I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoy these Harlequin romance mangas. I love the illustrations. I love the stories and since the stories are from actual books, sometimes it even motivates me to go and read the book for more details. Love it.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) from NetGalley and Harlequin/SB Creative as the publisher in exchange for an honest review

Book title : A Groom Worth Waiting For : a Harlequin Manga

Author : Sophie Pembroke ; Illustrator : Machiko Ocha

Release Date : 26 March 2019

Zeke, our hero used to be an heir to the Ashton family. However, because he has some clashes with his father, he was out of the family throne. During that particular time, he was with Thea, our heroine. Zeke asked Thea to runaway with him and she declined his offer. After eight years, Thea was ready to marry Zeke’s brother. And yes…like any other Harlequin stories, the old flames returned between them. These flames later also led them to another secrets revealed in the family.

I am not going to spoil all the stories as it is something you have to experience as the readers. My only concern to this manga is that everything seems like wrapped up harshly so some interesting parts of the story are missing. I know that it is probably because everything should be shortened and portrayed in manga but still, it is such a lamentable thing. Luckily, the illustration is pretty and it cheers me as the reader a little bit. Despite of those reasons, this manga is still a nice manga to read between the time.

This volume fell into a trope that isn't my favorite. Though the art was still beautiful, the story in this one wasn't my cup of tea. There is cheating in this one, and that is no bueno for me.
Take the cheating element out, and its not half bad. Tastefully done art, and an ending that felt satisfying when it could have gone a different way.
