A gripping story that had me hooked from the first chapter. Abby is shocked when her doctor tells her she is two months pregnant, it is just not possible, she has not been in a relationship for a year. Searching for possibility she remembers Danny’s NYE party when she was so drunk that everything is a blur. Did someone take advantage of her? It seems the only possible solution and Abby enlists her best friend Danny to help her find out the truth, all the while hating the baby that is growing inside her. I could not put the book down until I knew the outcome. Despite the many possibilities and several clues I did not expect the shocking ending. Highly recommended.

When Abby goes to see her doctor the last thing she expects is to be told she is pregnant. She last had sex over a year ago so it seems impossible but two more pregnancy tests convince her that it must be so. The time line would seem to point to her best friend,Danny's New Year Party. She got very drunk but there is obviously a hole in her recollections.

Abby, with Danny's help, sets out to try & find out who took advantage of her. Then the flowers & notes start arriving & Abby begins to be scared.

This was a real page turner. I suspected just about everyone of being the father of Abby's baby- except the real one. Loved it!

Thanks to Netgalley & the publisher for letting me read & review this book.

What a great thriller! Most of the time in thrillers I can figure out
what's going down, but not this one! I changed my mind so many
times before the unbelievable end! It's good! I enjoyed it very much!

What a book. I was hooked just from the cover and description. Thankfully I was not disappointed. This is a fast paced read. Easy to read. Your on the edge of your seat wondering which way it’s heading. Fantastic read

A fabulously gripping read that is very enjoyable. The plot is far fetched, however that doesn’t take away from how good the book is. I’d recommend for anyone who likes psychological thrillers.

This was a thoroughly enjoyable, if far fetched thriller. Abby is pregnant, she hasn't had relations with anyone, and is worried that a hard partying night, the outcome of which she cant remember, is the cause. Abby's search for the truth, I found a little hard to believe, however the outcome of the story, I never would have guessed in a million years! Brilliant!

Special thanks to Netgalley and Quercus books for my ARC of Deliver Me by Karen Cole.

While I usually enjoy a good psychological thriller and in this case a BIG who done it I had a hard time staying with this one,

Abby is a an art teacher who lived with her supportive sister and her husband, On what Abby expected to be a routine trip to the Drs. to find out why she’s feeling poorly, Abby is told a very unexpected reason. She’s pregnant. Although Abby has no memory of how she could be. She’s not been with anyone in ages,

But flashback to the night of a New Years Eve party in which Abby has very little recollection of she begins to try and put together the missing pieces of that evening. And so begins a very long process of elimination as she tries to recount that night. To add insult to injury Abby starts to receive unwanted gifts, cards, flowers and calls presumably from the father of her unborn child. But these only serve to provide more questions than answers. And back we go to the very long list of suspects.

The premise of the book was a great one but failed to draw me in as it should have,

This book was INCREDIBLE. I was constantly shocked at some of the twists and 100% did not figure out the ending—this book kept me on my toes and reading as fast as I could!

First things first, this book should be stamped with a warning label because once you start reading, you're not going to want to do anything else.

First of all, I want to thank Karen Cole and NetGalley for the advance reader copy.

I enjoyed this book, it was a pretty easy read. At the beginning, it was nice but I couldn’t get into it since I found her story too far fetch. However, a last 20% of the book some things start to unravel and it became more interesting. I did not see the twist at the end...nor the dark turn either!

Imagine being single & finding out you're pregnant at a routine check-up with no recollection whatsoever of ever having sex. Such is the situation of Abby who discovers she's two months pregnant at a routine check-up. To make matters worse, she has a hole in her memory around the time of conception making her fear the worst - she was drugged and taken advantage of. Assuming the worst, Abby decides to go on a fact-finding mission along with her friend Danny - to find the father of her baby. To her absolute horror, she then starts receiving secret "love notes" from a person who she believes raped her on New Year's Eve. Is she being watched? Will Abby find out what happened that night?
I found the premise of this book to be pretty intriguing. There are a good number of red herrings that keep you guessing right until the end. While the plot of this book is good, the characters here are infuriating & unreal. No one takes Abby seriously. She has pretty shitty friends to show for who either doubt the veracity of her claims or just don't give a damn at all. Even after you factor in her pregnancy-related whims, Abby's emotions are all over the place. There are a handful of twists to the story, but I found the last one to be good.
Considering this is Karen Cole's debut, it's a pretty good book. If you're looking for a fast-paced mystery, this book might work for you.
Thank you NetGalley, Karen Cole and Quercus Books for an arc!

What an amazing debut novel! I was completely hooked from the first chapter. After splitting up from her boyfriend Abby moves back home and moves in with her sister and brother in law. After feeling unwell Abby visits the Drs who stuns her with the news that she is pregnant. She then realises that this must have happened at a New Year’s Eve party held at her friend Danny’s house. But she has no recollection of sleeping with anyone. She enrols Danny’s help to find out what really did happen that night. Was she drugged and raped? Danny draws up a list of potential fathers from the party. As they start going through this list Abby starts receiving flowers and messages from someone who must be the father as he knows a lot of intimate things about her.
This is a very clever plot. I was positive that I had guessed the father’s identity but no, after so many twists and turns, I was left completely shocked. This is a brilliant psychologicalthriller that you must read, highly recommended.
Thanks to NetGalley and Quercus books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Now I wasn't sure what to expect from this book I saw the bear and saw that it was a thriller. I have not read a good thriller in a while. I will say that it did keep me guessing.
I thought I had things figured out and then things took a turn. I thought I figured it out again and then nope... I am usually pretty good at guessing this one had so many ways things could have gone one way but they didn't and it had me guessing till it revealed the truth.
I was pulled in. I needed to know more, I kept reading and reading.

Deliver Me is a psychological thriller that had quite a dark ending.
Abby when we meet her at the beginning finds out she’s pregnant, it’s not ideal as she lives with her sister and her husband and they lost a baby a couple of years ago and have not been able to get pregnant again. Abby is shocked by this discovery as she hasn’t had sex in ages....or has she, the only time this could have happened is at her best friend Danny’s New Year’s Eve party where she was drunk to the point she can’t remember much of the evening.
We follow Abby as she tries to track down her movements and decides she has been date raped and there are several men it could be so when she starts receiving flowers and anonymous notes she looses her head and blames all of them at one time or another.
I enjoyed this whodunnit thriller, I liked Abby so that helped, it moved along at an ok pace and I thought I’d got it about a third of the way in.....but no I was well off the track 😂😂
I would like to thank Netgalley and Quercus Books for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

Definitely a heart pounder of a book with a twist on top. I thought I had it all figured out, but alas, I was wrong.
