This was a sweet and emotional NA read. Alice & Reagan first meeting ends up with Alice having a sprained ankle. Reagan is so sweet that he offers to help her since she is new to Malibu University. They are opposites but their chemistry is undeniable. This is a slow burn friends to lovers story. I adored their banter and connection. I enjoyed this story but only wish we could have had an epilogue.

It took me way too long to start reading “Nothing But Trouble“, but it was such a fun and quick read!

This was a cute and witty romance. I definitely would recommend this book to people who like college romances with an athlete.

5 Heartbreaking Stars!

Reagan is the rich hunk who is captain of the water polo team ... his life is perfect, or so it seems. Alice is the opposite of what Reagan thought was his dream girl ... but he can’t help falling for her. Alice is just trying to get an education so she can get her dream job and not have to struggle her whole life. She didn’t see Reagan coming ... and her life will never be the same after meeting him.

At first I thought that this is going to be your regular rich boy falls for poor girl ... and yes it was that, but it was also sooooo much more. This book is full of hurt, heartbreak and anguish and it also made me laugh and swoon. This story shows you that nobody has the perfect life ... even though they have everything in the world. Reagan had a heart of gold and I couldn’t help but fall for him. And Alice was just so down to earth with a good head on her shoulders. Then there are the other characters ... Zoe, Blake, Dora, Dallas, Cole and Brock. I sure hope they all get a book! A great start to a new series!

I received a copy from the author through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I gave up on this book about 30 percent in. I jus couldn't get into the whole "scene" of it. I was not caring enough about the characters to continue.

First impressions can change over time as you get to know the one who literally knocked you off your feet. They had absolutely nothing in common but both had a need to succeed. She never expected to fall for the Water Polo Captain but always expect the unexpected. Alice quickly learned to never jump to the privileged life of others but getting a glimpse of Reagan’s life will remind her sometimes you can’t see he pain of others.

P. Dangelico novels have just the right balance of angst and romance to keep a reader hooked until the end.

In the description of book they had me at "Owner of a face that belongs under Wikipedia’s definition of drop dead gorgeous."
That was a creative way of describing Reagan Reynolds. Talk about a bad boy who could charm the underwear off a nun. Fate forever changed both Reagan and Alice. Now they are left getting to know each other after a wreck Reagan causes that leaves Alice hurt and need of care and who better than the handsome Reagan to give her that. This is book one in a new series by the talented P. Dangelico. I could go on and on about this book but I hate ruining it for everyone by spoiling too much. Just know that I adored both of the characters in this college themed. slow burn, friends to lovers book.

Alice and Reagan are the main character in this slow burn sweet new adult romance novel. I really enjoyed reading this book, it was funny with interesting characters. Alice makes a retrospective of her journey from the start when she comes to new city, school, how she meets her new friends and how she falls in love. Great written novel with wonderful interesting well developed characters. Both Alice and Reagan are interesting and easy to love. I loved the whole story with what I was bothered was Reagan disappearing. I cannot wait to see what happens with the next watrepolo boy.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

Alice is just trying to get through school with her head down. She needs to keep her scholarship in order to get through college. She works hard for everything she has and tries to live life with no regrets. All of that changes when she is almost hit by a car on the way to work.

Reagan is a water polo God. He is rich, good looking and smart. You would have no idea that he has his own issues weighing on him unless you got to know him. When Reagan almost hits Alice and causes her to be injured everything changes. Neither person is who the other would ever go for.

Will they be friends or something more? Can Reagan overcome his issues and move forward?

The beginning of this book I thought that I would enjoy this book all the way through. When I got the part way I did not. I did like Alice character very much and her personality really stuck with me as someone from New Jersey and fighting for a chance to make it at the college on a scholarship. When she meets Regan she really does not know that he is a water polo God around campus. Not that he comes off that way he is just treated as such. He wants to help her get back and forth to classes since she was hurt by his driving. She declines until he just shows up and she accepts. After a while, the attraction that she has put off is acted on and they seem to be a good fit. Yin and yang. My whole issue comes when he just leaves and though he writes a note giving her his jeep, I felt he could have explained more before just disappearing. Being gone for months and no calls, letters or anything and to show up after she has graduated and when he has finally returned he thinks it is okay for them to be together again as if he did not take off. Now for me, I know my daughter who is starting college would not have taken him back because she would not have spoken to him. She dissevered to be treated better and if he could write a note about a jeep a few more about what is going on with him would not have been out of the question. Also in this day and age, some people would look at giving away your items is a sign for suicide. I know I am making a reach but I had an eldest daughter attempt suicide many years ago and that is where my mind went. Probably not what the author was thinking but for me where I went, and really would a fighter from New Jersey who did not want any rides from him at the beginning be waiting around for him for months without any word? I think not. Just was expecting something more from the beginning since I did like the Alice character.

I’ve only read a small sampling of this author’s work, but after finishing this book I’ll be heading to Amazon and downloading the ones I haven’t read yet.

This story was such a great opposites attract, slowburn. I devoured this in like 3 hours. Which pretty much made my day unproductive. But it was worth it.

If I had one complaint it was that the ending felt a bit rushed. I wanted a bit of a longer explanation/groveling. All in all though, this was a fantastic book and I look forward to more like this from P Dangelico.

“P. Dangelico” totally nailed it once again. “Nothing But Trouble” is different than her other series I’ve read but by exploring a new genre, the author has totally 1) captivated me 2) sent me on a thrilling roller coaster ride of emotions through her remarkable characters, 3) left me craving for more!! Absolutely recommend

Reagan melted my heart. Can I please get one of him for myself please. And these two are now officially my favourite couple.

P. Dangelico scores again! I loved every minute of this slow burn, witty story filled with lots of snappy dialogue. From the first page, I was transported into the world of Reagan and Alice, who meet in college when Reagan almost runs Alice over. Reagan and Alice are total opposites. Reagan is a rich, entitled, popular water polo player. Alice is a sarcastic, smart mouthed New Jersey native thrown into the rich, glamorous world of Malibu. She doesn’t recognize Reagan and has never heard of water polo.

Reagan is a good guy and feels bad for injuring Alice when he nearly hits her with his car. He comes from money and parents with a lot of expectations. He wants to help Alice but she continually refuses his help and that drives Reagan crazy. He is not used to being ignored. Alice grew up with a lot of love but little money. She is snarky, fun, honest, down to earth and Reagan is drawn to her.

This college sports romance is a great start to a new series by P. Dangelico. I fell in love with Reagan and was also highly entertained by his water polo teammates. I love all the entertaining interactions between Reagan and his friends. I was laughing out loud at all their bantering. Alice girlfriends are fun and snarky, too. My only problem with the story was its abrupt ending. I was so invested in these characters I needed more.

I couldn't help it, after reading the blurb I was already chuckling. And the story continued to be that funny. Alice is a stubborn and very independent girl who has just transferred to Malibu University from New Jersey. She almost gets run over by a cute guy, who turns out to be the local water polo hero. But Alice doesn't have time for nearly lethal guys with a car, because she is on a scholarship and she has to maintain her grades to stay in school. Reagan is used to having girls worship him wherever he goes. When it is not for his water polo achievements, then it is because his parents are famous and rich doctors. So, when he is shot down by the strange girl who nearly ended up on his car, he is surprised. Usually people see this as an opportunity to file a lawsuit and try to get some money from his family. But not Alice. When Reagan discovers that she lost her job in a bar thanks to her injury he even feels more sorry. So, he decides to be her personal chauffeur for the next few weeks. But Alice doesn't want his help. Not backing down from a challenge, especially not in the form of a strange girl, Reagan keeps trying to persuade her. When Alice needs to get across town for extra lessons to keep her grades, she turns to Reagan and they form a truce: he drives her around and she stops being a stubborn chick. After spending more time with each other, they both realize there is so much more than meets the eye. And so a tentatively friendship begins... Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

P. Dangelico is a one-click author for me. Anything she writes, I can’t get my hand on fast enough. I was so excited to see she had a NA series. I was even more excited to see it was about a water polo team. 😍

Nothing but Trouble Met all of my expectations and more. I loved the friends-to-lovers storyline. Introvert “Jersey” girl Alice meets the campus legend Reagan in a unique way. When their paths cross, Reagan realizes Alice may give him a run for his money and he won’t let her slip away.

The real star in this book was Alice. She was such an awesome heroine. She was strong, independent, and such an honest person. I hope to see more of her in the future.

Great start to a series I am eager to read. So many great side characters are introduced and I can’t wait to delve into their stories. (I am looking at you Dora!)

The first part started out slow, but I'm okay with it. The push and pull scenario? I'm okay with it. The many names of their friends? I could live with it.

However, can someone please tell me who wrote the last 10ish of this book? Because it doesn't co-relate that much. Seems like for most part, it was slow then I was thrown with unnecessary scenes, drama and to top it all, Reagan's action. Then everything just fell smoothly in the end. Like nothing's happen... We're okay. It felt like it was forced to have a happy ending just so everyone is happy.

There were some good parts, like the stolen kiss and the scene in the pool area.

For most of first part - 4 Stars max but for the last part... a sure 1 star. So overall, 2.5 Stars.

To be honest, I hate it when this happen. Everybody seems to love this book, why can't I? Answer - it wasn't for me or I'm just being choosy.

Still, I wouldn't give up on this author. I'd still give her other books a try.

Unfortunately, this book was a miss for me. I couldn't get engaged with the story or the characters, which is odd because I have very much loved this author's other books. I stopped reading at about 30% and for that reason I won't be writing a formal review. However, I very much appreciate the opportunity to read an advance copy. P. Dangelico is still an author I look forward to reading in the future. Thank you again for the opportunity.

“Are you in the mob? Because you’re harder to track down than Whitey Bulger.” Circumstances dictated that I resort to some questionable tactics. Like stalking. I’m not proud of myself but when I don’t sleep shit gets real. She stops, regards me curiously. I can see it on her face––she’s gearing up to tell me off. So I jump in and backpedal before she gets the chance. “That sounded stalkery as fuck but I promise my intentions are true.” My hand falls over my heart, as if I could dig it out and hand it to her as evidence that it’s not completely black yet.
“What do you want?” she queries, tone not nice.
“To drive you to class.”
“What do you really want?”
“I have a proposition for you. Let me drive you to your next class and we can discuss it.”
“A proposition?” She smirks. “That’s cute. Go away.”

Okay, I’m just going to start off by say…. I LOVED this book. I honestly didn’t think I was going to like it this much.
Alice Bailey is trying to live out her dream. She’s worked hard and decided to go to Community College back on in New Jersey for two years to save up to attend her dream school of Malibu University on the West Coast. From the moment she arrived she knew she was surrounded by people that were nothing like her. These kids wore designer clothes and drove luxury cars and she was a scholarship student barely getting by; and now with Reagan Reynolds practically mowing her down with his car, almost making her immobile, and causing her to lose her only source of income she’s not sure what she’s going to do.
To make up for everything Reagan has committed to righting the wrongs he caused with Alice. He’s appointed himself her Knight in Shining Armor. As much as she wants to dislike him Alice can’t help but to admit how attractive he is and like him. He’s a nice guy. A nice guy that she finds herself insanely attracted to but he’s pretty much friend zoned her. The more Alice gets to know Reagan the more she realizes that he’s not the rich snob she thought he was. She feels the same way about her roommates and Reagan’s friends.
Reagan Reynolds; hot as hell, star water-polo player, rich kid. To the outside world, he has it all but Reagan’s life is anything but Gold. He has overbearing, over-achieving parents who have pretty much mapped out his entire life for him, a drug addicted brother and now he has Alice who he wants more than he knows what to do with but she just sees him as friend.
This book was amazing. Once I started it, it was hard to put down. The only reason I didn’t have a book hangover was because I started it during the week on a work night.
I absolutely LOVED these characters. I’ll admit, it took me a minute to warm up to Alice. The chemistry between these two was apparent from the instant they met. They were so raw!! You know I’m a banter girl and theirs was STELLER. I loved the way the clicked and how comfortable they because with each other. The sexual tension between them was so fierce it jumped of the ereader.
The way he called her Bailey and her calling him Flipper was just adorable and so natural.
It wasn’t just Alice and Bailey that made this book. It was everyone in it. Alice’s roommates Zoe, Blake, and Dora. Then there’s Reagan’s friends Dallas, Cole, Brock. Let me tell you, I’ve read books where I like the supporting characters and want to read more about them, but I can count on one hand with fingers left over on how many times I’ve read a book, where not only do I love the supporting characters but am damned near salivating waiting for their stories to be told; and this is one of them!!!
I loved the pace of this book, the dialogue, it was sad at times, it was funny a lot of the time and it just held me captive the entire time.
It’s safe to say that P. Dangelico, just acquired a brand-new stalker.
