characters’ repetitive thoughts over not ruining a friendship. It was constant and mentioned enough for me to roll my eyes at times. (Probably our of frustration for their stubbornness.)

Such a fun, humorous contemporary. I have no idea if there are plans for books about the rest of the guys in the group, but I’d totally be there for them!

In this friends to lovers story, Addison 'Addie' Murphy or Murph is one of the lads.

All through school, the group including Tucker, Shep, Easton and Ford have been as thick as thieves, but none more so than Addie and Tucker.

They all head off to college and come back to town, all grown up and pillars of the community.

That is except Tucker, who, after law school found a job in a town a few hours away from their home town of Uncertainty, Alabama.

On a scheduled return trip Tucker, Addie and the others celebrate the announcement of one of their own's impending nuptials and of course the part, of Groomsmen, they've all to play, Addie included!

Neither Addie or Tucker are prepared for the change in their feelings for the other and often revert to the relationship of their past, getting into trouble and having a laugh along the way.

This is a slllllooooowww burn novel and if you enjoy the anticipation these offer, then this is for you! Cindi Madsen manages to maintain the reader's interest in her witty dialogue and the antics of her characters.

A fun and, at times, hilarious journey to HEA.

I sincerely hope that there will be further novels featuring residents of Uncertainty.

I thought that this was a pretty good book. I laughed and I cried, and of course I swooned! My heart broke for Addison at one point in the story (no spoilers here!), I could feel all of the emotions like I was a fly on the wall! I hope there are follow up books to this one because I am not ready to let Addison and Tucker go!

Friends to lovers books are my jam and Just One of the Groomsmen was sweet as pie and exactly what I was looking for.

After packing up his life and returning to his home town, Tucker finds himself face to face with an attractive woman. The problem? That woman is Addison, one of Tuckers long time friends who appears to have blossomed during their time apart and now Tucker can no longer see her as just one of the guys.

I appreciated the realness to exploring a relationship between two friends, sometimes things get messy and feelings can get hurt. There is an authenticity to the story that makes it so much more believable.

Cindi Madsen does a great job and this is a really enjoyable read.

Tucker wasn't counting on seeing his friend, Addie, in a dress. Suddenly, his feelings toward her are headed down a dangerous path. Is it a road worth taking?

JUST ONE OF THE GROOMSMEN by author Cindi Madsen is a touching tale of romance blossoming between two friends. Addie and Tucker have always been the closest in their little pack, but time and distance play a huge role in how they see one another. Their mutual friendship begins to change into something much more. Only problem is that their getting together could destroy their close-knit group forever so things have to be taken slow and seriously. Will it all be worth the risk? Find out in JUST ONE OF THE GROOMSMEN. It is one of my favorite reads of 2019. I give it 4.5 stars.

They both don’t want to give in and ruin their easy hangouts and years of effortless friendship. How long can they suppress feelings they shouldn’t be having ?
I love reading friends to lover stories, and had so much fun reading Tucker and Addies journey.
I couldn’t get enough of this book. It’s such a cute friends to more story with some funny moments and hot chemistry. Am looking forward to stories on the rest of the friends.
