The Essential Air Fryer Cookbook for Two: Perfectly Portioned Recipes for Healthier Fried Favorites, by Gina Kleinworth, is absolutely awesome! Air Fryers are the most popular appliance out there right now, and it seems that everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and is cooking almost everything in their air fryers. This cookbook is perfect because it’s aimed at those who don’t need large family-size recipes and want to prepare smaller portions. For those who need larger recipes, most of the recipes can be doubled or tripled.
This cookbook includes recipes for dozens of dishes that people actually want to eat. The recipes are well-written, concise, and easy-to-follow, even for beginning cooks. The recipes turn out picture-perfect, (albeit the fact that there are very few pictures in the book, which is the only drawback). The Louisiana Catfish turned out perfectly, and was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside; this will become a go-to recipe. The Chocolate Overload Muffins were a real treat for breakfast, and weren’t overly sweet, but were chocolately enough to satisfy any chocoholic. There are mouthwatering recipes for everyone; in the queue are Crunchy Crusted Pork Chops, Mongolian Beef, and Spicy Cajun Shrimp. The Fried Brussels Sprouts with Honey-Sriracha Sauce are irresistible, and the Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie (made into two thinner cookies instead of one thick cookie – a change from the recipe), is divine.
Anyone who has an air fryer should own this excellent cookbook. It seems to have recipes for almost everything, and is highly recommended.
Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.
Great book for those new to air frying or those looking for easy recipes for air frying. I love the recipes and the eady to follow instructions. The recipes use ingredients already in my pantry. All I have tries are delicious.
Easy to follow recipes and simple ingredients. this is a must have for those getting started with an air fryer. I found it easy to follow and everything tasted great.
This book has great recipes! I already tried out the chicken tenders and they were amazing., even my picky kids approved! I like that the ingredients called for aren’t weird things I’ve never heard of. All the recipes are ones I would like to try. I am new to the air fryer and this book has a lot of great tips...highly recommended!
As someone new to air frying, I was delighted to come across this book. Also, a plus is that the recipes arecatered to small portions. The layout and design of the cookbook are great and is a great tool to have in my kitchen.
This is a great book. Beautiful, easy to follow recipes that cater for two people. This is definitely going to be one of my go to recipe books for when hubby and I are on our own.
This book is set out really well, with lots of information to get you started with your air fryer before delving into the recipes. Not a lot of pictures but the ones that are in this book are vibrant in colour and pleasing to the eye.
What I loved about this book is that there aren't huge lists of ingredients with over the top instructions, they are well set out and provide all the information you need and the calorie reader at the end of each recipe is a bonus.
One of the best sections in this book is at the end of the recipes. All the helpful charts for so many foods, measurement conversions, volume equivalents that definitely help you in US standard or metric, oven temps and weight equivalents.

Great book focused on air-frying for two people. First chapter includes info on air frying as a cooking method, faqs, etc. Then lots of recipes are separated by breakfast, snacks/apps. veggies and sides, seafood, poultry, meat, and desserts. The recipes were a nice variety of items and flavors. All recipes include nutritional information. Recipes are marked as being particularly fast, and for dietary needs like gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan. Back of the book has cooking time charts for fresh and frozen items and different cuts of meat. Only drawback is that I wish there were more photos. The ones that were included looked really appetizing, but there were just a few.
I received an ebook ARC of this title in exchange for an honest review.
