I love the billionaire having a baby trope.. it may just be one of my favorites when it comes to surprise babies in books. This book was a quick and short read and let me tell you I tried very very hard to like it and find something redeemable about it but I just couldn’t. The female character was written as weak and without an inch of a backbone in terms of standing up for herself when it came to such a tense situation. Bring in the male lead and my goodness.. I was more than just a bit disgusted at everything written coming out of his mouth. He was a chauvinistic pig who was more in love with money than with the woman having his child. I mean.. the woman you claim to have feelings for calls you to tell you that they are going to the ER after bleeding and you tell her that it’s not convenient for you to be there with her?! UGH. I’ve never hated a male character more than I hated this one, and that’s saying a lot. Severely disappointed with this story.

Books involving kids are my kryptonite. So, of course, the plot for this book really pulled me in- and I do believe the plot had potential, but as it is, the book didn't do it for me.
I couldn't feel any chemistry between Connie and Brian, and I couldn't connect with either character individually. It's sad, though, because Brian's character intrigued me, and I would've loved to see the development of his character from 'I need to focus on success/money' to 'Money isn't the only thing that matters'.
Overall, I just think there wasn't enough time for any substantial development to happen.

This is a fairly light-hearted romp given the serious nature of pregnancy. The story and prose were very in keeping with North's other works. I wouldn't call it especially compelling but it's an easy hour's escape if that is what you are looking for. Both Connie and Brian were likable and believable. I felt some of the dialogue was a little forced through.
A quick fun read but a bit short for me, the characters were engaging and story nice but just felt it was lacking a bit of spark or a certain something, but still enjoyable

This book was a quick, easy read. It took me awhile to feel any sort of connection to the characters. The book didn’t offer much in the way of descriptions but it was also a very short book. I liked Connie’s humor and like romances! Overall it was ok and a predictable storyline.
Connie Bonner has spent her life working hard and following her passion, never too worried about how things will work out or where her life is headed. But after one unforgettable, passionate night. When I started reading I couldn't put down.Leslie North is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.
Short and Steamy Love Triangle
Synopsis: Brian runs a multi-million, soon to be billion dollar, development firm. His goal in life is to reach billionaire status and in line with that is finding a wife whom he can leverage her wealth and business standings. However, his one-night-stand with Connie, a developer at his firm, throws a wrench in things. She's pregnant with his baby. And now he needs to choose between his heart and his financial goal.
This was a cute, easy-read story. The pace is rather fast, and some might stay rushed. There are several missing details that would have added some more thorough backstory to Connie and Brian, but they weren't 100% required.
What threw me off was how passive both Connie and Brian were at times. If they were upset with one another, it was only for 5 minutes and they never seemed to get into deep-rooted emotions. Brian's outlook on his "arranged" marriage with Felicia wasn't well constructed. It was just like "oh this is a good idea - make it happen" without much consideration for feelings.
I think that all character development was rushed. There were very surface level characteristics addresses about Felicia, Connie, and Brian, but no true meat or depth.
Yeah, this was just okay. I read it in 3 hours so no harm, no foul.

The Billionaire’s Accidental Baby is a short and surprisingly sweet story about a woman who sleeps with her former boss and winds up getting pregnant. The two have never dated but they’ve secretly been attracted to each other for months. Once they discover that she is pregnant, our hero has to decide if he wants to pursue the loveless marriage for business purposes he’s been planning with his new girlfriend or if he wants to be involved in his new baby’s life. Normally, I would not appreciate our hero being in a relationship with another woman during much of the book, but it was done tastefully and the circumstances made sense. It’s a nice, light-hearted story, not going into too much depth but perfect for a quick read. I enjoyed the book and appreciate NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Exactly what I was in the mood for. Very short read but full of sweet and sexy moments. I would definitely be interested in checking out more of Leslie North's books.
Another great book by Leslie North. It was funny and hot, but at times my heart ached for Connie. Granted things worked out in the end for Connie. The ONLY complaint I have would be the ending. It would have been awesome to know these of the baby.
Absolutely loved reading this book. It is an easy read with an interesting story line. I loved the main characters and I’m glad he finally saw sense in the end. The portrayal of the characters is realistic and makes you route for Connie. I’m starting to read the second in the series!
3 stars—THE BILLIONAIRE’S ACCIDENTAL BABY is the first instalment in Leslie North’s contemporary, adult BILLIONAIRES AND BABIES erotic, romance series. This is billionaire businessman Brian O’Leary, and developer Connie Bonner’s story line.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Brian and Connie) THE BILLIONAIRE’S ACCIDENTAL BABY follows in the wake of Connie Bonner’s firing from O Developments following an incident that lost the company a potential billion dollar investment. A one-night stand with her ex-boss, billionaire Brian O’Leary, found our heroine facing a pregnancy alone when she discovers our hero was now betrothed to someone else. What ensues is the tepid relationship between Brian and Connie as our couple battle their attraction to one another in spite of the change in Brian’s status, and the fall-out as Brian’s business arrangement spirals out of control.
Brian O’Leary’s engagement is more of a business arrangement than anything else but our hero wants nothing to do with being a father, and his new fiancé is even more reluctant to accept the inevitable. Connie is willing to raise the child on her own but an NDA contract forces our heroine to remain hidden in plain sight.
The relationship between Connie and Brian begins as employee and boss, then a one-night stand that results in a pregnancy that is about to upend everyone’s life. Unwilling to be a full-time father, Brian offers little support as our heroine struggles many times on her own. The $ex scenes are fast and furious but I never felt the connection or love.
THE BILLIONAIRE’S ACCIDENTAL BABY was a bit of a struggle for me: from the immature attitude of both the H/h, to the adolescent language including the use of ‘bone’ as a euphemism for $ex, I battled to see any redeeming qualities for everyone involved. A quick novella length read, the lack of character development, and rushed conflict resolution left me unfulfilled.

This was a sweet easy read. I do wish that the story had a little more depth. I do plan to read more books by this author.
The Billionaire’s Accidental Baby
by Leslie North
Connie is the type of open mouth and inset foot. And she was just fired again due to her mouth. Wallowing in self pity at a nearby bar, her former boss walks in. They end up walking out together and to his home. That lead to her current condition pregnant and unemployed.
Brian is a man motivated only by his money goal, even to the point that he let Felicity boss him around. Not just in business but also with what is to be done with the baby. Brian is not only blinded by his need to reach his life goal, he doesn’t even consider that his behavior is going to put his own child in the same position he was in growing up.
Beside being a extremely short read, the plot was well planned, but the characters left a lot to be desired.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you! I enjoyed this fun romance novel. It was a quick read.
It reminded me of 50 Shades of Gray with the hard to read boss and the junior woman who fell in love, got pregnant and in the end got her man literally.
Thank you!

This is not one of my favorite books from this author. I just did not like either Connie or Brian. The way that Brian treated Connie was horrible and it made me cringe when she just accepted this treatment. It also didn't help that Connie acted like a moron when a major investor came to the office.
Things finally got better towards the end when Brian finally came to his senses and dumped Felicia . Both Brian and Connie's families seemed normal and likeable so not sure why they rubbed me the wrong way!
The Billionaire's Accidental Baby is the first book in Leslie North’s new Billionaires and Babies series. While I did enjoy this story, I found it a little harder to connect with Brian’s character and his reasons for needing a billion dollars, rather than just the tens of millions he already had.
Connie’s character was easier to like, but there were still moments where I felt the humour was forced and unnatural, rather than cute and quirky. This is probably, my least favourite book of Ms North’s to date, but still a quick and easy read.
I loved this book. Connie was hilarious!! And I was glad to see Brian pull his head out his hiney and make her his. Read this is one sitting.
I really wanted to love these characters, but alas, it was just like. Brian was clueless about things with Felicia, and he even knew it, and couldn't figure out that he was being an idiot. I don't know how his family let him be so stupid. Connie was fun and smart, except she was all casual about the baby and raising the baby alone. I don't think I would have been so easy to please. I'm glad they got the HEA, but the story was a little stunted. I feel there could have been a longer more full story here.
The first in a new series by Leslie North, The Billionaire's Accidental Baby is a great read. I enjoyed the character dynamics and the engaging storyline. A really good short story that I recommend you grab and start reading
