This is the first book I have read from this author. Rock and Roll Voodoo has an interesting storyline that is easy to follow with lively characters.
Synopsis: During the 1970s on a magic mushroom harvesting adventure in the Bayou, a young, aspiring rock and roll musician discovers the voice of Voodoo, which not only alters his life, but the life of his band, the Divebomberz.
DNF. I don’t particular care for the authors writing style. I might pick this up again at a later date but for now I just can’t make myself read it.
This was a step away from my normal genre and I have to say it was well worth stepping outside my norm. Having been quite involved in the music world myself in my younger years, I found myself completely identifying with the main characters of the story. I found the story itself to be fun and mysterious enough to keep me turning the pages, and earning an easy four stars review.
Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read and give an honest review of Rock and Roll Voodoo
