Due to a passing in the family a few years ago and my subsequent health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for years after the bereavement. Thank you for the opportunity.
Lately I've been struggling with completing spiritualism and meditation books, and at first it really seemed that it would be different with this book in particular.
The author was very sincere and well aware of some of the problems with the common meditational books. The idea of the meditation guided by the picture, especially with the mandala art, was very catchy for me.
I must say it was very well though out and perform excellently, but it still didn't have enough power to hold my attention until the end. I still read it, even it was far far away from meditating. Perhaps I will try it again one day, hoping for the better succes.
A lovely book, with beautiful illustrated mandalas. I definitely found it helpful, as I was just about to go to hospital for major surgery, and the relevant mandalas were helpful, giving the mind something physical to focus on.

I loved this book. I am a yoga regular and I have been to many mediation classes, and this book really helped with my meditations.
Honest and in-depth advice for reaching your full potential. This advice is presented in easy to follow language that can be broken up and applied in pieces at a time.
This is a great book. The artwork is so bright and cheery. The meditations are simple, but great and are so varied. My only issue is that I cannot mediate and read the instructions, so I have recorded a couple on my phone, which works well. I’m sure as I listen to them over and over there will come a time when I won’t need the recordings. Id recommend this book.

Whether you're familiar with of meditation or new to the practice, Healing Body Meditations by Mike Annesley is a great book for all levels.
Although familiar with the chakra system, I really learned a lot of useful information here. The author gives detailed explanations of the symbolism behind each chakra, the body parts it corresponds to and how to determine if they are out of balance. Each section uses clever and well-designed mandalas, thirty in total, each with their own meditation designed to make the most of your practice.
Beautifully written and illustrated, this book is a must-have for all those who would like to have more balance in their lives and enhance their well-being.
I found this to be a nice little book. You get a mandala image and a meditation to go along with it. It is divided into different categories and you do get chakra mandala meditations. So if you are a person who wants an image with their meditation, this can be one to look at.
Healing Body Meditations is a beautiful book with some great information and meditations. This is great for a beginner or more seasoned person. Easy to understand.

This is a beautiful book to guide you into meditating with the mandalas that are included. Each one is related to one of the seven chakras and there is a lot of valuable information about each chakra as well. Informative and inspiring!

I am quite new to the practice of meditating, but once I looked into and tried it, I became a bit enthralled with it. Next came wanting to learn more about crystals, mandalas, chakras, and the like. I am still fresh into the field of learning these things and this book is an absolute fantastic resource.
This book includes lovely colorful mandalas and meditations to go along with them. It also explains chakras in depth, including the signs and symptoms of of over-activeness and under-activeness of each individual chakra in the body and meditations to repair each area specifically. It contains a wealth of information that is easy to read and understand.
I often overlooked meditation, thought it was a waste of precious time and that it wouldn’t work, not for me. Then, one day after reading a blog post of one of my favorite yogi’s about how meditation was changing her mind, body, spirit and life, I was intrigued. I thought “why not?” and went to where all the answers lie - google. After a few websites my curiosity was spiked, which led to me reading a couple of short ebooks and watching some YouTube videos, and finally practicing meditation myself that night. That first practice made an immediate difference. I was excited and thirsty for more, still am! I can now attest to what she wrote. It’s only been about a month since I started my journey of trying to naturally heal from the inside out, and I have undoubtedly blossomed. I have more inner peace, a clearer and stronger mind, more patience, less stress, brighter spirit, and I sleep like a dream. It’s been wonderful and I’ve only just begun. This book has been such a great asset to my learning. I urge you to delve into this book and even give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised.

A wonderful inviting colourful book to help people who might just want some mindfulness or those who love and are fully involved in Buddhism, it is equally open and inviting to all. Some great meditations here.
