Ahh, another lovely Tucker book. This is one of her sweeter romance type books that always leave my heart feeling light and happy. I love the alternating between now and then and how Tucker wove them together so well, telling the story of first love and second chances.

A beautifully written, second chance romance with all of the elements that make K.A. Tucker books so darn good. A great story that will capture your heart from the get go. It will keep you on edge as the past and present come to life with each turn of the page.

K.A. Tucker brings excellent character development with the right blend of chemistry, angst, and romance. When Piper and Kyle are in each other’s presence it is inevitable that sparks fly, yet the slow build and reconnect is what makes this a really entertaining read. My heart beat faster, while my mind was at war with the tension… at times I didn’t know if I wanted to love them or smack them around a bit. This is definitely another winner by this talented author. Say You Still Love me is the perfect summer read!

I received an arc from Netgalley for my honest opinions

I LOVED The Simple Wild. Ok. Like loved it. It’s one of the best romances I’ve ever read. And every Tucker romance I’ve read after I just ehh. I dnf Keep Her Safe and this one was good, not great not horrible just okay.

I feel like for the length of this novel we saw very little of the actual characters presently. We flash back and forth from present to 13 years ago. We saw some aspects of their lives now but I just never felt like I really knew them. Idk why. She also has old camp friends living with her but it never showed a friendship forming between any of them. I never saw them becomes friends, throughout any of the flash backs or present sooo...

I also just got bored. I felt like it was all kind of just weird. 16 year olds acting the way the Mc and love interest did was unrealistic honestly, and of course he’s a player before but she comes along and all of a sudden that’s it. It’s her and only her forever, I mean it happens but idk. Also the sex scenes between them in the past were a lot more mature than 16 year olds.. like way more mature lol.

Like I said it was okay, I finished but I found myself just reading to finish not for enjoyment. I wish we could have seen more of the bad ass business woman Piper was in the present vs just hearing it. She always said wanted to handle things her way but then when stuff hits the fan she lets her dad handle it.... just didn’t add up.

The romance was cute, it was okay. They never really knew each other honestly. It was just fun and games and memories of those fun and games and sex. That’s it really...

***SPOILER***

One thing that bothered me was how it also hinted to a relationship between Eric and Ashley. Never happened in the past but was always mentioned in the present. Than they go to see Eric once they realize what happened to him. He’s in a wheelchair and can’t really speak. He suffered brain injury. They start texting a lot but then in the end of the book PIPER SAYS SHES GOING TO INTRODUCE MARK TO ASHLEY AND TRY AND SET THEM UP?’!?!?’ I’m sorry what?! What was the freaking point in hinting to a relationship between Ashley and Eric CONSTANTLY only to mention hooking her up with another man in the end after they realize he’s in a wheelchair for the rest of his life?’! Excuse me... bad decision there. Should just delete that whole sentence before publication...

Say You Still Love Me brought forth all of the good nostalgia of a summertime romance and wrapped it inside of a wonderful second-chance love story. Tucker’s ability to capture character-to-character connection was effortless as we explored both the past and present of the relationship between an unlikely couple that emitted a natural attraction and ease around one another. From start to finish, this story was simply a feel-good read that held the perfect blend of romance and I enjoyed every moment of being inside of it.

The vibe and atmosphere of the setting that brought these two together was so vivid that the pull to my own camp counseling days became impossible to ignore. The rich girl falling for the boy on the wrong side of the tracks trope was wonderfully executed; neither Kyle or Piper were defined by their roles and yet they held such real vulnerabilities in both stages of their lives that it was all too easy to adore them and acknowledge how well they were drawn. Their arcs and personalities remained constant through time jumps—a task not so easily done—and my need to see how it would all unfold was always pushing me forward. And while there was less of an emotional punch than this author’s other books, it still felt like an addictive KA Tucker love story and I’m all too eager for what story she’ll tell next.

I enjoyed this story! I am a sucker for a second chance romance 💁🏻‍♀️ I liked how it switching between now and when they met. The camp setting was great, and it enticed me more than the present chapters. It felt like half the book was young adult which I liked! I liked both characters and how they grew together, even though they still had a lot to talk about 😬 there was a plot twist I didn’t love, but it didn’t take too much away from the book for me. Overall it’s a fun summer read and a great book to bring to the beach!

Happy pub day to @katucker_ and Say You Still Love Me! I fell in love with The Simple Wild when I read it earlier this year. So I was so excited to get a chance to read her newest book.

Piper is an executive at her dad’s real estate development company and is being groomed to take over when he retires. One day, she meets the new security guard for the building and it’s none other than her first love, the boy who broke her heart 13 years ago. Kyle might be acting indifferent, but Piper wants answers for what happened between them that long ago summer.

I really liked how the author jumped back and forth from the past to the present. It was sweet to see how Kyle and Piper had changed and how their relationship was different. I really loved the summer camp setting. The story made me reminisce about my own first love and how it feels to be young and in love for the first time. This was the perfect summer read. Although I didn’t love this story quite as much as The Simple Wild, I still really enjoyed it and would recommend it to romance fans.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Omg! It’s been so long since I’ve read a K.A. Tucker book. I fell in love with her writing all over again!!

Say You Still Love Me is a wonderfully written second chance romance. It jumps from past to present and tells the romantically sweet story of Piper and Kyle. I love reading their teenage year at summer camp. Past takes place when they are consolers at Camp Wawa. What Piper thinks will be an awful summer, turns out to be one that changes her brings her love and life long friendships. Kyle, a bad boy, treads Piper so wonderful and anyone can tell that even for
Being so young, these two are in love.

During the Present chapters, we see where they are 13 years later. Although years have separated them, Kyle and Piper still have that all consuming attraction. Kyle completely stole my heart. Honest and loyal with a heart of gold. Piper was amazing too. So driven and full of love as well.

There were great secondary character as well. They all made the story come together wonderfully. A few twists and surprises as well.

Say You Still Love Me is a wonderful second chance story that it a 5 Star must read for me!!

I absolutely love everything that K.A. Tucker writes. Say You Still Love Me is a sweet, sexy second chance romance. This story flip flops between the past and present which I really enjoyed.

Piper Colloway is a beautiful young woman who was recently promoted to senior vice president of her father's company. She has to deal with lots of arrogant men including her ex-fiance. She only stayed with him because he is the type of guy her father hoped she would. She has never forgotten her first true love from summer camp, Kyle Miller.

She is quite intrigued when the new security at her building just happens to be the one man who broke her heart many years ago and then disappeared for years. She isn't sure why he is back in her life but she definitely has some questions for him.

Kyle Miller fell in love with Piper at camp many years ago but because of life circumstances he never reached out to her after camp was over. When he becomes a security guard at Piper's office he claims he doesn't remember her but how do you forget the girl you fell hard for so many years ago? Will these two be able to work through the mistakes of their past and reconnect as adults?

I loved the connection between Piper and Kyle. The secondary characters added lots of depth to the storyline. I loved all the twists and turns this story took. I can't wait to see what K.A. is working on next!!

This book started off kind of slow for me but then I started to like it more as I kept reading. I felt some of the story with the whole business and the other characters didnt really need to be in the story (like Tripp) and the business deals that were involved in the story. Made the chapters longer and I never enjoy reading chapters that are too long because I feel like they are never going to end. Other then that the story was well written and I liked the relationship between Kyle and Piper and reading about their past history and how they came together in the present. It was nice seeing them re-kindle their relationship. KA Tucker is a very good author and I definitely enjoy reading her books.

Piper Calloway is a 29 year old VP at her fathers real estate development firm. Piper is living the single life with her two best friends from summer camp, where they spent the summer 13 years ago, in a high rise penthouse. Pipe is trying her best to dominate her role, where she is stuck seeing her ex fiancé everyday. The new building security guard is a blast from the past, Kyle Miller. The boy who broke her heart all those years ago from summer camp. Realizing she still has feelings after all these years, she tries to reconcile, even though Kyle has been distant and presents not to remember her name. Piper is left wondering if that summer meant nothing to Kyle, and everything to her. But there is no way his sudden appearance is just a coincidence....

I absolutely loved everything about this book! Piper is such a strong character and I love that she is a bad a** corporate woman navigating her way through a male dominated industry. Piper is also a woman who knows what she wants and is in tune with her feelings and doesn't do the run around. The chapters are told from the present, and the past at summer camp. K.A Tucker carefully intertwined present and past so masterfully! Because of the back story I was that much more invested in each chapter. Kyle's character in the present is standoffish but with the story weaving through the past and their relationship at summer camp it makes you like him in the present so much more. Such a great story about second chances, first loves, and the importance of love despite social class. I want to go read all K.A. Tucker's books now!!

Piper comes from a wealthy family. But her mom wants her to see how it is to work for something, and so she sends her to Camp Wawa for a summer to be a counselor. Piper doesn't want to be there at all, but she meets Ashley, someone who becomes a close friend; Eric, a foolish yet fun guy; Kyle, the guy who turned out to be her first love.

It's a summer filled with jumping off cliffs, games of two truths and a lie, eating fun dips, bets, breaking the rules, golf carts, etc. It's all about having fun with this group and getting into crazy shenanigans. Unfortunately, an accident happens and this group of counselors gets kicked out. With it, comes promises of staying in touch, but Kyle Miller never kept those promises. It can't possibly be him. It can't be the boy who broke my heart.

Years later, Piper is being groomed to take over her father's company. And obviously, there's a mysoginist employee who believes the company shouldn't be run by a woman, and I love how Piper is always one upping him and putting him in his place.

There's also David, the ex, who believes the world revolves around him. I have to point out how much I enjoyed David. I was so sure I'd hate him but he grew on me. He stood by Piper many times, and gave her lots of harmless banter that I was loving. In his own way, he still had feelings for Piper and wanted to get back together, and Piper would always point him to the door.

When Kyle comes in the picture again, he "forgets" Piper and she's just livid about it. I loved seeing Kyle and Piper come to terms to where they are now. Sure, Kyle still thinks that Piper shouldn't date him because of how he doesn't come from money. Piper being Piper, doesn't listen and it's so sweet seeing them reconnect!

The major highlights for me in this book are:

The flashbacks to 2006 Camp Wawa: It got me so nostalgic! KA Tucker wrote this story in a way I dove in and submerged myself in this story. I pictured everything so vividly in my head and I felt like I was one of the counselors at Camp Wawa! It was beyond fun to read about these memories and made me want to go back to camp and also be foolish.

The friendships: I loved every single friendship here but my fave one had to be Eric's and Ashley's, or Freckles, which is the nickname he gave her. Those two were cute and so much fun to read about! But Eric's character takes the cake! He's so foolishly hilarious, kinda reckless, but I had the most fun with him!

The romance in 2006 Camp Wawa: Even though Kyle and Piper reconnect years later, I felt most of their connection back when they were at camp. Reading about it reminded me of a cute YA story and I was so giddy! I was possibly grinning the entire time I was reading their time at camp!

Overall, Say You Still Love Me is a nostalgic second-chance romance of summer love, memories and fun camp happenings that will make you want to go back to camp with Piper, Kyle, Eric and Ashley!

At sixteen, Piper's mom wants to teach her core values and signs her up to be a camp counselor - to see how the other half lives. Not everyone has their life made and Piper quickly figures out that she's got it good. Fast forward thirteen years and Piper's settling into her new role as part of her father's executive team at his firm. She's destined to take over the reins of the company whenever he decides to step aside. She's 29, she's recently single, and she's roommates with her two besties from that long ago summer at camp. So what happens when her past takes a stroll through the lobby of her company? And why does her heart still beat as fast as it did when she was 16 and his?

Poor little rich girl.
Piper was entitled, privileged, wealthy, and didn't have a clue what it was to be anything but part of the 1%.
It's not to say that the author didn't characterize her with a big heart, because she did...
It's just that the entire story is told from Piper's perspective and it was extremely one-sided.
It was hard not to see how her world was colored and seen with rose-colored glasses.
For her, the glass was never half full because it should always be refilled.
And because of her somewhat condescending and superior attitude, even when she was trying to be approachable, it was impossible for me to be convinced of this second chance at love she had with Kyle.
I think I really needed something from him to bring it all together.
I needed to see how he was able to overlook so much in order to be with her.
I needed to see her grow as a person, as someone who would make sense with someone like Kyle.
And because that didn't happen, I found it hard to invest.

The writing was outstanding. It was easy to see why this author has garnered such a huge fan base with the floetry of her words. While this story wasn't for me, I'm sure it will be a big hit with other romance lovers. And I'll definitely be giving this author another try.

Say You Still Love Me by K.A. Tucker is one of the best books of the year so far. I absolutely loved this story and had a hard time putting it down. This is a story of first loves and true friendships with it's fair share of heartbreak as well as acceptance.

Alternating between past and present, K.A. Tucker gives us the story of Piper and Kyle. The two met as camp counselors thirteen years prior to present time and spent the summer together. In the present, Piper is a senior executive at her father's company and Kyle starts working in the same building as a security guard.

I do not typically enjoy novels that show different timelines, however, this writing style really made this story for me. We see the relationship between Piper and Kyle form in the past as well as the present. We see if it is possible to start again when there is so much history between two people. We also see how class divides impact both teenagers and adults.

This book was flawlessly written and both main characters were exceptional. I definitely recommend this book. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Special thanks to Netgalley and Atria Books for an e-Advanced Reader’s Copy of the book. Receiving Say You Still Love Me did not affect my review or rating.

This book is heart-wrenchingly good! I mean tears streaming down your face, ugly cry with a possible gurgle laugh good! Not just good great! This may be one of the best books I’ve read so far this year.

Now I will admit, that for a majority of the book it felt like a mix between the show Dynasty and the same teen summer camp story I've read or watched on the big screen before. And yes there were some cliché plot devices. But K.A. Tucker's writing style definitely keeps you wanting more, even if some of the scenes and moments feel predictable.

The story is told from Piper Calloway's perspective and written in past and present format. The reader is brought along the journey of her love story with Kyle Miller back when they were 16 and 17-year old camp counselors at summer camp to now, where she's set to take over her dad's company Calloway Group. And he is a security guard for one of the company's many buildings, which just so happened to be the building Piper's working in.

Piper's character and character development were, for lack of a better word, flawless. Why you ask? Because I related so well to a character who honestly on paper, nowhere near describes me at all. I mean I wish I was an heiress to a multi-million dollar company. (seriously, I wish!) But I love how down-to-earth she is, and I appreciated reading her inner monologue about work-related issues such as respect, loyalty, trust. And see her grow from this teenager who was head over heels in love with a boy to a (and you know I love this word) badass career woman. But what I appreciated the most was getting to experience all of the emotions and memories of her first love, Kyle.

Say You Still Love Me is a tale of class divides, true friendships, and a passionate first love. But in true K.A. Tucker fashion, there is treachery, heartbreak, and acceptance that although everything is not what it seems, there's room for growth and for friendship and love to start anew.

It's no secret that I'm a huge K.A. Tucker fan, but I recommend this book to those who like a tense romance that packs a hard punch. And who isn't afraid to go down memory lane about their own first love while reading someone else's. And also if you just happen to already be a fan of K.A. Tucker, pick this up now!

Fans of K.A. Tucker: get ready, because she’s done it again. Continuing in the vein of 2017’s Until It Fades, Tucker returns to full-on contemporary romance and she does it well.

When rich girl Piper was dropped off at summer camp, she was there under duress with only the promise of a brand new car making her agree to eight weeks as a camp counselor. Meeting Kyle on the very first day changed everything. Their instant attraction turned into a summer romance and a connection that neither of them expected. Their differences – Piper’s privileged upbringing and Kyle’s wrong-side-of-the-tracks life – seem to disappear in the suspended animation of hot summer days and nights filled with stolen moments. With plans to continue their romance beyond the end of summer, Piper was crushed when she never heard from Kyle again.

Thirteen years later Piper is a successful businesswoman being groomed to take over her father’s business. Despite the passing of more than a decade, other relationships, and a recent broken engagement, Piper had never forgotten Kyle. She was stunned to see him one morning, in her office building, working as a security guard. And there began their story – or rather, the second part of their story – as both Piper and I had so many questions. Where had Kyle been? Why didn’t he contact her after that summer? Why was he back and working in her building? As the story unfolded with alternating chapters set in the present and the past, I experienced Piper and Kyle’s life-changing summer together while also wondering if there could be a future for them. Would they get a happily ever after – or simply closure for the past?

There was so much to love about Say You Still Love Me. To start with, I’m a sucker for second-chance romance. The idea that true love is meant to be and can survive time and distance and hardships – oh yeah, I’m so there for it. Then there’s the dual timeline – again, I’m a big fan. I love watching a story unfold both then and now, being doled out bits of information, as what happened in the past is slowly revealed. Add in Tucker’s stellar storytelling, characters I truly cared about, all the heart melting feelings of first love, and an overwhelming desire for an happy ending, and you have a recipe for success. There were characters I hated, characters that annoyed me but who I ended up liking, secrets revealed, summer camp hijinks, big business machinations, and family relationships (both good and not so good).

Say You Still Love Me is the quintessential second-chance romance and one of my favorite reads of the summer.

This was one of those books that, when everything was said and done, I ended up really enjoying, but it also took me a bit longer to get through it than I had expected when I started it. It isn’t the books fault, at least not entirely, since there were spots that dragged for me, that smashed up with life in general kept me from devouring from start to finish. But in the end I enjoyed this mixed bag of romance tropes that was woven into a story about how one moment can change everything.

I really liked Piper and Kyle. Piper is persistent, stubborn and yet isn’t immovable. She has a good heart and a sweet and sassy nature that makes you see beyond the surface and into her soul. Kyle hasn’t had an easy life, but does all he can to move past the bad things and live a good life. Cocky, charming and with a core of honor and loyalty that rivals most, he is a good man who does what needs to be done.

Kyle and Piper’s journey was an interesting one as we get glimpses of not only their present, but their past, and it’s easy to see how the connection they forged never broke ~ regardless of time and distance. I really enjoyed seeing how time had changed them, but only made them stronger and was definitely rooting for them to get their HEA. Of course nothing is ever easy, and with these two they had a lot more obstacles in their path, and while I tended to be #teampiper (at least in their present) I never turned on Kyle either.

This was an interesting read. Secrets and half truth along with the friendships, the connections made one summer kept coming back. As for the secondary characters. This one definitely had a mixed bag of personalities, some I really liked while others had me growling, Ashley was my favorite along with Rhett, but each character brought depth to the story and understanding of the world Piper and Kyle were living in.

K.A. Tucker is high on my list of must-read authors, so when she announces that she has a new book coming out, I immediately add it to my to-be-read list.

Say You Still Love Me is a great summer read. From a love story between two summer camp counselors from very different lifestyles to a second chance romance thirteen years later, this story has all of the feelings, anticipation, and heart that I’ve come to expect from this author.

The story goes back and forth between the past and the present day. This style was ideal for this novel. I felt as though I was able to get to know the characters when they were teenagers. I witnessed their interactions, their friendships, their mistakes, and their long-lasting connections. It was a nostalgic glimpse into a time that would forever mark their lives. Reading Tucker’s words, I was able to envision everything that was transpiring as if it were happening right in front of me. When the book switched back to the present day, I already felt invested in their story and their relationship. It pulled me in and had me wondering and wanting to know how it would all play out.

This book is told entirely from Piper Calloway’s perspective. I couldn’t have been happier about that. There’s something about reading a story solely on one character’s point-of-view that just helps to build the anticipation. I was living the story right along with Piper. I didn’t want to know firsthand what Kyle was thinking, what his motives were, or what his feelings for Piper were. I was happy to just be riding it out alongside of Piper and witnessing all of the pieces fall into place.

As always, the cast of characters was well done and well developed. Piper was a young powerful woman with a privileged life, but she never came across as an entitled character. She was a hard-working woman who, despite her family name, was still determined to make her mark on her family’s business. She was savvy, smart, and stood up for what she believed in. I loved the friendships that she built over the years.

Say You Still Love Me was an all-around enjoyable reading experience. I was pulled into the story quickly, invested in the characters, and felt all of the emotions right along with them. K.A Tucker’s writing just clicks with me. She always manages to tug at my heartstrings, make me smile, shed a few tears, and leave me in anticipation of her next book.

Tucker has captured my heart again! I became an immediate fan of hers after reading The Simple Wild earlier this year! She has a knack for writing characters that you find an instant connection with- they are just so real.

This story is writing in dual timelines. We have Piper, who is a young VP of her dad's real estate development firm. She is a strong independent woman, trying to prove herself in this male dominated office. She is stopped in her tracks one day when she sees her first love, Kyle, working in her building. As this plot develops, we also go back and forth between her and Kyle's summer together 13 years ago.

I really loved how the story slowly developed between the two time lines- we got to know the characters as who they were and who they are in the present. I really became invested in this relationship!

I cant wait to read more by K..A. Tucker.

This was another beautiful and emotional story! It touched me and I have many feelings while I was reading it!The story is told in alternating time lines one in the present day and and one from the past when Piper and Kyle were camp counselors.

I loved their relationship in the past and present! What I love in K.A. Tucker's stories is that always has the ability to bring life in her characters and I always feel like I'm a part of their story! This one is the same!I could feel the emotions and the intensity between Piper and Kyle!

"You'll make friends for life here. People you can call up twenty years from now, for anything, and they'll be there for you. I promise you, you won't forget these days, ever."

If you're looking for an emotional summer read with an intense romance this is perfect!

I was really excited to receive an e-arc of Say You Still Love Me - I had heard such good things about K.A. Tucker, and the Simple Wild was burning a hole in my TBR. (I've since read The Simple Wild, and Tucker made me feel so much!) I'm sorry to say this one just isn't for me.

The first chapter really turned me off Piper for good. I work in a business setting too, and I couldn't believe her behavior. Yet she expected them to respect her authority! Her interpersonal techniques just weren't something I've ever seen successfully used in a workplace. It's clear to everyone she's in the senior vice president role to gain experience while she waits to someday take over the company from her father. Of course, that happens. But she didn't seem like a seasoned pro rising to the challenge of a big promotion; rather, she seemed like a 20-something fresh out of an MBA program still trying to figure out how to work well with others. Going so far as to ask the president to fire someone valuable to the company due to your personal relationship with them? You might not be ready for a senior management position.

I also didn't appreciate how invasive Piper acted with Gus, the security guard. First, she assumes he's "shown no interest" in retiring - never mind that she knows nothing about his financial situation and whether retirement would be practically feasible for him. (I'm willing to bet he's not loaded like her family.) Then she actually touches him to brush powdered sugar off his shirt which I found so invasive. Third, she gives him a hard time about his diet, which isn't her business. (It apparently occurs to her that he might be eating unhealthily to slowly kill himself - to join his wife in the grave - but not that he perhaps could use some mental health treatment if he is indeed depressed and using food as a coping mechanism.)

From here, the story flashes back to Piper's teen years. She felt like your typical rich girl: getting to be a counselor at a summer camp with friendly people and all sorts of activities, and complaining away instead of being nervously hopeful for a fun time. Her father even promised her a car in his preferred make in exchange for her taking this summer job - and naturally she's already planning on getting the most expensive model.

So, fine. She doesn't quite know the ropes of working in the business world yet, she could learn how to better interact with employees, and she's grown up in a world of wealth. Surely there's something redeemable here - maybe she's a great friend? No. For example, she complains that her friend always takes her ex-boyfriend back because the friend lacks confidence. Seriously? You're her close friend. How does it not concern you that your friend's confidence is that low? How do you not feel like you could play a positive part in her life by helping to raise her self-confidence - how is that not a thing you don't try to do without even thinking? How do you just write off that your close friend will continue to make the same mistake (in your eyes) because she's somehow seriously flawed? I just... wow. I wouldn't want to work with Piper, I wouldn't want to go to camp with her, and I wouldn't want to be her friend.

And one more minor complaint, because I couldn't not notice this:
It grated on me that so many people in just a few chapters were identified as blond. Mark, David, Vicki, her mother, Christa, Jenny, Eric, Darian - all blond! Granted, her mother is platinum blonde; Eric, dark blond. Still - I don't think I've ever seen hair color identified so many times inside a couple chapters, and the same hair color over and over again, at that.

I hate writing reviews like this - I was so ready to love Say You Still Love Me. I think that readers who haven't worked in a business setting will be able to more easily breeze through the first chapter. I also think the flashbacks to summer camp are super fun - how many of us adults wouldn't jump at the chance to relive some of our teen summer camp days? Being able to capture the freedom and excitement of that time requires a talented writer, and I'm sure K.A. Tucker continued to be up to the challenge for the rest of this novel. I just couldn't keep reading about this main character.

(Please note that a DNF for me is always a DNF for now - I reserve the right to return to a book at a later date if I can't stop thinking about the characters and/or want to see what happens. If I do so, I will update this review.)

Thank you to NetGalley and Atria for a free e-arc of this title for review.
