While I am a fan of the Misadventures series and have previously read (and enjoyed) a book by this author, I could not get 'into' this one. I felt that the characters were not engaging and the storyline was weak. One of my complaints was the male characters being referred to as ‘Mad’ and ‘Wild’ because it was difficult to differentiate between them. I didn’t feel they individually had unique enough voices. After 6 chapters, I gave up. I am not leaving a review on social media because I do not write negative reviews. And although this book was not my cup of tea, I am sure other romance readers will enjoy it. Thank you for the opportunity to read/review this book.

Jasmine provided the perfect balance between Wilder and Maddox. Their chemistry flowed together seamlessly and each complimented the other. The proposition could definitely break apart their friendship or bring them closer together. Will they be able to make it work? A great story on finding the ones that complete you.

With a title like this you could very easily think that this will be nothing by a sex fest, but it was so much more than that! Jaz, Wilder and Maddox just fit. Wilder and Maddox were best friends and business partners already, but partnering in love? Hmmm, yeah that may have taken a bit more convincing. The interactions between the trio were both fun, emotional and passionate. I loved the flow and pacing of the story, as well as the thoroughly satisfying happy ending. This is my second Misadventures story by Elizabeth Hayley, and I continue to enjoy this duo's writing. 4.5 Stars

This might be my favorite Misadventures book to date! I am always in when the book ventures to just this side of taboo.
And a threesome? Well, that is definitely this side of taboo.

Elizabeth Hayley made this fun, sweet, flirty, and hot.
It's a Misadventure book I can fully support.

Misadventures in a Threesome was a great read by Elizabeth Hayley. Jasmine is looking for a job who lands an interview at a local gym as a fitness instructor. Maddox has been looking for control since he was discharged from the army. He and Wilder are the co-owners of the gym, Transform. After Jasmine interviews with them she is invited into their friendship. This was another great read by Elizabeth Hayley.

Live the Misadventure series! Each one brings hot, sexy scenes in short, quick reads. Threesome does not disappoint!

This book was so much fun to read! It was hot and steamy but yet had a good story line to go along with it. This was a new author to me, but I enjoyed it very much.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

Misadventures in a Threesome is definitely an interesting read. I found the deeper meanings in the text much more enjoyable than what felt like a forced threesome. Mad and Wild's relationship touched me so much, especially when they asked each other why they were really on that bridge the day they met. I guess I just found Jaz to be a little pushy and childlike instead of more of an adult in the situation she was pushing the guys to be into. Besides the dislike towards Jaz, I love Elizabeth and Hayley. I loved Country Boy, Roommate, AND Threesome, even though I only gave it 4 out of 5. I can't wait for their next Misadventures!

Loved it! First time reader of this author. So it I was struggled with writing style at first. But as story progressed I really enjoyed it.

I've read several of the Misadventures books previously, and part of their appeal is their brevity. Unfortunately, this book really suffered for that brevity!

I had a hard time connecting with the characters, so therefore, I had a hard time investing myself in the story. If I had to pick, I'd say I liked Jaz the best, but there was really not a lot of depth given on any of the characters, so I'd only say so reluctantly.

Their romance also felt rather false. Like another reviewer, I was expecting something way different from the title instead of the "1 girl dates two different guys and they all know about it and are ok with it" mess that we got in this book. I felt that the author "chickened out" and didn't go for the true threesome experience because they weren't sure how to write it authentically. There are a ton of better threesome books out there to inspire the trope! This book is not a good representation of the trope!

The redeeming factor from this book was that the writing was witty and humorous. Some of the situations were actually laugh out loud funny at a time where I desperately needed it. That alone brought the rating up for me, but overall, this was a bit of a disappointment.

3 1/2 stars....

I enjoyed this book although Misadventures in a Threesome is not your typical menage.

Jasmine or Jaz, needs a job and secures one at an up and coming gym, teaching yoga. She loves working there and her two bosses are easy on the eyes. They both elicit different feelings from her. When Jaz proposes a threesome type relationship, both men decline. She settles for dating each one separately.

I liked the book and it was fun at times but it also had some sizzle time too. Jaz continued to pine for a threesome with her very resistant men throughout the book. That was the only thing that got a little tiresome. When some decisions were eventually made and things were going somewhere, it was over. I wished this was more like a typical menage then I wouldn't have felt so robbed just when it was getting good!

Misadventures in a Threesome - Elizabeth Hayley

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another title in the ‘Misadventures Series’ and another excellent short read.

Jasmine is establishing herself in a new home and desperate to secure a job at Transform Gym. Her yoga qualifications might be her saving grace but will her heart be able to stand the onslaught of the two very sexy gym owners, Wilder and Maddox.

Wilder and Maddox come from two very different backgrounds but they share an unspoken bond and deep friendship an trust. Their equals in the business but when the gorgeous Jasmine begins her job at the gym, the guys know that their bond is going to be tested.

Serious heat and chemistry in this story and plenty of heart.
Really enjoyed this one.

This is book 20 in a 25 book series. It was definitely a quick read at 198 pages. The main characters are a MFM, polyamorous threesome. I appreciated the respect with which the author treated the lifestyle. The pacing is fast, the love scenes passionate and the story satisfactory. I thought the characters werent as complex as I would have liked, but I put that down to the length of the story. I would read more from Elizabeth Hayley.
I received my copy through NetGalley under no obligation.

ARC Review of Misadventures in a Threesome
Author is Elizabeth Hayley

Below is my honest review - opinions expressed are my own ...

This is another book in the Misadventures series - these are relatively short reads & I have really enjoyed reading them !

The author Elizabeth Hayley does an excellent job writing a MFM love story. I think what is really interstesting is that none of the main characters have ever been involved in a relationship like this before ... so the author navigates what it is like from the friend stage - attraction stage - dating stage to ultimate relationship stage .... not having read a book like this before it was written in such a believable way - especially with the characters themselves wondering if this would work out for them. This book has humor - angst - 🔥 chemistry & love ❤️!!

I love Jazmine / Jaz - Maddox / Mad & Wilder / Wild together - great read - great story w/ a great HEA

What a fun book! Jasmine is looking for a new job & applies at a gym in town. Maddox & Wilder are best friends who own the gym. They really like Jasmine & hire her. The friendship that develops between the three of them is great. The more time they spend together the more feelings start to develop that go beyond friendship. Maddox is grounded & keeps Wilder who likes to have fun in line. Can they make a relationship work between the three of them? This was a great book & fast read.

When Jasmine goes for a job interview at Maddox and Wilders gym none of them realize that what they are going to encounter is what they all really want and need.
This book reads quickly and fluently.

I'll admit that I was a bit anxious going in to this Misadventure, as I had mixed feelings about the last Misadventure I read from this author duo. I'm happy to say that I did enjoy Misadventures in a Threesome more than Roommate. I appreciated that the book presented polyamory in a way that seems more grounded in real life than other menage romances that I've read - I can actually imagine the scenario between Mad, Wild, and Jaz happening IRL, where that is not necessarily the case in other books with this trope. I really liked all three characters, but I feel like we only skimmed the surface of who they were and their backgrounds and I would've enjoyed going a bit deeper. I also really liked that each guy developed a relationship with Jaz individually and the physical side of that was depicted in the book. I do wish we got more of the 3 of them together and I found that the ending was really abrupt. Beyond that, MA in a Threesome is a fun read, the audiobook is enjoyable, and I look forward to continuing with the series! I get super excited whenever a new one releases! 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

**I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is my first book in the misadventure series. It’s also the first book I’ve read by this author.
I have read other books that dealt with ménage or polyamorous relationships. But all of them started with men who chose the lifestyle and were looking for a female third. This book took a different track and I appreciated that.
Wild and Maddox had a solid friendship and partnership before Jaz arrived on the scene. They built a friendship with her and after a steamy session on the dance floor of a club, Jaz asks about dating both of them. They are not on board at first but find themselves drawn to her.
I liked that there were discussions and adjustment and that the friendships were just as important as the potential relationship.
The characters were a little flat but overall I enjoyed the story.
