Caitlin and Jonas have had a strictly casual sexual relationship for almost two years when he declares his feelings for her. She immediately ends things and he starts dating an adorable nurse. Did she just make the biggest mistake of her life? When her friend and boss asks her to beta test his new dating app she reluctantly agreed to start dating again, but little did she know that Jonas was going to use this opportunity to win her back.

I loved everything about this book except the truly awful cover.

I thought that 28 Dates was a cute romance between Caitlin and Jonas. This is the third installment of Stacey Lynn's Crazy Love series and it can definitely be read as a standalone.

I gave this book 4 stars because I expected a little more steam then what was in the book. the first couple of pages start off steamy but you don't really get steam in the middle of the book. I usually pick up these types of novels for the tension and the steam factors. This one was more of a story which I loved but didn't give the reader all the hot and heavy vibes.

I loved the dynamic between Caitlin and Jonas and felt like they could be real people in my life. I also felt like we would have been friends. They were both very likable characters.

I will pick up Lynn's other books because I enjoyed these two characters so much.

Thank you Loveswept and Stacey Lynn for my copy of 28 Dates

**4.5 Stars**

I really enjoy this author's writing style and I really enjoyed these characters and this story. I loved that Jonas was a little more invested in his friends with benefits relationship than Caitlin, and that he wanted more since often times it's the other way around, so I enjoyed the role reversal.

My heart did break for Jonas though when he had to take a step back in order for he and Caitlin to eventually be able to find their way towards their HEA. This story does show that sometimes the best things are worth waiting for. I absolutely loved the ending and overall found the story very engaging. I need to go back and read the other books in the series now!!!

I really enjoyed this book. It was almost a second chance book.
Caitlin and Jonas were friends with benefits for two years. He wanted more. She couldn't give it to him. He left her to find it elsewhere. Fast forward to six months later.... he's not happy with his girlfriend. She's not happy being alone . Her friend Trey wants her to try out his new dating app. Jonas decides he need to get back with Caitlin but wants more....
Will they find their ways back to each other??
It was a fun , flirty, feel good book.

28 Dates by Stacey Lynn was cute and sweet. Caitlin and Jonas are friends with benefits but Jonas wants more. Caitlin is afraid of commitment and breaks it off. They remain friends, sort of. Caitlin's boss asks her to test his dating app and Jonas joins without her knowing. They get matched and Jonas tries to win her heart via text, while watching her go on 28 dates with random dudes. Eventually Caitlin finds out the dude she likes from the app is Jonas. She's not pissed that he sort of lied. She's very wooed. Then HEA, baby. (Actually babies. Nice epilogue. I know a lot of people think baby epilogues are unnecessary. And they are. But I still like them.)

I felt like the book kind of glossed over Caitlin's issues. She has parental problems and she just kind of magically gets over it after one conversation with her friend. And Jonas dates another girl after Caitlin rejects him at the beginning. He breaks up with the other woman before he starts going after the Heroine again, but I just don't like any other woman drama.

I give this book 4 Stars. I enjoyed the writing style and the side characters. I will probably track down the other books in this series.

Oh, and I have to say, I freaking hated the cover on the ARC. I don't know if it will end up being the final cover, but I'm guessing it will because it has the same look as another book in the series. It made me expect a very different book. I was happily surprised that the book didn't deliver on the promise of the cover.

I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a great book! Caitlin and Jonas starts off the book as friends with benefits but he ends it because he wants more but she doesn’t. Fast forward some and Jonas ends up in a relationship, and Caitlin agrees to test out her boss’ new dating app. While some dates go comically and relatably wrong, some are great! And in the end, Caitlin gets her happily ever after - but with whom? I definitely recommend this book!

Overall all it was a good, quick read & a bit on the predictable side. Guy likes girl, girl is afraid of commitment. Guy finds new girl but she’s too nice. Guy wants bootie call girl back for keeps but has to convince her they can make it.

good story and characters, although a little predictable it kept me hooked until the very end, I liked the fast paced of the story, I think it worked pretty well for it

One attack years ago has everyone in Caitlin’s circle thinking it’s the reason she stays away from commitment; it’s the loveless marriage she saw her parents live through and the lack of love they gave to her that keeps her distant. The only people she trusts are her closest friends, Trey and Corbin who are like brothers to her and Corbin’s wife Teagan. Only one other person has come close to that level of trust and that’s her “friends with benefits” Jonas. Well, he was, until he wanted more than she could give. Now she suffers through watching Jonas move on while she sits alone.
Jonas has been in love with Caitlin for years, he’s been her bed-buddy for far too long but when Caitlin makes it clear that she’s not interested in an actual relationship with him, he does what he thinks is best and breaks off their arrangement. Leaving Caitlin behind was much harder than he thought it would be and he thought it would be pretty hard. When he learns that Caitlin is testing out her tech friend’s dating app. He launches a plan to help her see they are perfect for each other.
This was a short read that was quite enjoyable. This by far, is my favorite book in the Crazy Love series. Both Caitlin and Jonas were relatable characters and the chemistry between the two was definitely there. I don’t know if this qualifies as a “second chance” romance but it worked for me.
Put this on you TBR for the summer, cute book to have with you on a beach of pool day.

I LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH!!!

This is book 3 in a series and I am loving it. It stars Caitlin and Jonas they are both in love with the other and have been having sex for 2 years without any commitment but Jonas wants a real relationship and Caitlin wants fun time only. So when Jonas pushes for more she dumps him and he find another girl friend who wants more too.

Thats when this story picks up, he still loves her but she now knows what she lost and she wants him back. She agrees to test out her friends new dating app and Jonas sees a chance he can have with her if she is ready to find a relationship. BUt he has a girlfriend....You will love what he does to get Caitlin.

This is the story of two people realising that you don't throw love out the window and it was wonderful.

This is the 3rd book in the Crazy Love Series, I must say, I do love this series. I liked this book, but didn't love it. Caitlin was a tough sell for me. She doesn't want to fall in love, but is with Jonas and is in total denial. Because she can't or won't see it, she agrees to go on dates with other men. I have to be honest, I didn't think it was fair to Jonas.

Caitlin and Jonas have been friends with benefits for two years, when Jonas wants more, Caitlin rejects him because she doesn’t believe in happily ever after . Fast forward six months and Jonas hears that Caitlin is going to test a dating app her boss developed. He decides that this is the way to get Caitlin to fall for him, beyond their physical relationship. This book has a nice amount of humor, and I loved all of the disastrous dates that Caitlin had to endure. This is a fun, easy read that was reminiscent of “You Got Mail”. I received a ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest opinion.

This book was slow for me. I couldn't understand why the hero was so in love with the heroine. She didn't give him any indication over two years and he still pined for her. I also never really understood why she was so against commitment and then a switch flipped. This was more of a friendship story to me

I absolutely love this series and I am really hoping that Trey gets the next book. This book is Caitlin and Jonah’s book. Caitlin and Jonah’s have a friend with benefits arrangement that works really well for them. One night Jonah’s lays his cards on the table and asks Caitlin for a relationship and she turns him down. Jonah moves on with someone else and Caitlin does not. Now 6 months later Caitlin is still lonely and missing Jonah a lot. Trey asks her to help him test his new dating app. She thinks about it and after much thought she agrees. When Jonah finds out he thinks this might be his chance to get her back. Can he win her back? If he does will she forgive him when she finds out what he did? This is a really great read from start to finish. I would highly recommend not only this book but the whole series. Thanks Net Galley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

The third book in Stacey Lynn’s Crazy Love series (which can most definitely be read as a standalone), 28 Dates follows Caitlin and Jonas, former friends with benefits who ended the benefits after Jonas asked for more and Caitlin declined. The book opens with a heart-wrenching scene, one that clearly shows how the two felt about each other in the past (they were friends with benefits for 2 years - feelings were definitely involved). After Jonas puts his heart on the line and is rejected, their relationship gets tense and time passes. Caitlin can’t help but wonder if she made the wrong decision since she hasn’t been able to move on, so when her friend Trey asks her to test out his new dating app, she embarks on a journey to test the dating waters. Jonas hears about the app and realizes this might be his final chance to pursue Caitlin, so he sets out to prove to her that their relationship can be more than physical.

If the story sounds emotional and full of angst, that’s because it is. I’ve read the first two books in Stacey Lynn’s Crazy Love series (and loved them), and this book is definitely a heavier, more emotional book than the others. That being said, Jonas was a great character and his love for Caitlin made 28 Dates a worthwhile read. Neither one is perfect, and they both make a lot of mistakes along the way, but they have a more solid foundation than Caitlin realized. I appreciated reading this unique, modern love story and thank NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Hopefully there will be more books in this series (I’d love to read Trey, Tucker or even Trevor’s book in the future!), since each one is completely different and offers its own perspective on love.

28 Dates was a cute and quick read, I liked it but didn't love it. The pace was good, the storyline was alright but not engaging enough for me.
This is the 3rd book in the Crazy Love Series, but can totally be read as a standalone without reading the prior books. I previously read the 2nd book Knocked Up, but not Fake Wife and I had no issues.
28 Dates is told in Dual-POV with the first-person narrative - which is always a plus for me. Like I said above, I did like it and do recommend others to read it.

Caitlin and Jonas have been in a friends-with-benefits relationship for the past 2 years, but he wants more. The story starts out with Jonas asking her for a date, which wasn't well received by her. This scene was well written and definitely tugged on my heartstrings. I felt sad for Jonas and annoyed with Caitlin while reading it. My annoyance was soon lifted though, as I did start to enjoy the heroine of the story with the more I read.

Anyways, flash forward 6 months and Jonas is trying to move on with his girlfriend Ashley. But the heart wants what it wants.
Caitlin is helping her friend Trey (who I hope gets his own book) by testing out his new PerfectMatch app for a month. Although she has never had an interest in a relationship before, watching the couples around her has her rethinking her life of only having men around for strictly sex.
Will Caitlin find someone else with the PerfectMatch app? Will she figure out she has been in love with him this whole time? Will Jonas push her for more again?

I'm definitely going to keep my eyes peeled in case Stacey Lynn does indeed write Trey's book.

As I started reading I had to continue going why because in the beginning guy dumps (Jonah) her and goes out with someone else for 6 months, and I couldn't believe that I mean it wasn't a couple of dates it was 6 months!! when again guy claims that he loves her so much, gag me and of course she Caitlin has not had anyone else for said months, whatever...However that being said I decided to read a little more and then decided let me read even more and I was happy that I did by the end I decided that yup I did like it. Why well you understand why Caitlin didn't feel that she couldn't commit and you love her friends how they have stood by her from the beginning. Then we also gets Jonah's reasoning, still wasn't happy about the girlfriend even though he does dump because he loved and wanted Caitlin and then goes out of way to get her back..

28 Dates is the story of Caitlyn and Jonas, a couple that has had a friends with benefits relationship. When he wants more she freaks out and they split. Her boss/best friend Trey asks her to use a dating app he is designing and she reluctantly agrees. The book tells the story of what happens from there and whether or not she can get over her fear of commitment. This is book 3 of a series-I have not read the other books and it works as a stand-alone. What makes this book unique is the dual point of view alternating chapters of Caitlyn and Jonas. It made the story very engaging to see where they were both coming from as the story unfolded. I would definitely recommend this fun and engaging read!
