I loved this book. It was designed to make you think, and it does just that. Not only did I like seeing the different interpretations of classic works by Jewish authors, but it answered a lot of questions I had about what it means to study history and philosophy outside the Jewish niche.
This is a book that has passages in it that you want to share with those around you, because they are too good, too insightful to keep to yourself. I liked the way the book was structured and found the variety of topics both interesting and engaging. The author writes in a clear and concise fashion, and yet it feels personal, as if you are part of the conversation going on.
I definitely think this is a book to share. I was grateful for the opportunity to read it.
