A Wonderful Story

Dorothy and Ryan, her brother's best friend, have known each other for a long time, but they haven't seen each other in years. Dorothy returns home to play piano at her brother's wedding. However, Dorothy has a secret that she desperately hopes no one discovers. Ryan, a now rising opera star, will also be singing at the wedding. Ryan credits his accomplishments to his own doing without divine intervention. These two characters are quite different. How they enter into each other's lives and move forward from the past is what makes this story so amazing. The author includes a very sensitive topic, but flawlessly weaves it into the story. That along with faith, healing, and romance make this a wonderful story that is sure to be enjoyed by all who read it.

A bit predictable perhaps, though overall a nice, enjoyable read about second chances. I did love the characters, only wished some of the minor characters got a little more attention.

Dorothy returns home to play the piano for her brother's wedding. She is paired up with her high school crush Ryan, who is now a world famous opera star. Overall, a good story, and kept my interest throughout. Didn't like the quickness though, which meant little development of side stories. For example, the wedding and her brother. A little didactic at times as well, but overall would recommend if you want a quick easy christian story.

This was a sweet romance that showed a lot of heart, even for such a short book. Dorothy is relying on her faith to see her through her past and helping her find her way in the future. Ryan has lost his way, but thinks he is finding what he wants. I enjoyed watching this rekindled romance happen between the couple. This was a sweet romance that I would recommend to anyone that enjoys a quick read with great characters.

This is such a sweet uplifting book. A wonderful book about second chances and how everything works out according to God's plan. Thank you Josie Riviera via NetGalley for the free copy. This is my honest opinion.

A Love Song To Cherish (Cherish Series Book 1) by Josie Riviera is a story of renewed friendship that turns into more. Emotional intense story of past failures, regrets, fear of judgment but also an uplifting one of the strength of God, His love and others that He sends our way.

Seeing this through Dorothy’s eyes have me invested in her story, pulling for her and for others in life with the similar struggles. Ryan’s struggles are different but he needs to find his way not to success but to God. Along with their story is a second romance subplot that has ties to Dorothy and Ryan. Compassionate, honest, a lovely story.
