A wonderful, quick, light, easy and addictive read. I love sports romance, and I thought I’d pretty much read across all sports, but water polo is new to me. I’ve googled the heck out of it and yes water polo players have fantastic bodies, hot, hot, hot. So yes we’ve got a hot as hell main character Reagan Reynolds, the thing is, Reagan is also a great person, and when he nearly knocks down Alice Bailey in his car, Alice ends up with an ankle injury, and Reagan does everything in his power to help her. Alice however is unwilling to accept his assistance, she’s very independent and stubborn, this however only makes Reagan more determined. Herein starts an unlikely friendship, both feeling the attraction, but unwilling to act on it. Wonderful writing, characters (and friendship groups), and an all round great story that had me shedding a tear at one point. I am so looking forward to more in this series. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

“Immovable mass meet unstoppable force.”
Alice Bailey has been saving for years to pay for Malibu Uni and she is living her dream but as her car breaks down, she nearly gets run over and sprains her ankle her dream is slowly dwindling that is until the guy who nearly ran her over also helps her.
I ended up really liking Alice she knows what she wants in life, who she is and who she wants to be.
Reagan Reynolds, water polo god. A man who seems to have everything popularity, speedo bunnies (no man whore here ladies) rich parents and not a care in the world has more lying beneath the surface then he wants to show. He takes his responsibilities so very seriously and he doesn’t want to conform to what is expected of him.
What really made this book great is Reagan Reynolds. I adore him so much and he is amazing, he is loyal and a real gem although he did a douche move into trying to make the heroine jealous.
But there are sexy times which gave me some tingles.
Whereas I cannot to wait to read about Blake, Zoe and Dora, Alice’s merry band of misfits. I’m not sure about the water polo team Cole, Dallas but I am up for Brock as he is a virgin but the others seem to be mega man sluts. Just sayin.
Ms. Dangelico and I have a love/hate relationship her books are either a hit or miss. I absolutely loved Wrecking Ball but couldn’t get on board with the others not for lack of trying this book however it was a delight to read except at the beginning and we got off to a rocky start.
I was so close to dnfing this book I didn’t understand the angry sarcasm the heroine had going on. Oh believe me I get sarcasm I was born sarcastic and I know anger but this just didn’t fit in with the heroine and her attitude to life especially when she knows how short life can really be. This has a lot of banter and is refreshing IMO. A good level of angst and surprisingly enough it was the Hero that showed a more vulnerable side did that make him any less alpha? Nope.
I mean come on, how forgiving was Alice, I mean seriously yes he was going through some things but four months and zero sign that he is alive. I admire how forgiving she can be. So cause of the beginning and ending not being the best. What kind of closure is that for Raegan when it comes to what his parents have done? Zilch.
This is a good start to a NA series and I am intrigued to see what happens next.

A brand new series by P. Dangelico....This was a 4 star for me! I absolutely loved the chemistry between Alice and Reagan!! Definitely it was a slow burn tale... I am looking forward to read more in this series. Absolutely Dallas needs his own book !!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...
Wow can I just I absolutely adored this book! I loved Reagan and Alice and I also wanted to shake the crap out of them, such a great reading experience. This books has friend ship to lovers, tragedy, heartbreak, basically everything you need to make a great romance memorable. I loved how possessive and jealous Reagan was over Alice, but because of his own words he had no leg to stand on and our girl Alice, didn’t let him get away with anything. Of course, you have the crazy friends that make things more interesting and I hope they get their own books :) My heart hurt for Brian and Reagan, I really hoped that would have ended differently.
The only thing that had a problem with was Alice’s easy forgiveness of Reagan. I get that everything that happened was hard, but geez his actions were just plain hurtful. I needed more groveling from Reagan, not saying he didn’t grovel, but a little more wouldn’t have hurt.
I need Zoe, Brock, Dora, Dallas, Blake and Cole to get their own books soon ;)

Loved it. LOVED. IT. P. Dangelico has popped on my recommendations from book retailers before but I’ve never tried any of her books, so when NetGalley offered me an ARC in exchange for an honest review, I was excited to try her new series. I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy the book - and enjoy it I definitely did.
Nothing But Trouble follows the story of Alice, a film student from a blue collar family, and Reagan, a premed student and college water polo star from a wealthy family of doctors. When Reagan causes Alice to badly sprain her ankle and she loses her source of income, he feels responsible and won’t stop trying to help her out. Alice is unsure of his motives because she’s let him off the hook, and Reagan is a “big deal” around campus so she doesn’t understand why he would spend time helping her. There is immediate attraction between the two but they each have their reasons for not pursuing anything, so they develop a friendship. I loved the slow burn from strangers to friends to lovers. Reagan really is a sweetheart and I never doubted that his feelings for Alice ran deeper than he liked to believe.
P. Dangelico also filled the book with an intriguing set of supporting characters that I am excited to read future books about. Hopefully we’ll also get an update on Reagan and Alice. Though we get our HEA, it doesn’t come without a few speed bumps along the way - as the title suggests, Reagan is Nothing But Trouble. An awesome start to a New Adult series easily enjoyed by readers of a variety of ages.

I recently discovered P. Dangelico and tore through the Hard to Love trilogy in a week. I was thrilled when I received an arc of her latest novel and was hopeful it lived it up my expectations. This book did not disappoint.
Reagan is the water polo star of campus and Alice is hard working under the radar film student. This couple doesn’t have the best start when Reagan almost runs over Alice while she’s walking down the road and causes her to hurt her ankle. Alice initially wants nothing to do with him, but at Reagan’s insistence they form a deep friendship that slow burns into romance.
The chemistry between Reagan and Alice is hotter than a Carolina Reaper, and when they finally get together, whew! There is a lot of romance, but this is not just a fluff book. They are both dealing with real life struggles and tragedies and P. Dangelico handles these topics with skill and compassion.
I loved all of the secondary characters in this book and can’t wait for the rest of the series. I’m torn between whether I want the next book to be Zoe and Brock or Dallas and Dora (fingers crossed those are the couples).
I received a copy of this book from Netgalley for an honest review.

NOTHING BUT TROUBLE is first book in a new series by amazing P.Dangelico. She is serving us slow burn a la New Adult with all the good stuff we love in collage romance with special Dangelico sauce, I'm to be honest with you now just used to it.
Alice, our heroine is hardworking, loyal, introvert who takes life by the horns and lives each day as her last. I love her come backs, her loving family and awesome circle of friends.
She is that girl you like to hang out with and have in your corner. She is amazing support system.
She is also not impressed with our hero.
So he is famous athlete and drop dead handsome ....
Raegan, our hero. Already mentioned gorgeous hunk...
But wait he is so much more, oh yes...
He is super talented water polo player, great friend, smart future med student and good brother.
Then we have meet cute that starts great friendship filled with some off the charts chemistry and funny banter....
In slow burn fashion they take their time and after being friends first become a couple.
Trough in the mix some emotional hardships with the family, them navigating all the studying slash partying and some jealous colleagues you get a fun, feelgood yet very inspiring story.
That is kind of P.Dangelico style she will give you sweet , she will definitely give you strong but be certain she will give you hopeful .... characters and story all a while and after reading it with big ol' smile on your face.
I enjoyed especially this great group of side characters.
It was very entertaining to read about all of them and to get to know them and of course trying to figure out who will pair up with who.
( Not so secretly very excited about Dallas and Dora).
Special mentions of things I liked in this book;
* heroine is cinematographer and sport featured in the book is water polo, yay for diversity not just in characters but in all the other things like this
* emotional aspect of the story with realness of our everyday world we live in, in topics such as drug abuse, loss of a loved one, cancer and overall carpe diem vibe
*million little things in characters build up that makes them complex, genuine and relatable
Favorite quotes;
"I feel like shit. I think I'm catching the flu." " Nah, bro. You're catching feelings. That's love making you feel like shit. Welcome to hell."
"Shotgun, " Blake calls out. "I guess I'll ride on the hood", Zoe grumbles. "You'll make
a beautiful hood ornament," I tease.
"I don't know what the future hold and neither one of us harbors any illusions that it will be easy. But I know I don't want to face it without him. "

4,5 stars

I enjoyed reading about Alice and Reagan. I thought Alice was a great character. She was strong and had such a clear view of what she wanted to do with her life. I felt like I could relate to her when she always tried to keep perspective on her relationship with Reagan. Things were up in the air for so long, and yet she never let herself get put down by his lack of moving their relationship forward. Reagan for the most part was a sweetheart. It was easy to see that he cared about Alice. It was unfortunate that he had too much pressure and stress to avoid asshole moments towards Alice though. I think it would have put me off more, but I'm being more forgiving considering this a new adult novel and it's easier to make those decisions when you're young. I felt bad for him in the end as well. I think, all things considered, his decisions were nowhere near a worst case scenario after everything he went through..
I'm also looking forward to reading about the other characters. Alice's friends were all interesting to me. Only a couple were fleshed out, but I'd still be interested in reading about all of them. Especially if they end up paired with Reagan's friends.

I am not at all surprised that P. Dangelico had me in tears. Given my track record with her books, it was inevitable built I honestly thought I was doing okay. Then bam! She sideswiped me. Maybe I should back up...
Nothing But Trouble is everything!!!!!! I know I say this a lot but this story had all the feels, the fun, and the snark. Maybe it's because I'm a Jersey girl or maybe it's because Alice is a strong, sassy take no shit kind of girl, either way I'm hooked. Alice is my hero.
What I failed to mention, and I apologize, is this ridiculously gorgeous cover. This smirking god among men with the eyes that could make any woman do something stupid has been taunting me since the cover reveal. I'm not even sure he's real but he is absolutely what I picture when I think of Reagan (with some interspersed lighter highlights because prolonged sun exposure). He's everything Reagan is. It's funny because I often scoff at the cover models and argue whether or not they fit a character. In this case I can't tell if P. Dangelico created him or created Reagan to be him!
Reagan is the guy you crush on but have no intention of acting upon said crush. Alice is every girl in this book. Their awkward truce and resulting friendship is legit. It's awkward. It's tense but it's also every good thing in their lives.
Some people go looking for trouble. Others are trouble. Trouble, this kind of trouble, is worth every heartache. From unrequited to unconditional, every feeling, every hope is real and raw. Nothing But Trouble is only the beginning though. P. Dangelico has many more stories to share, or else! 😂
I can't wait to see what everyone else is up to in and out of the pool!

Well I liked this book until about 95% which is where both the conflict AND resolution happened. All in the last two chapters! I mean what the hell? We are left with questions that I’d like answered.
What I did like was getting to read about water polo and cinematography which was different and interesting (what we got to see at least).
Will probably read the following books in this series however I hope they don’t follow the same format.
