This was a brilliant read. As soon as I started reading this book I just knew I was going to love it. Highly recommended
Omg talk about a roller coaster read wow this book kept me on the edge of my seat threw out I just couldn't put it down this writer keeps you hooked and once your hooked your not letting go I found this book thrilling the characters were fantastic and well thought out and the little clues all the way threw keep you guessing until the end this book stays with you long after you close the book this book is well worth the read I promise you wont be disappointed
I Know You is now my second time reading a book by Erik Therme and it did not disappoint!! I have already come to love how pacy and twisty his novels are, and this was no exception. The mystery of who has Alissa takes us on an interesting ride and I for one was not expecting where it would lead. This is a short book which means it is short on audio as well, and that is how I decided to read it. The audiobook is narrated by Patricia Rodriguez who I thought did a fantastic job. Her narration added to the story for me, and there wasn't a single thing that annoyed me. She also seemed like the perfect fit voice-wise for Bree which I really liked. I recommend the audio if you like them, but you can't really go wrong any way you choose to read it.
I felt very invested in all of the characters and was a huge fan of Bree as a person who hasn't had an easy life. I really liked that the premise revolved around not only what happened to Alissa, but also a lot of family aspects as well. I loved the pacing and it just felt like such a quick read which can easily be read in 1 sitting if you are so inclined. Due to time, it took me 2, but I couldn't wait to find out what would happen and thought the pacing was absolutely perfect. I Know You was a nail-biter for me and had me very anxious as I was reading it. I didn't see any of the twists coming, and really enjoyed the way the book was plotted. I am definitely always going to turn to this author now when I need a shorter, fast-paced read!
Thank you to the publisher and Let’s Talk Books Promo for my free digital copy. Thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was one of those books that had my heart beating out of my chest at times!
Fast paced and fast page turner!
Highly recommend this..it made the perfect bedtime read :-)
Thank you to the author and publisher and netgalley for my ARC in exchange for my honest review.
This was a disappointment. I Know You is written with what appears to be a cobbled together and ridiculously improbable plot. The characters also left a lot to be desired as they very much lacked development. It is a fast-paced, easy read but time should've been taken to give the cast some relatable features as I had a real problem connecting to them or feeling anything for them and their situations. It doesn't come together as a cohesive whole making it rather disjointed, and although there are some good twists I felt the execution of a decent premise failed spectacularly in attempting to catch my imagination.
This one was a struggle to finish. I didn't feel that the characters were developed enough as the writing felt rushed. And the plot felt a bit too cliche or classic perhaps.
Enjoyed this. I read it in one sitting this afternoon and didn’t realise I’d lost a whole day! Creepy, will have you page turning whilst looking over your shoulder.
4/5 on goodreads and Amazon
Very well-written. This would fall under the "family secrets" section of domestic thriller. I love seeing a strong female character (not always guaranteed in thrillers), so this is a welcome addition to public library collections.
I loved another of the author's books and was disappointed by this one in comparison as it didn't meet the same high expectations. It felt as though the plot was aimed at a younger audience, rather than an adult audience that enjoys thrillers. I didn't feel the same tension or interest I'd experienced while reading the previous book by the same author but a younger audience might enjoy it.
A short read, but not a great read. I just couldn't get into this book. It fell flat for me. The plot was weak and the characters were flat. A lot of people do seem to enjoy it though, it's just not for me.
Bree and her siblings, Tyler and Alissa have had a tough childhood living in a trailer park. Their mum worked two jobs, their dad often drank and took his temper out on those closest to him.
Bree has become hardened over the years but nothing is stronger than her love for her little sister. Then Alissa goes missing.
Someone wants revenge on her family but Bree has no idea who or why but it’s up to her to bring her sister home.
So this is the second book I’ve read by Erik Therme and I have to say his writing keeps getting better and better!
I Know you is a novel all about family and the fraught and difficult relationships that come along with it.
Bree felt so realistic, I just found myself rooting for her. As the oldest, she became the surrogate mum to her siblings which they didn’t always appreciate her for but she still did it anyway.
I can’t say too much more about the plot, like most psychological thrillers, I don’t want to give away any of the twists or turns, and believe me there are plenty in this book!
My only slight issue was the storyline felt a little similar to the other novel I read, Keep Her Close but of course that’s just my opinion.
I Know You is absorbing and emotional read that will have you hooked from that very first chapter.
A quick read with a good story line and some difficult characters. Most everyone knows a family like this one. Hard working but never seem to get ahead. When one of the daughters is missing, it's hard to pick a spot to start looking.
The story centers around one sister's search for another. It is well written without going too deep into character building. While this is not a "wow" book, it is a good read that will keep the mystery going until the end.
This was a quick read! A great fast-paced thriller that had me rooting for the characters -- both to find their missing family member and also to work out their own differences and come together as a family. Great summer read or a quick weekend read!
I really enjoyed this suspenseful and thrilling read! It was a fast-paced, gripping story that kept me on my toes and kept me turning until the very end.

With thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for the ARC, which I have enjoyed reading.
I Know You by Erik Therme, is a powerful book about the secrets we keep within our families. In this storyline Bree is the eldest daughter who holds the family together. She and her mother work long hours , Bree in a store and her mother waiting tables. Her 16 year old sister AlIssa, disappears and no-one realises for 48 hours. This is their story of how they try to find and rescue Alissa.

Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this Arc.
A very short and fast paced thriller. A gripping read that can be read in one sitting. Ideal for a weekend.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for an advanced review copy of this book. The premise of this book was promising. The story starts by describing how tough the daily life it is for Beth and her family. It is very sad to read about their drama and hardships. I could not connect with the characters even though this was an easy read and it was an interesting story.
The problem with reading a really good psychological thriller? It makes the mediocre ones seem even more mediocre. Early on, I was struggling with this book but decided to trudge on since it was fairly short and hoped it would get better. Sadly, it didn't. The story drags and this felt very juvenile. I kept forgetting the main character, Bree, was supposedly 26 and not 16. Most of the twists were easy to see coming and the ending wasn't enough payoff to make it worth the time getting there. Overall, I wish I'd acted on my instinct to quit and move on instead of sticking this one out to the disappointing end.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.
One of my new favorite books! This author has such a way with words the pages flew by in no time! I can’t wait to see the next work by this author! This was such a joy to read!

Sisters Bree and Alissa Walker share a special bond. Neglected by their parents, they have always looked out for one another.
But one day, 16 year old Alissa goes missing. When Bree discovers her green backpack with all of her belongings, abandoned on the steps of their run-down trailer, she knows that something bad has happened… then she receives a chilling message.
Someone has Alissa. But Bree will have to give up something very precious in exchange. Desperate to save Alissa, Bree looks at everyone close in their family. She is sure that Alissa’s best friend, Liz is keeping something back about her little sister and the boy at school, and why has their estranged uncle, who they’ve not seen in years, been hanging around again?
It soon becomes clear that the person behind the message knows a lot about the dark truths within the Walker family and will go to any length to get revenge.
Bree discovers something about her brother, Tyler that she wishes she hadn’t a dangerous secret, which is also the key to bringing her little sister back home….
I give this book a rating of 4 stars. The book was a quick read. It kept me wanting to read more. It also had many twists and turns. But I found at some points in the book, it kind have seemed to drag on what was happening.
