KA Tucker's Say You Still Love Me is a good second chance romance.
The romance between Piper and Kyle started when they were teens at summer camp. Now, years later, Kyle is back and working for Piper's company.
The author's use of switching between the present and flashbacks of the past is perfect for this story.
We get ongoing looks into the past, as their history builds throughout the entire book.
It's a while lot of fun.
My heart broke for Kyle and his situation, and my heart hurt for Piper and the way she was controlled.

3.5 stars. Who doesn't love a good book about rekindled love and summer camp counselors' escapades?? I was totally intrigued by the synopsis, and didn't think twice about reading this one, but while I really liked the characters and the plot, some of the romantic scenes had me cringing hard and rolling my eyes. But I was entertained and surprised by a few plot twists. Maybe it would make a good vacation or beach read...

I love this story!! From beginning to end it was so addictive, couldn´t stop reading. I really enjoyed how it went from present to past, I think that helped to create a great vibe and a nostalgia feeling around the romance between the protagonists. I loved the characters!! Definitely, I need more of them including the secondary characters, there is more to each of their story. For me this book was the perfect read for summer and one of my favorite romances of the year, if you pick it up you´ll not regret it!

“And I will jump off any cliff you ask me to, no matter how frightened I am, as long as it means you’re waiting for me at the bottom.”
Say You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker is a story of young love and a second chance at reconnecting.
Two lovers separated by secrets are brought back together by fate after 13 years apart. The moments where I'm taken back to those hot summer days the h/H shared at camp were absolutely special! However, I would have preferred K.A. write a separate story detailing the couples' life together at camp because at times the flashbacks overshadowed the story and as a result their love in adulthood wasn't shown as much.
K.A.'s craft is spellbinding for sure, making me wish I had a summer camp experience to reflect back on. Though this particular story may not have been my favorite, it was equally wonderful and beautifully written. With great characters, especially the secondary ones, Say You Still Love Me thrived!

I really enjoyed this book! I love a second chance romance and I really loved that this one was told in both the past and present. It made it nearly impossible to not become invested in the story.
Piper and Kyle met at summer camp when they were teenagers and fell in love very quickly, but by the end of the summer they had to head home and back to reality after some pretty crazy things happen. When they meet 13 years later, Piper can't help flashing back to that summer and those feelings while Kyle seems like it's no big deal they've been thrown together yet again.
A lot has changed in those thirteen years, but some things are exactly the same. It's exciting to find out what tore them apart to begin with and what, exactly, brought them together again.

This book started out really strong for me and I was loving it! I really enjoyed the dual timeline (past/present) which lent itself to slowly unveiling bits of the story. Somewhere around the 80% mark, it started to fall a little flat. I didn't particularly love the bits about Pipers fathers indiscretions. Even with the meh climax, I LOVED Piper and Kyle. Their love story was so sweet, I really enjoyed them together at camp and rekindling their love in the present timeline. Overall, I still really enjoyed this but it didn’t hit all the marks for me.

Summer camp has the ability to create a lifetime of memories for most individuals. For Kyle and Piper – those memories from their teenage years hold a lifetime of ups and downs. Years ago, the two teens found themselves meeting for the first time. Both were from very different ways of life, but it didn’t stop the duo from falling into love with one another. They were determined to have a life beyond their time at camp, but things turn a turn that neither would have predicted. Kyle disappeared after that last summer together, and was never heard from again. Well – until he showed up as an employee at the same company Piper worked for.
Say You Still Love Me by KA Tucker is one of those books that you find very hard to ‘rate’. The majority of the book is spent bouncing back and forth between the present and the past. Sometime that type of writing works, and other times it distracts from the overall appeal of the plot. The flashbacks in this case take us on a journey to rediscover just how strong the bond was between Kyle and Piper during those days at camp. It lays the groundwork for discovering that this was more than just a summer crush.
What left me in a twist was trying to decide if the book felt like more of a Young Adult novel or a Romance. Both elements were present in this book, and both were essential to setting up the grounds for the two to meet again. In fact – the YA elements actually overshadowed the plot that I would think should be devoted to gaining ground for the characters of ‘today’. See what I mean?
Did I mention the secondary characters? Ooopsss – can’t forget those!! I loved the added depth the secondary characters added to this story. Those friends from camp really made you feel like you were back with the crew in that summer of love and uncertainty!! Overall – the book left me pleased with the outcome at the end; something that had me teetering on uncertainty throughout much of the book. Say You Still Love Me is definitely a sweet second chance at finding love through the turmoil that can haunt your life.

I am such a huge fan of K.A. Tucker and could not wait to start this book. I loved everything about it from the cover to the story. This book captivated me.
Kyle and Piper met when they were teenagers as camp counselors one summer. The chemistry was instant when they saw each other. These two couldn’t be more opposite Piper comes from a wealthy family, and Kyle has one brother he is close with.
Now 13 years later and Piper and Kyle haven’t seen each other after he disappeared. They are now in each other’s life now working in the same building. Neither of them forgot about the other. People change over the years and they are not the same people they once were. Will they be able to get back what they had?
This book had it all and I loved every minute of it.

Great second chance romance! I really liked the story bouncing back and forth between the past and present. I've never read this author before but I will look for her in the future. Sweet, enjoyable romance. Recommended!

I finished this a few days ago and I'm having a hard time writing this review because I'm a big fan of K.A. Tucker and I enjoy her novels very much. This one didn't resonate with me. It's told in alternating chapters between Piper's days at Wawa Summer camp and her present day as a prospective CEO in a real estate empire. I really enjoyed the chapters at Wawa and loved the connection between Piper and Kyle and how it was told. This part of the story worked very well for me. I struggled believing the connection between Piper and Kyle in the present chapters. I didn't feel like I knew them well enough as adults to justify their strong feelings.
I'm really glad to read all the glowing reviews for this story. I'm happy that others are enjoying this story and I hope that it is a successful book for Tucker and her career.

I was first introduced to K.A. Tucker when I read The Simple Wild. It is one of my favourite reads of 2019 so I was super excited to receive an ARC for Say You Still Love Me.
While second chance romances are not really my thing, I was intrigued by this one. A romance that started at a camp when they were teens? Ohhh! Sounds good to me....and it was.
It was a little hard to connect with the main character at first because you are flipping between timelines. One when she was only 16 and working as a Camp Councillor and the other when she is a high powered 29 year old woman in real estate development. It was almost like reading two different characters. Once I read more from the teen years I started to connect a little bit more. I liked the older Piper just as much as the younger one. She was smart and successful in a career but still wanted to reconnect with Kyle no matter why he left so suddenly when they were teens.
I enjoyed this book and it made me miss those years as a camper. A lot of fun times.

The story is a second chance love story. Piper and Kyle met as teenagers at a camp counselors. They had that whirlwind of love (the type where they are not old enough to understand it) and when they see each other again years later, all those feelings come rushing back.
There are a few flashbacks to when they were teenagers, a way to build the relationship so you can experience what the couple went through and appreciate their story more. There were times when I wished that we didn’t get the flashback, only just because I was really into the ‘present’ story and wanted to get to the big moments for them.
I love the books that Tucker writes because while the love story is the main focus, it’s not rushed and it doesn’t take years for it to develop. You get to be a part of those moments with each of the couple in the book and you start to get attached to them just like the characters. There are times when you get so engrossed with the story that you don’t even realize that a large amount of time has passed.
It’s a story about a person that has always wondered ‘what if’ and having that second chance to see what could have happened. We all have those moments where we wonder if we would have done things differently and what we would have done if we got that second chance.

Such an amazing book! 4 solid stars. It was such a quick read and once I started I didn’t want to stop. It was heartbreaking, and happy m. It made me laugh, cry, and want to punch something. What an amazing book!!

#bookreview Say You Still Love Me: 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This one was a true page turner for me! I was so obsessed with this book, I had a hard time putting it down! Had I not been away on vacation, I would have probably finished it in a day. It was action packed and so entertaining. Hands down my favourite book by this author yet (but I loved them all)! I’m sad it’s over, I feel a book hangover coming.. I loved all the characters and the dual timeline worked perfectly for me, I enjoyed both camp Wawa & the 13 years later chapters. Very well written!
I suggest picking this one up ASAP!

In the acknowledgments K.A. Tucker writes thst she came up with the idea for a summer camp second chance romance while dropping her children off at summer camp. That her main goal is to always make her readers feel something. Well girl you hit this one out of the park for me. This is my life story, except I'm not a big corporate hot shot.
Piper has always had anything she could ever dream of. When her mother suggests she work at camp that she worked at when younger for the summer to be socialized with "regular" people, plus it will look good on her college resume. Pipers not really enthusiastic until they arrive ands she sets eyes on Kyle, she knows it will be a great summer. If only she could of forseen what they would get up to and how tragically the summer would end.
Still heartbroken 13 years later working at her father's billion dollar corporate she thinks she's seen Kyle again. Could it really be the love of her 16 year old self. What does he want and why has he returned?
This novel is amazing maybe because i feel so much nostalgia from reading it or maybe because its a beautifully written love story! Told in a now and then prespective. It brings together the trials of love, loss, heartache and family drama in both a teenager's and grownups world. This book is definitely one i will recommend from years to come.

I didn't go away to camp when I was younger, but if I had... this is the experience I wish I could have experienced.
This story will hit you with all the feels, without being over the top or pushy. It'll bring you back to a time when life was more simple and young love ruled all. The past parts were some of my favorite from the story. Kyle and Piper's relationship just felt easy, like they were meant for each other. They both came from completely different backgrounds, but when they meet... none of that matters. Fast forward to when they're adults. Kyle did a few things that did slightly get on my nerves. I loved how Piper didn't let any of that get in the way. She was the strong, female lead that I wish more stories had.
K.A. Tucker has done it again. She wrong a story full of nostalgia, young love, and the crazy things you'll do for that someone special.

This was my first KA Tucker. I had really high hopes because of all the hype over Tucker's 'The Simple Wild' (which I still haven't read). While Say You Still Love Me did not quite live up to my very high expectations, it was a sweet love story. I love romances that focus on second chances at love, and this one was no exception. From camp as teenagers to adults in the real world, I loved watching the story of Kyle and Piper unfold. I was most drawn to the camp chapters, and it had me longing for fun, long-lasting camp memories.

I never can get enough of K.A. Tucker and her well-thought out and captivating stories. Say You Still Love Me is proof of just that with the way she weaves together a coming of age story with one of second chances. I fell hard and fast for both Piper Calloway and Kyle Miller and the love they shared not once but twice and the rough road they traveled to find that slice of heaven once more.
Told in both past and present, we get the current Piper and her strong-willed persona as the next in line to take over the vast Calloway empire. A woman who could have any man and almost had one who would have made her life miserable, all the while never forgetting the boy who stole her heart at 17. The way Tucker seamlessly combines both the simple world where Piper met Kyle 13 years prior and the one where they find themselves eye to eye today is brilliant. I will admit that I had a knot in my stomach for a good part of this story wondering right along with Piper just why they lost contact so long ago and what exactly happened to Kyle and his good friend Eric. Just when things were heating up during their summer at Camp Wawa, we'd go back to the present with Piper trying her hardest to decipher just how and why Kyle was back in her life. All while she was dealing with a less than stellar Calloway employee and keeping her father satisfied that he made the right decision promoting her to 2nd in command. And yet through all the back and forth, I simply couldn't get enough!
But the 17 year old in Piper, the one who never forgot her first love, shines through time and again and with the help of both Christa and Ashley, she manages to satisfy that young girl again and finds the strength to keep Kyle in her life permanently. But not without a ton of resistance and a world of hurt that never left Piper's side all these years later. And despite all that hurt, I could still feel the magic between her and Kyle. The life-long kind of affection that neither ever forgot. There is amazing chemistry between them and Tucker made sure it shone through no matter what.
I loved that Piper was very much like her father, as her mother pointed out, and that her parents's issues and love affair were similar to what Piper was going through. It was a very sweet kind of touch that the Author threaded through this book. In addition, the surprise that was the grown-up Eric added a very bittersweet element that was heartfelt and truly lovely. His sense of humor remained intact from that wild camp counselor young man that everyone adored all those years ago and his reintroduction into the group that included Christa, Piper, Kyle and his 'Freckles' (Ashley) brought me to tears just as it did for all of them.
Say You Still Love Me is the kind of second chance romance I absolutely LOVE and K.A. Tucker knocked it out of the park once again. These characters are all kinds of wonderful and my only complaint is that I wish I could read about them forever. They are endearing, flawed and full of life. Both the past and present showed that Piper and Kyle belong together no matter their stations in life and that they are worth the fight to find a way to make their love permanent. Young love is true love for these two and I couldn't be happier I got to experience their crazy journey even with all the pain they suffered while apart.
For a story that will truly warm your heart and soul, grab Say You Still Love Me. It is a huge 5+ star read for me, absolutely loving every single word.

K.A. Tucker is one of my favorite authors. There is so much to love about her books and this one is no different. I loved the summer camp premise, I loved the forbidden past love, and I loved the strong woman Piper was in her adult life as CEO. The story has a solid plot and was a quick and enjoyable read.
Critiques: The side characters could have been stronger. Why was Crista so disgruntled? How are Piper and Crista friends now? Saying, "she changed a lot" didn't give enough information and it didn't seem like they had any connection. All of the relationships as adults were lacking a lot of the humorous banter between friends. Kyle as an adult was missing a personality. We got to see a lot of who he was as a teenager, but I just didn't see how he and Piper connected as adults besides their chemistry. They didn't have great conversations between each other and besides talking about babies, they didn't share similar aspirations. I think that piece is crucial to believing in them.
Overall, I did enjoy Say You Still Love Me and I highly anticipate more stories to come from Tucker. Thank you net galley and Simon and Schuster for the opportunity to read the ARC.
Positive post coming today on instagram to line up with yesterdays publication day.

SAY YOU STILL LOVE ME is not the first book I've ever read by K.A. Tucker and it certainly won't be the last. She has a way of intertwining lives and making you feel like you have a front row seat into their story. Piper Calloway comes from a well to do family and her mom sends her to summer camp to teach her a life lesson. Piper doesn't want to go and tries to talk her mom out of it. Her mom went to the same camp when she was younger and puts her foot down. Piper is going!
SAY YOU STILL LOVE ME is filled with so many different things such as family drama, love, forgiveness, second chances, and hope. Fast forward, thirteen years later and Piper is the new senior Vice President of her Dad's multi billion dollar real estate development firm. This story is told in the THEN and NOW and captures the reader's attention from the start. Piper makes friends with Christa and Ashley as well as Eric and Kyle. Kyle and Piper find an instant connection and soon they spend every minute of that summer with each other when ever possible. When an accident happens at camp, they are sent home and Piper is crushed. She never hears from Kyle again.
SAY YOU STILL LOVE ME is a well written novel that hooked me from the very first page.
I do not want to tell too much because I don't want to give anything away, but while reading, I felt every possible emotion I could think of and loved every minute of it! There is so much going on in this story, but K.A.Tucker does a wonderful job of weaving all the pieces together. When Piper spots Kyle again after thirteen years, her heart breaks all over again. She realizes her feelings for Kyle haven't been buried like she thought. When a big secret comes out, it changes their lives once again! It's a huge one too and I found myself holding my breath while reading!
Overall, SAY YOU STILL LOVE ME is a book I can say nothing but fantastic things about. There is so much heart in K.A.'s writing that I was left with a huge smile on my face and my heart, very happy. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I've known them for a long time. I look forward to reading Ms. Tucker's previous books I haven't gotten to yet as well as her future ones.
