Ian and Andi were the golden couple at Glenlake Academy. 20 years later, they are still together, living in a beautiful house, working on their own businesses and their oldest daughter is a senior at Glenlake. When a car and the body of a former teacher are found in a lake near the school, Ian and Andi are pulled back into their senior year and the few months of turmoil that only a few remember.

Drowning With Others is a wonderful character study of a family. Andi is a poet at heart and always has been. Ian is more of the brawn, with a bit of a simmering pot of rage underneath. Cassidy is a smart, funny young adult who wants to be successful and to make everyone proud.

While I could say that this is a 'thriller', I would put this more into the 'domestic fiction' category. It's more about a family, about students, about a young girl and the power of teachers - both good and bad.

The young man attends Glenn lake academy.its tradition in past for seniors lure freshmen into jumping off lifeguard tower. With that blocked off a new tradition is formed to jump off the cliff. But secrets arise when a cracked skull is found in the water.

Brilliant, well written and highly tense. Well done. I’d definitely recommend this to my friends and family x

An excellent thriller that really draws you in. I was immersed in the storyline and couldn't stop reading well past my bedtime. Highly recommended.

** spoiler alert ** I liked this more than I expected... and I mean no disrespect in that. Just that family drama isn't really my thing, and I felt there was a fair bit of it in the book.
Told over two timelines, one trying to solve a 20 year old murder, the other twenty years before that and the events that led up to it.
I say murder, nobody knows if it was murder or not.
The characters all slowly revealed themselves in the parts set in the past, and the future sections set them all in pace.
I think I'd have liked it more,if the ending hadn't been so unbelievable.
When you've got a cast of characters with enough reason to kill, why make up another?

Other than that,decently paced,decent characters,decent all round.
