I can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoy these Harlequin romance mangas. I love the illustrations. I love the stories and since the stories are from actual books, sometimes it even motivates me to go and read the book for more details. Love it.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for sending me this manga to me in exchange of an honest review.
Despite of the story which theme is commonly used in Harlequin novels about stormy affection and sexual attraction between the hero and heroine, planned pregnancy with accidentally baby-mixed-up and some dramatic scenes but the artwork in this manga was beautifully drawn, the story was sweet but remarkable. Definitely a sweet manga to read during your leisure time.
This manga is an enjoyable escape from the everyday through both its illustrations and story line. The story itself deals with babies from feuding families being mixed up at the hospital and what happens when this is discovered. As the parents work out a way to share custody of the children they also discover a growing attraction between themselves that goes against how they've been raised to view one another. This is an excellent book for an afternoon escape.
This was a really cute manga. The story is about two women who come to the hospital in ambulances to give birth. They both do so and one of the babies goes home with his father and the other baby goes home with his mom. Or so they think. This is in the title but the baby's are switched in the hospital. The single dad and single mom bond with the two babies and don't notice the switch for a few weeks. Once they notice, a DNA test is done and the babies are switched back to their correct families. The only problem is the parents aren't able to calm the babies down. So in order to help the change over be as smooth as possible the parents decide to live together for a little while to help each other out. That is the general premise behind this manga.
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the story line, it seemed plausible and realistic. The two main characters were both nicely fleshed out. Even though this is a romance book so you go in knowing the two main characters will get together, I still enjoyed reading the story and seeing how everything would work out. Altogether I think this is a great manga and would be a really good read for people that are fans of sweet romances or slice of life type manga.
Valentina holds her newborn son. Though her pregnancy was a one-time mistake, she’s determined to raise him on her own. However, several months later, she’s informed that he isn’t really her son. Apparently, her baby was mixed up with another at the hospital. The father of the otherchild, Giovanni, has just recently gone through a divorce and is also raising his son on his own. The babies are returned to their biological parents, but won’t stop crying. At a loss, Giovanni suggests to Valentina that they live together.
This romance was cute and sweet. No instalust, but a slow burn that will warm your heart. Of course you know right from the blurb that these two single parents will end up together, and yet the journey there is not to be taken for granted and will change them forever.
