I really enjoyed this book. But the thing is I don’t know if this is next-level stuff. Basically is boils down to prayer, which is what we all know we should do but it seems to be (at least for me) the first thing we let slip. Isn’t prayer one of the first things as believers we do?

So I guess I don’t think this is next-level, this is THE level, the only level. But this book is a great reminder of how important prayer is and what the enemy can do when we neglect it.

Here is something I read from the book and wrote down because it was so powerful: “Prayerlessness, then, creates the opportunity for Satan to enter and entrench his agenda into our lives. Prayer is the key strategy helping us to resist the enemy’s attacks.”

The book is full of good stuff like this.

A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.

I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

This is a book that should be studied and not read through quickly. At first, I felt that I needed to scrutinize everything the author said against my own belief system. But then I realized it was just the way the author was wording things that sent red flags up for me. Everything he teaches is scripture based, and he quotes the scriptures to prove it. I feel the attacks of the enemy in my life right now. I plan to implement the many strategies of spiritual warfare outlined in this book. Watch out, Satan! With this book, many people will put you in your place.

Next-Level Spiritual Warfare is a very interesting read. I appreciate the level of reverence that the author holds for prayer and the Word of God. This really stands out in comparison to other books in this area because it leaves the reader feeling empowered and not in fear.
